These techniques may include determining that a service health incident has customer impact, the service health incident corresponding to an outage of one or more services of a cloud computing platform, identifying a plurality of customers impacted by the service health incident, and predicting, based on the service health incident and one or more other service health incidents, aggregated incident information identifying a plurality of service health incidents associated with the outage of the one or more services. In addition, the techniques may include identifying the one or more services associated with the service health incident, and transmitting, based at least in part on the aggregated incident information and the one or more services, a health notification to the plurality of customers.

A wireless communication network to serve a User Equipment (UE) over Network Exposure Functions (NEFs) that have Application Programming Interfaces (APIs). In the wireless communication network, a NEF Interface Function (NIF) receives a NEF request from a network function. The NIF correlates the NEF request with one of the APIs. The NIF selects one of the NEFs based on the one of the APIs. The NIF translates the NEF request into an API call based on the one of the APIs. The NIF transfers the API call to the one of the NEFs. The one of the NEFs receive the API call and responsively performs a network task for the UE based on the API call.

METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR REAL-TIME DYNAMIC APPLICATION PROGRAMMING INTERFACE (API) TRAFFIC SHAPING AND INFRASTRUCTURE RESOURCE PROTECTION IN A MULTICLIENT NETWORK ENVIRONMENT

A real-time dynamic API traffic shaping and infrastructure resource protection in a multiclient network environment is provided. A traffic rules engine (TRE) applies traffic shaping only to customers that are utilizing “more than their fair share” of the currently available bandwidth without allowing them to negatively impact the user experience of other users. The present invention takes current API traffic into consideration, allowing one or a few high volume users to utilize most of all available bandwidth as long as other users do not need that bandwidth. This includes dynamically measuring and adjusting which users had traffic shaping applied to them based on the overall traffic during any given second. The solution of the present invention avoids any slowdown of customer API requests unless the maximum allowable TPS limit is near to being reached.

Devices and techniques for non-blocking external device calls are described herein. Specifically, when a processor receives an instruction with a no-return indication from a thread for a device, the processor can increase a counter corresponding to the thread based on the no-return indication. The processor can then continue execution of the thread without waiting for a return value from the device. When a return value is received for the instruction, the processor can decrement the counter. While the counter is not zero, the processor prevents the thread from completing (exiting).

The API detects a user interaction with of a portion of the custom component via a first message that informs the dashboard runtime of the detected user interaction; passes a second message to the at least one query instructing the at least one query to rerun to receive an updated query dataset; and passes the updated dataset via a third message to the custom component and to any other components associated with the at least one query, such that the custom component and the other components automatically render updated visual representations of the updated dataset.
