Disclosed in various embodiments are an electronic device, the electronic device comprising: a power control circuit for controlling power supplied to at least one component of the electronic device; at least one submergence recognition circuit including a first pole connected to at least one port of the power control circuit, and a second pole connected to a ground; a processor electrically connected to the power control circuit; and a memory electrically connected to the processor, wherein the memory can be configured, during execution thereof, to store instructions for allowing the processor to: control the power control circuit such that power is supplied to the submergence recognition circuit; sense a current flowing from the submergence recognition circuit to the power control circuit; and determine, on the basis of the sensing result of the current, whether an area in which the submergence recognition circuit is arranged has been submerged.
Part replacement predictions using convolutional neural networks
An example of an apparatus including a communication interface to receive an image file is provided. The image file represents a scanned image of a output generated by a printing device. The apparatus further includes an identification engine to process the image file with a convolutional neural network model to identify a feature. The feature may be indicative of a potential failure. The apparatus also includes an image analysis engine to indicate a life expectancy of a part associated with the potential failure based on the feature. The image analysis engine uses the convolutional neural network model to determine life expectancy.
METHOD FOR MONITORING AN OPERATION CONDITION OF AN INTERACTIVE INFORMATION SYSTEM
A method for monitoring an operation condition of an interactive information system is provided. The interactive information system includes a touch panel and a touch control unit, and executes a resident scanning program to detect whether a hardware-related issue or a software-related issue of the touch panel or the touch control unit has occurred. When the hardware-related issue has occurred, the interactive information system downloads and executes a hardware diagnosis program to obtain a diagnosis result. When the software-related issue has occurred, the interactive information system downloads and executes a software adjustment program to resolve the software-related issue.
Resource monitoring system, resource monitoring method, and information storage medium
A computer of a resource monitoring system is configured to execute an application for analyzing an operation of an industrial device. A use status acquisition module is configured to acquire a use status of a resource of the computer by the application. A display control module is configured to display the use status on a resource monitoring screen.
Redundancy system and method
A method, computer program product, and computing system for operating an autonomous vehicle; monitoring the operation of a plurality of computing devices within the autonomous vehicle; and in response to detecting the failure of one or more of the plurality of computing devices, switching the autonomous vehicle from a nominal autonomous operational mode to a degraded autonomous operational mode.
Characterizing and monitoring electrical components of manufacturing equipment
A method includes receiving, from one or more sensors associated with manufacturing equipment, current trace data associated with producing, by the manufacturing equipment, a plurality of products. The method further includes performing signal processing to break down the current trace data into a plurality of sets of current component data mapped to corresponding component identifiers. The method further includes providing the plurality of sets of current component data and the corresponding component identifiers as input to a trained machine learning model. The method further includes obtaining, from the trained machine learning model, one or more outputs indicative of predictive data and causing, based on the predictive data, performance of one or more corrective actions associated with the manufacturing equipment.
DETERMINING A STATUS OF A MOBILE ELECTRONIC DEVICE
A method for use in determining a status of a mobile electronic device, comprises repeatedly reading information from a debug log stored in a ringbuffer of the mobile electronic device, repeatedly using the information read from the debug log to construct and maintain an event history for the mobile electronic device, and repeatedly determining the status of the mobile electronic device based on the event history. The method may be used for determining a status of a mobile electronic device and, in particular though not exclusively, for use in determining a status of one or more hardware elements of a mobile phone, a smartphone, a tablet and/or a laptop. A system and a computer program for use in determining a status of a mobile electronic device are also disclosed.
Debug Trace Fabric for Integrated Circuit
A trace network for debugging integrated circuits is disclosed. At least one functional network includes a plurality of components interconnected by a number of network switches, implemented on at least one integrated circuit. A trace network is also implemented on the at least one integrated circuit, and includes a plurality of trace circuits configured to generate trace data based on transactions between ones of the plurality of components. The plurality of trace circuits are coupled to one another by a plurality of trace network switches. The trace circuits are configured to convey the generated trace data to an interface, via the trace network, without using the at least one functional network.
MEMORY MANAGEMENT BASED ON TEMPERATURE AND STORAGE MEDIA AVAILABILITY
Methods, systems, and apparatus related to memory management based on temperature evaluation and a status of storage media availability (e.g., whether usage of the storage media exceeds a threshold). In one approach, the memory management is implemented in a memory device having first and second memories. A controller of the memory device evaluates data from a temperature sensor to determine that a temperature of the memory device exceeds a normal operating range. Based on this evaluation, the controller selects the first memory (e.g., SLC memory) for storing incoming data. If the first memory becomes full, the controller switches to the second memory (e.g., TLC or QLC memory) for storing additional incoming data. When the temperature returns to the normal operating range, the additional data is re-written while in the normal operating range.
Event stream processing system, event stream processing method, event stream processing program
An event stream processing system having a processor, wherein the processor registers a temporary object when the object of an event message is unregistered in response to the event message from an event generating device, stores the event message in a pending manner, and Issues an error message. The processor converts the temporary object to a permanent object in response to an automatically-issued event generation message in response to the error message, updates state of the object with state value of the held event message, and executes plug-in corresponding to the updated state.
