MONITOR PERIPHERAL DEVICE BASED ON IMPORTED DATA
Various examples described herein provide for monitoring a peripheral device by data imported from the peripheral device. The peripheral data may comprise a script associated with monitoring or managing the peripheral device, or descriptive data describing a set of monitor values on the peripheral device.
MONITORING RULES DECLARATION AND AUTOMATIC CONFIGURATION OF THE MONITORING RULES
During development of an application storing monitoring tools within the source code of the application. During deployment, extracting all monitoring rules from the source code of the application; obtaining information to complete the monitoring rules and customize the monitoring rules to the application which is to be monitored; discarding duplicate monitoring rules; and sending the monitoring rules to a target monitoring tool for configuration of monitoring rules within the application.
Methods of using OX40 ligand encoding polynucleotides
The disclosure relates to compositions and methods for the preparation, manufacture and therapeutic use of polynucleotide molecules comprising an mRNA encoding an OX40L polypeptide. Also provided is a method for activating T cells or increasing the number of NK cells in a subject in need thereof.
PERFORMANCE MONITORING IN A DISTRIBUTED STORAGE SYSTEM
Methods and systems for monitoring performance in a distributed storage system described. One example method includes identifying requests sent by clients to the distributed storage system, each request including request parameter values for request parameters; generating probe requests based on the identified requests, the probe requests including probe request parameter values for probe request parameter values, representing a statistical sample of the request parameters included in the identified requests; sending the generated probe requests to the distributed storage system over a network, wherein the distributed storage system is configured to perform preparations for servicing each probe request in response to receiving the probe request; receiving responses to the probe requests from the distributed storage system; and outputting at least one performance metric value measuring a current performance state of the distributed storage system based on the received responses.
Agent profiler to monitor activities and performance of software agents
In one embodiment, a software agent profiler process attaches to an application and a primary instrumentation interface for the application, and discovers one or more software agents associated with the application. The software agent profiler process may then launch the one or more software agents within an encapsulated container environment of the software agent profiler process by configuring each of the one or more software agents, respectively, to point to a proxy instrumentation interface of the software agent profiler process instead of the primary instrumentation interface for the application. As such, the software agent profiler process may receive calls from the one or more software agents on the proxy instrumentation interface of the software agent profiler process, and can manage the calls from the one or more application agents prior to the calls being passed to the primary instrumentation interface for the application.
Preemptive trouble shooting using dialog manager
One or more problems may be detected in an executing application by retrieving runtime execution information from the application executing on one or more computers. The runtime information is transformed into a temporal sequence of events. A knowledgebase is searched for a dialog that has nodes in an order that match the temporal sequence of events according to a threshold degree. Responsive to finding the dialog in the knowledgebase, the dialog is launched on a user interface to interact with a user and guide the user through a problem identification and solution. Responsive to not finding the dialog, additional instrumenter is enabled in the application.
Real-time ranking of monitored entities
The disclosed technology includes ranking entities in real-time to show the relative importance of those entities. The ranking is based on attributes of the entities that vary in real-time. An example of an entity is a process (e.g., an executing computer program) and the associated attributes can include the process' current CPU memory consumption. While the process runs, its CPU and memory consumption vary in real-time.
Data processing system and method for monitoring system properties
A data processing system and method are provided for outputting from each of a plurality of monitoring units, for storage in storage circuitry, monitoring data indicative of a property of the data processing system, wherein at least one monitoring unit is provided within a power domain operable in a low power mode where the at least one monitoring unit is unable to output monitoring data. A system control processor is employed to read the monitoring data from the storage circuitry, and to perform system control operations in dependence on the monitoring data. In response to a notification that the power domain is to be placed into the low power mode, status data is output indicating that the at least one monitoring unit is disabled, and the status data is stored in the storage circuitry. Subsequently, the status data is provided to the system control processor in response to an attempt to read the monitoring data.
