Safety Wear Item
A safety wear item featuring a series of LEDs mounted on each of four separate mounting strips, two strips extending down from a respective one of the wear item shoulders and two other strips wrapped around each side of the lower region of a wear item waist. The strips with LEDs are each readily and quickly detachable from the wear item to allow washing the vest or to replace a strip having a defective LED thereon.

SAFETY LIGHT
The present invention provides various aspects of a novel safety light that can be attached to a bicyclist or around the body of an athlete so as to define a well lit, safe distance to avoid collision by a motorist. The present safety concerns would find advantage in an easy to attach safety light that is much larger, more conspicuous and one that provides greater lumens. It would be desirable for athletes and the sports industry if there was provided an improved safety light system to provide a significant warning to let motorists know the safe distance that any motorist and/or his vehicle needs to avoid so as not to hit the cyclist or athlete.
VEST ADJUSTMENT SYSTEM
A vest adjustment system includes a plurality of first couplers on a first front portion of a vest and a plurality of second couplers on a second front portion of the vest. The first couplers may receive a first cord, and the second couplers may receive a second cord. A first adjuster may couple to a first bottom edge and receive the first cord. In a similar manner, a second adjuster may couple to a second bottom edge and receive the second cord. One or more removably attachable couplers may attach the first cord to the second cord, allowing a user to adjust the vest. The vertical and horizontal tightness and position of the vest may be adjusted by pulling each cord.
PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT SYSTEM USING OPTICAL ARTICLES FOR INTEGRATED MONITORING, ALERTING, AND PREDICTIVE SAFETY EVENT AVOIDANCE
In some examples, a system includes: at least one light capture device; an article of personal protective equipment (PPE) that includes a plurality of retroreflective elements embodied on a surface of the article of PPE in a spatially defined arrangement, each retroreflective element of the plurality of retroreflective elements having at least two different retroreflective properties; a computing device communicatively coupled to the at least one light capture device, wherein the computing device is configured to: receive, from the at least one light capture device, retroreflected light that indicates at least two different retroreflective properties of at least one retroreflective element of the plurality of retroreflective elements; determine, based at least in part on each of the at least two different retroreflective properties, a safety event; and perform at least one operation based at least in part on the safety event.

STRUCTURALLY-COLORED ARTICLES AND METHODS FOR MAKING AND USING STRUCTURALLY-COLORED ARTICLES
One or more aspects of the present disclosure provide optical element transfer structures that include an optical element releasably coupled with a transfer medium and methods of making and using the optical element transfer structures. The optical element transfer structures can be used to dispose an optical element onto an article, whereby the optical element imparts a structural color to the article.
STRUCTURALLY-COLORED ARTICLES AND METHODS FOR MAKING AND USING STRUCTURALLY-COLORED ARTICLES
One or more aspects of the present disclosure are directed to bladders that incorporate a multi-layer optical film that impart a structural color to the bladder. The present disclosure is also directed to articles including the bladders having a multi-layer optical film, and methods for making articles and bladders having a multi-layer optical film.
