HOST, SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR FACILITATING DEBUGGING IN BOOTING
A system includes a host and a display. The host includes a programmable logic device (PIP), a baseboard management controller (BMC) and a switch. The PLD performs a power-on procedure based on a power-on sequence code, generates variable character information in the power-on procedure, and fills the variable character information into a variable field in a preset log text file to result in an updated log text file. When it is determined that the power-on procedure is not normally completed, the PLD controls the switch to switch to a debug mode, and transmits a video signal containing debug information corresponding to the updated log text file to the switch so that the video signal is outputted to the display.
MONITORING PERFORMANCE OF COMPUTING SYSTEMS
Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for monitoring performance of computing systems. In some implementations, a set of tasks for a server system to perform is identified. Multiple performance testing cycles are performed, in which each of the performance testing cycles includes: sending, for each task in the set of tasks, a request for the server system to perform the task; receiving a response from the server system for each of the requests, and storing a performance measure for each of the tasks based on the response received from the server system for the task. Based on the performance measures for the multiple performance testing cycles, an evaluation is performed whether conditions are satisfied for adjusting one or more operating parameters of the server system or for providing a notification regarding the operation of the server system.
SYSTEM, METHOD, AND COMPUTER PROGRAM FOR TESTING THE ACCURACY OF SOFTWARE THAT IDENTIFIES USER INTERFACE ELEMENTS ON A WEBPAGE
The present disclosure relates to a system, method, and computer program for testing the accuracy of software that identifies user interface (UI) elements on a webpage (the auto-identifier software). The system enables a user to tag UI elements on a webpage with labels. The system creates a normalized specification for the webpage, where the specification includes a mapping of UI elements to normalized labels. The system uses the auto-identifier software to identify UI elements on the webpage. The system evaluates the performance of the auto-identifier software with respect to the webpage using the specification. The system displays diagnostics related to the performance of the auto-identifier software. In certain embodiments, the method is used for testing the accuracy of autofill software on a webform. In certain embodiments, the method is used for testing the accuracy of cart-scraper software on a checkout page.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR AUTOMATED OR SEMI-AUTOMATED IDENTIFICATION OF MALFUNCTION AREA(S) FOR MAINTENANCE CASES
A method (100) of automated identification of one or more malfunction areas of a set (S) of malfunction areas for a service case in which a medical device (12) is serviced includes: generating an output probability vector (40) of probabilities for the set of malfunction areas of the medical device by operations including applying at least one classifier (42, 46) to at least one of (1) text descriptions of parts ordered for the service case and/or (2) a text description of the service case; and displaying a list (56) of one or more most probable malfunction areas for the service case wherein the one or more most probable malfunction areas are the one or more most malfunction areas of the set of malfunction areas having highest probability in the output probability vector.
Performance monitoring using correlation search with triggering conditions
A service monitoring system executing on one or more processors may have operations that are determined by control information. Control over the operation of the service monitoring system can be exerted through the use of a graphical interface. The graphical interface may present the control information of a new or existing correlation search definition for user interaction. The service monitoring system may maintain a data store of key performance indicator (KPI) data, where a KPI value in the data store is produced by a KPI-defining search query that derives the value from machine data associated with one or more entities that perform a monitored service. A correlation search definition of the service monitoring system determines how a search of the KPI data is conducted, how its data is evaluated to determine whether a triggering condition has been met, and, if so, determines what triggered action is to be initiated.
Monitoring I.T. service-level performance using a machine data key performance indicator (KPI) correlation search

Scalable visualization of health data for network devices
This disclosure describes techniques that include presenting a visual information that conveys information about health data associated with a large number of network devices or a large number of attributes of one or more network devices. In one example, this disclosure describes a method that includes collecting performance indicator data and determining a plurality of health status values based on a health status rule; grouping the health status values, based on how many health status values are in the plurality of health status values, into a plurality of health status groups, wherein each of the health status groups includes a subset of the health status values, and wherein each of the health status values within each subset are related to each of the other health status values in the subset; and determining, for each of the health status groups, a group health status value.
TRACKING ERROR PROPAGATION ACROSS MICROSERVICES-BASED APPLICATIONS
A method of performing error analysis in a system comprising microservices comprises identifying a root cause error span from among a plurality of error spans for a trace, wherein an error span is a span that returns an error to a microservice that generates the span, and wherein a root cause error span is an error span associated with an error originating microservice. The method further comprises determining a call path associated with the root cause error span, where the call path comprises a chain of spans starting at the root cause error span, and where each subsequent span in the chain is a parent span of a prior span. Subsequently the method comprises mapping each span in the chain to a span error frame to create an error stack and rendering an image of the error stack.
DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM
A diagnostic system applied to an electronic equipment with a plurality of hardware devices is provided. The hardware devices include a display and a processor, the diagnostic system is executed by the processor to diagnose the hardware devices. The diagnostic system includes a diagnostic test interface, which is displayed on the display and includes a plurality of hardware items corresponding to the hardware devices. Each of the hardware items links to the hardware devices. When at least one of the hardware items is triggered, the processor executes the diagnostic item of the hardware device corresponding to the triggered hardware item.
Application health monitoring and reporting
A method may include retrieving data about the health of a plurality of applications executing in a computing environment. The method may also include determining a plurality of indications of health based upon the data about the health of the plurality of applications, and determining an indication of an overall health of a portion of the computing environment based upon the plurality of indications of health of the plurality of applications. Still further, the method may include generating a plurality of visual elements to be displayed on remote user devices, where the plurality of visual elements may present the indications of health and/or the indication of overall health, and sending the plurality of visual elements to at least one of the remote user devices.
