Information processing apparatus and non-transitory computer readable medium
An information processing apparatus includes a memory storing, in an associated form, attribute information assigned to a document and information that indicates whether the attribute information is first attribute information that a user is not enabled to assign or second attribute information that the user is enabled to assign and one or multiple processors configured to perform first search on the attribute information on the document using the first attribute information in a search formula and second search on the attribute information on the document using the second attribute information in the search formula.
Information processing apparatus and non-transitory computer readable medium for selecting file to be displayed
An information processing apparatus is able to access a file storage region which is formed in accordance with job defining information that defines tasks of a job and a file to be created in each of the tasks. The file storage region is formed for each job or each job and each task. A file related to a job or a task is stored in a corresponding file storage region. The information processing apparatus includes a processor which is configured to: obtain job status information concerning a status of each job for which a file storage region is formed; and select, a display element indicating files stored in a first file storage region, a file as a subject file to be displayed, from among the files stored in the first file storage region, in accordance with the status of a first job corresponding to the first file storage region.
Media capture based on media specifications
Techniques for media capture based on media specifications are described and are implementable to enable media content to be captured and/or obtained in compliance with particular media specifications. The described implementations, for example, utilize specified media specifications (e.g., media constraints) to be utilized as part of a media capture process. For instance, default media capture settings of a media capture device are modified to enable the media capture device to capture an instance of media content that complies with specific media specifications.
Overlay file system for constrained environment
Implementations for providing services to a constrained environment are described. A user interface may be provided for editing files. The files or data structure storing the files may exceed a storage limitation associated with the user interface. The user interface may represent the data structure comprising the files while only storing data indicating modifications to the file or data structure.
FAILOVER AND FAILBACK OF DISTRIBUTED FILE SERVERS
An example file server manager updates a selected share of a destination distributed file server based on a snapshot of at least a portion of a selected share of a source distributed file server. The selected share of the destination distributed file server is updated while the source distributed file server serves client requests for storage items of the selected share of the source distributed file server. The file server manager receives a request to failover from the source distributed file server to the destination distributed file server and configures the destination distributed file server to service read and write requests for storage items of the selected share of the destination distributed file server. The file server manager further redirects client requests for storage items of the selected share of the source distributed file server to the destination distributed file server by updating active directory information.
Remote virtualized asset delivery and local provisioning
Interaction output over a local computer-readable medium (CRM) generated based on user interaction with rendered content input representing a virtualized asset being is received at a virtualized asset local provisioning server. A manner to exploit the virtualized asset is determined from interaction output. The virtualized asset is exploited based on the determined manner to exploit the virtualized asset. A request for a portion of the virtualized asset generated in response to the exploiting the virtualized asset is intercepted. If it is determined that the portion of the virtualized asset is absent from the local storage, a request for the portion of the virtualized asset is sent to a virtualized asset delivery system over a non-local CRM; the portion of the virtualized asset retrieved by the virtualized asset delivery system is received over the non-local CRM; and the received portion of the virtualized asset is used in exploiting the virtualized asset.
System and method for improved searching across multiple databases
A system for database access comprising a plurality of databases, each database having a plurality of defined data fields and a mapping system coupled to the plurality of databases, the mapping system configured to create an algorithmic relationship between a plurality of first fields of a plurality of first databases, and a corresponding field of a plurality of second fields of a plurality of second databases.
RESUMABLE COPY OPERATION
A method is provided that includes initiating a copy operation to copy a set of files from a source location on a first storage device to a destination location on a second storage device. Metadata is stored on the second storage device in association with the destination location to include the source location on the first storage device and an indication that the copy operation has been initiated. The metadata is updated with identifying information of files from the set of files successfully copied from the source location to the destination location during the copy operation. After an interruption in the copy operation, the copy operation is resumed based on the metadata identifying the source location of the set of files and the identified files successfully copied from the source location to the destination location prior to the interruption.
Electronic file management
Described herein are methods and system for electronic file management having a central server that periodically scans files accessible to multiple computers to identify every file stored onto multiple electronic data repositories. The central server then executes a predetermined protocol to generate a unique identifier for each identified file. The central server then generates an interconnected nodal data structure computer model where each node represents an identified file and where the nodes are linked based on their respective files having similar unique identifiers. The central server periodically scans the electronic data repositories to identify related data. When a related file is identified, the central server modifies the nodal data structure accordingly. When a user requests access to a file, the central server displays all related data to the requested file.
Synchronizing an external location
The present technology pertains to synchronizing contents of a directory external to a synchronized directory by a content management system. The content management system is configured to synchronize only objects in the synchronized directory. Accordingly, the present technology creates an anchor object that represents the directory external to the synchronized directory within the synchronized directory. The anchor object includes special attributes that indicate to the synchronization client that the anchor object represents an external directory, and allows the contents of that directory to be synchronized directly to a server on the content management system without first storing the contents of the external directory on the hard drive of the client device.
