Method and system for facilitating access to recorded data
The present invention relates to a method and system for facilitating access to recorded data. The system comprises an interface and a processing device. The interface is arranged to receive data and the processing device is arranged to separate the received data in data subsets, compress each data subset and assign an identifier to each compressed data subset, thereby creating data units each comprising a compressed data subset and an associated identifier, the processing device further being arranged to establish an index on the basis of the assigned identifiers.

Computer system with a plurality of work environments where each work environment affords one or more workspaces
A computer system provides at least one workspace as a user interface corresponding to a user-generated topic. A home topic is provided to the user as an initially selected topic. The home topic provides a workspace to the user as a user interface. User selection of a first topic within the home topic causes designation of the first topic as the current topic. A first workspace is associated with the first topic, and a first topic data structure associated with the first topic is generated and the first topic data structure is associated only with application windows, files and application related data used by the user while the first topic is designated as the current topic. The user is provided, within the first workspace, only application windows, files and application related data used by the user while the first topic is designated as the current topic.

Virtual file organizer
A virtual file organization system, method and program product are disclosed. Included is a system that assigns classification tags to files stored within a storage system based on a natural language processing (NLP) context analysis of each file; and a virtual smart folder that is viewable within a user interface, wherein: opening the virtual smart folder causes a set of virtual subfolders to be displayed in which each virtual subfolder includes a category title; opening of a virtual subfolder causes a set of files residing at disparate locations in the storage system to be displayed; and the files displayed by opening the virtual subfolder each include an assigned classification tag that is associated with the category title of the virtual subfolder.

Systems and methods for in-place records management and content lifecycle management
An in-place information management system having a management application built on a common data model and configured for asynchronous query-based application of policies on content stored in the disparate data storage systems through a query interface which may be part of a set of integration services. The common data model may be configured based on common architectures of the disparate data storage systems. The query interface may be configured for running a query on a data storage system in response to a search request received by the management application from a records manager and for mapping semantically equivalent keys from disparate data storage systems to a key in the common data model. The query may define a set of records to be treated similarly according to corporate policy on content lifecycle and records compliance.

CONTAINER SYSTEM, METHOD OF DYNAMICALLY MOUNTING HOST DATA TO CONTAINER, AND APPLICATION PROGRAM FOR THE SAME
A container system is disclosed. The container system includes a host, a daemon and an API server running in the containers of the host, and a container manager running in the host. The host has a file system. The container manager creates a source directory in the file system and mounts the source directory to a share directory of the daemon. The API server receives a request command with respect to a target directory in the file system, and the container manager bind-mounts the target directory to a sub-directory of the source directory according to the request command. In addition, the container manager responds the API server the location of the target directory in the share directory for accessing the required data through the share directory in the containers.
