Automated generation of revision summaries

Technologies are provided for automated generation of revision summaries for an electronic document. In some embodiments, a computing system can determine that a first section of a first version of the electronic document includes changes relative to a second section of a second version of the electronic document. The second section corresponds to the first section. The computing system also can generate respective descriptions of the first section and the second section. The computing system can then generate a summary of the changes by comparing the respective descriptions. The computing system can determine that the summary has a defined placement in a ranking of similarity scores, where a first similarity score in the ranking defines similarity between the respective descriptions. The computing system can add metadata to the first version of the electronic document. The metadata controls presentation of a visual element indicative of the summary within a user interface.

Incremental vault to object store

Systems and methods for managing incremental data backups on an object store. A computing device receives first data representing a changed chunk of data in a revision of a data volume on a storage device, the changed chunk includes data having changes from previous data of a previous revision. The computing device creates a block of data representing a copy of the changed chunk on the object store, the object store also includes a previous revision block representing previous revision data. The computing device determines a previous index stored on the object store corresponding to the previous revision, which includes entries including at least one corresponding to the previous revision block. The computing device creates a copy of at least one previous index from the object store, and a revised index that updates the corresponding entry with updated entry data representing the change block.

NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER READABLE MEDIUM WITH EXECUTABLE REVISION HISTORY INTEGRATION PROGRAM, AND REVISION HISTORY INTEGRATION SYSTEM

A non-transitory computer readable medium with an executable revision history integration program for causing at least one computer executes: a procedure for acquiring data on at least one document having at least one editing history including a name of an editor of the document; a procedure for collectively converting at least one name of an editor included in the editing history in the acquired data; and a procedure for deleting addition and deletion histories where a character string in the acquired data has been added and deleted by the same editor's name, as a result of the conversion of the name of the editor.

Server to support client data models from heterogeneous data sources

Network elements are managed with a server to support client data models from heterogeneous data sources. A server receives a first query for configuration data of a network element to be returned in a first model. The server determines a model type for the configuration data of the network element. When the model type is a second model that is not the first model, the server sends a second query to the network element for the configuration data to be returned in the second model and transforms the configuration data received from the network element into the first model. Additionally, the server returns the configuration data in the first model as a response to the first query.

RESOURCE GRAPHS FOR INHERENT AND DERIVED RESOURCE ATTRIBUTES

A facility for creating resource graphs based on inherent and derived resource attributes is configured to assist domain experts in the processing and analyses of resource data. The facility obtains input indicating inherent resource attributes and relationships to other the resource attributes. The facility identifies derived resource attributes based on the inherent resource attributes and the relationships to other resource attributes. The facility generates a resource graph based on the derived resource attributes, inherent resource attributes, and the relationships. The facility obtains attributed data from a repository of resource attribute data and evaluates the resource data based on the resource graph and attribute data.

Tracking change data in a database

Methods and systems are disclosed for tracking change data in a database. A database, stored at a computer system, is accessed with a plurality of data written to fields in the database, wherein each data in the fields comprises a record header. Data is changed in at least one field of the plurality of data in the database via the computer system, wherein the changing the data changes the record header for the at least one field. A transaction identification (ID) is stored in the record header for each change to the at least one field. A flag is created in the record header signaling the change to the at least one field. Successive versions of the database are linked together such that a subscriber accessing the database can automatically view a current version of the database with the change by accessing the record header and identifying the flag.

METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR GAMIFICATION OF AGGREGATED DATA

A method for aggregating data to facilitate gamification of employee contributions is provided. The method includes compiling, via an application programming interface, raw data from a source, the raw data including employee contribution data, employee achievement data, and employee engagement data; mapping the compiled raw data based on a predetermined guideline; generating a structured data set based on a result of the mapping; identifying a user record from the structured data set; determining a characteristic for the identified user record; and updating a user profile that corresponds to the identified user record with information relating to the determined characteristic.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR EFFICIENTLY VALIDATING TIME-SERIES DATA USING A HASH-BASED REPRESENTATION OF THE DATA
20230025331 · 2023-01-26 ·

An apparatus includes a memory and a processor. The memory stores a time-series of data sets, and a first version of a data structure generated from the time-series as it existed at a first time. The data structure includes a terminal node that stores a compressed representation of the time-series and a bottom level of nodes, each of which stores a hash of a data set of the time-series. The processor generates a second version of the data structure based on the time-series as it exists at a second time. The processor determines that the data stored by the terminal nodes in the first and second versions do not match. In response, the processor identifies a bottom level node for which the stored data in the first and second versions do not match, and requests validation. The processor receives a response indicating whether an intentional change was made.

PDSE member generation clustering and recovery

A method for enabling data set changes to be reverted to a prior point in time or state is disclosed. In one embodiment, such a method includes providing a data set comprising one or more data elements and a specified number of generations of the data elements. In certain embodiments, the data set is a partitioned data set extended (PDSE) data set, and the data elements are “members” within the PDSE data set. The method further includes tracking changes made by a job to data elements of the data set. The method further references, in a data structure (also referred to herein as a “cluster”) associated with the job, previous generations of the data elements changed by the job. In certain embodiments, the data structure is stored in the data set. A corresponding system and computer program product are also disclosed.
