Multi-level architecture of pattern recognition in biological data

Methods, systems and apparatus for detecting patterns in constituents of at least one biological organism are disclosed. In accordance with one method, clusters of the constituents are determined by selecting different subsets of at least one of genes or proteins and identifying the clusters from biological data corresponding to the selected subsets. Here, membership values for the constituents, indicating membership within the clusters, are calculated for use as a basis of an additional cluster determination process to obtain final clusters of constituents. By underpinning the preliminary clustering on different subsets of biological data and formulating the higher-level clustering on the basis of the membership values, the embodiments can enable an evaluation of a large variety of biological data in a practical, accurate and highly efficient manner.

Methods and systems for data structure optimization

Methods and systems for optimizing a data structure are disclosed. An example method can comprise categorizing, based on travel information associated with a vehicle, locations according to at least one of a first category and a second category. An example method can comprise generating search criteria configured to select first data for locations categorized with the first category and second data for locations categorized with the second category. The first data can be more detailed than the second data. An example method can comprise receiving information based on the search criteria and providing the information to the vehicle.

Method and Query Optimization Server for Associating Functions with Columns for Optimizing Query Execution
20180011901 · 2018-01-11 ·

A method of optimizing query execution by associating functions with columns includes receiving, by a query optimization server, data definition statement including information of one or more columns and function information for each of the one or more columns. The query optimization server associates the columns having the function information with corresponding predefined functions and stores in a memory. Upon receiving a query comprising a function associated to a column, the query optimization server compares the function with predefined functions stored in the memory. The query optimization server accesses the predefined function from the memory for executing the query based on the comparison.

COMPUTER DATA SYSTEM DATA SOURCE REFRESHING USING AN UPDATE PROPAGATION GRAPH

Described are methods, systems and computer readable media for data source refreshing.

PLATFORM-BASED DATA SEGREGATION

A system includes reception of a first query at a first host, determination, at the first host, that the first query is associated with a first table, the first table including geographically-restricted data and a partitioning column storing identifiers of geographic restrictions, determination, at the first host and based on the partitioning column of the first table and on the first query, a first partition of the first table and a storage location of the first partition, and execution of the first query at the first host in conjunction with the storage location of the first partition.

Dynamically identifying and associating disparate records

Methods, computer readable media, and devices for dynamically identifying and associating disparate records are disclosed. One method may include receiving a first set of association criteria, identifying a first source object and a first target object based on the first set of association criteria, creating a first association object indicating an association between the first source object and the first target object, storing the first association object, receiving a second set of association criteria, identifying a second source object and a second target object based on the second set of association criteria, and creating a second association object.

COLUMN PROTECTION

Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer program products, are provided for configuring access controls to a database. In one aspect there is provided a method. The method may include receiving, from a first user, a table declaration for creating a database table in a database; generating, based on the table declaration, the database table; receiving, from the first user, a specification of one or more access mechanisms that have a privilege to access the database table; receiving a designation of at least one column in the database table as a protected column and one or more users who have a privilege to access the content of the protected column; and providing control over access to the content of the protected column based at least in part on the specification of the one or more access mechanisms and the designation of the at least one column and the second user.

Managing concurrent transactions in database systems

The subject technology receives a first transaction, the first transaction to be executed on linearizable storage. The subject technology assigns, prior to performing a read operation, a first read version to the first transaction, the first read version indicating a first version of the linearizable storage, the first read version corresponding to a particular timestamp of a current time. The subject technology performs the read operation from the first transaction on a table in a database. The subject technology determines a first commit version identifier corresponding to first data resulting from the read operation. The subject technology proceeds to perform a particular write operation from the first transaction. The subject technology determines that the first commit version identifier fails to match a second commit version identifier corresponding to a second transaction. The subject technology aborts the particular write operation from the first transaction.

SYSTEM AND METHODS FOR DEFINING OBJECT MEMORY FORMAT IN MEMORY AND STORE FOR OBJECT INTERACTIONS, MANIPULATION, AND EXCHANGE IN DISTRIBUTED NETWORK DEVICES

Systems and methods of the present disclosure are directed to defining a data store format for storing state information related to border-gateway protocol (BGP) routing information base (RIB) entries, BGP Neighbor Tables, intermediate system-intermediate system (IS-IS) adjacencies, Link-State Databases, Interface information, Chassis information, etc in a binary format. A brick data store (BDS) system can define tables, table properties, objects and attributes for an application in the system using configuration files expressed in Java Script Object Notation (JSON). The data format can be uniform across inter-process communication, file and in-memory representation.
