Methods and devices for fixed extrapolation error data simplification processes for telematics
Methods and devices for simplifying data collected from assets are provided. An example method involves obtaining raw data from a data source at an asset, determining that a data logging trigger is satisfied by determining that a recently obtained point in the raw data differs from a corresponding predicted point predicted by extrapolation based on previously saved points included in one or more previously generated simplified sets of data by an amount of extrapolation error that is limited by an upper bound that is fixed as the raw data is collected over time, and, when the data logging trigger is satisfied, performing a dataset simplification algorithm on the raw data to generate a simplified set of data.
Custodian disambiguation and data matching
Provided is a technique for matching different user representations of a person in a plurality of computer systems may be provided. The technique includes collecting information sets about user representations from a plurality of computer systems; normalizing the information sets to a unified format; grouping the information sets in the unified format into indexing buckets based on a user name using a non-phonetic algorithm; determining a similarity score for each pair of information sets in each of the indexing buckets; classifying each information set pair into a set of classes based on the similarity scores, wherein the set of classes comprise at least matches and non-matches; and using a data structure for merging information of information set pairs classified as matches.
Master data substitution
A method, a system, and a computer program product for execution master data substitution. One or more first data objects in a master data storage are determined for replacement. One or more second data objects are identified for replacing the first data objects for storage in the master data storage. Replacement of the first data objects with the second data objects is performed in accordance with one or more data object requirements. Replacement of the first data objects by the second data objects is executed in accordance with the one or more data object requirements. A resulting replacement data set is generated and stored.
MANAGING TEST DATA IN LARGE SCALE PERFORMANCE ENVIRONMENT
A method of processing a database can include comparing, using a processor, a delta file with a risk assessment criterion, wherein the delta file is generated from a first schema and a second and different schema, assigning a risk level to a change specified within the delta file according to the comparing, and applying the change of the delta file to a test database conforming to the first schema according to the assigned risk level.
TRANSACTION ORDERING
Nodes of a database service may receive a read request to perform a read of a record stored by the database service and a transaction request to perform a transaction to the record. First and second indications of time may be associated with the read and transaction, respectively. A potential read anomaly (e.g., fuzzy read, read skew, etc.) may be detected based, at least in part, on a determination that the first indication of time is within a threshold value of the second indication of time. In response to detecting the potential read anomaly, the read may be performed after the transaction specified by the transaction request, regardless of whether the first indication of time is indicative of an earlier point in time than the second indication of time.
READ ONLY BUFFERPOOL
Example implementations disclosed herein include techniques for a ready only bufferpool for use in local nodes of a multi-node computing system. Read only transactions executed by a processor can reference a ready only bufferpool resident in a VRAM on the same node. If the desired data page is in the bufferpool the transaction can immediately read data records from the cached data pages. If the desired data page is not in the bufferpool, then the transaction can cause a copy of a corresponding data page in a secondary memory to be installed in the bufferpool. The bufferpool can include more than one copy of a data page simultaneously to handle and prevent cache line misses. Data page are dropped from the bufferpool based on an incrementing per data page counter.
SEMANTIC DATABASE DRIVEN FORM VALIDATION
Embodiments of the present invention provide a means for validating electronic forms using one or more semantic databases. The invention includes processing an electronic form into individual elements and generating entities for the individual elements. The closest matching ontology is found for each entity and the pairings are grouped into a general formal ontology tree. The entities in the general formal ontology tree are traversed using generated rules. This analysis yields validation results that are combined with the original form to create an annotated form.
SYSTEM PERFORMANCE LOGGING OF COMPLEX REMOTE QUERY PROCESSOR QUERY OPERATIONS
Described are methods, systems and computer readable media for performance logging of complex query operations.
ITERATIVE MAP LEARNING BASED ON VEHICLE ON-BOARD SENSOR DATA
Methods, apparatuses, systems, and computer program products are provided. An example method comprises receiving a change trigger; and providing two or more map versions to a plurality of vehicle apparatuses. The map versions may comprise a stable map version and a changed map version. The example method further comprises receiving two or more responses from at least two of the plurality of vehicle apparatuses. A response comprises an indicator of a preferred map version selected by a vehicle apparatus of the plurality of vehicle apparatuses from the two or more map versions. The example method further comprises analyzing the responses to determine a most preferred map version; and when it is determined that the most preferred map version is a changed map version, updating one or more map databases based at least in part on the changed map version.
SYNCHRONIZATION OF CLIENT MACHINES WITH A CONTENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM REPOSITORY
A synchronization queuing service associated with a content management system repository can record file events occurring to content items maintained at the content management system repository. The synchronization queuing service can receive a file synchronization request for information identifying a content item to which a client machine is subscribed. The synchronization queuing service can determine consistency or inconsistency of a client machine state of the content item relative to the content item at the content management system repository and can respond to client machine with a file event summary comprising information usable by the client machine to identify actions necessary to synchronize the client machine state of the content item the content item.
