Synthesizing disparate database entries for hardware component identification

A device retrieves historical data and new data each a respective hardware component identifier and a respective associated value. The device creates a synthesized set of data by having subsets for anomalous data, data that is associated with an attenuation signal, and other data. The device discards the anomalous data and weights the data associated with an attenuation signal. The device generates a searchable database, the searchable database including each hardware component named by an entry of the synthesized set of data, along with an associated value determined based on the weighted value of the entry. The device receives user input of a search query, and outputs search results based on a comparison of the user input of the search query to entries of the searchable database.

Micro-partitioning based search

Devices and techniques are generally described for search using a micro-partitioned catalog. In some examples, a search system can determine a plurality of items in an online catalog. The search system can generate a similarity graph based on vector representations of the plurality of items and determine an item as a representative item for a cluster of items. The search system can receive a query and determine the cluster of items as a candidate cluster based on a comparison between the query and the representative item. The search system can determine a candidate item of the cluster of items based on a comparison between the query and the cluster of items.

METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR MANAGING DATA

Systems and methods for managing data, such as metadata. In one exemplary method, metadata from files created by several different software applications are captured, and the captured metadata is searched. The type of information in metadata for one type of file differs from the type of information in metadata for another type of file. Other methods are described and data processing systems and machine readable media are also described.

AGGREGATION FRAMEWORK SYSTEM ARCHITECTURE AND METHOD

Database systems and methods that implement a data aggregation framework are provided. The framework can be configured to optimize aggregate operations over non-relational distributed databases, including, for example, data access, data retrieval, data writes, indexing, etc. Various embodiments are configured to aggregate multiple operations and/or commands, where the results (e.g., database documents and computations) captured from the distributed database are transformed as they pass through an aggregation operation. The aggregation operation can be defined as a pipeline which enables the results from a first operation to be redirected into the input of a subsequent operation, which output can be redirected into further subsequent operations. Computations may also be executed at each stage of the pipeline, where each result at each stage can be evaluated by the computation to return a result. Execution of the pipeline can be optimized based on data dependencies and re-ordering of the pipeline operations.

GENERATING AND STORING SUMMARIZATION TABLES FOR SEARCHABLE EVENTS

Embodiments are directed are towards the transparent summarization of events. Queries directed towards summarizing and reporting on event records may be received at a search head. Search heads may be associated with one more indexers containing event records. The search head may forward the query to the indexers the can resolve the query for concurrent execution. If a query is a collection query, indexers may generate summarization information based on event records located on the indexers. Event record fields included in the summarization information may be determined based on terms included in the collection query. If a query is a stats query, each indexer may generate a partial result set from previously generated summarization information, returning the partial result sets to the search head. Collection queries may be saved and scheduled to run and periodically update the summarization information.

System and Method for Automatically Selecting Images to Accompany Text

A system for selecting an image to accompany text from a user in connection with a social media post. The system is capable of receiving text from the user, identifying one or more search terms based on the text, identifying candidate images from images in one or more image databases using the search terms, presenting one or more candidate images to the user, receiving from the user a selected image from the one or more candidate images, generating the social media post comprising the selected image and the user-submitted text, and transmitting the social media post for display.

INFORMATION VIEWING SYSTEM

An information viewing system that allows a viewer to efficiently display its desired posted article by a simple operation. According to the present invention, a front server includes an information page creating unit that creates a plurality of hierarchical information pages and search result pages, using data items stored in the information database, a posted page creating unit that extracts from the posted article database, a posted article associated with an information page displayed on the communication terminal and a posted article associated with a lower-order information page of the information page displayed, to create a posted page corresponding to the information page displayed, and a communication processing unit that sends the information page and the posted page to the communication terminal to display therein.

AN AUTOMATICALLY INVOKED UNIFIED VISUALIZATION INTERFACE

A unified visualization interface is disclosed. One example is a system including an association module, a multicasting module, a data sharing module, and a unified visualization interface. The association module associates an identified event in a first visualization system with a visualization function. The multicasting module stores event data related to the identified event and the associated visualization function in a shared data source, and multicasts the identified event to a second visualization system. The data sharing module associates the event data with characteristics of the first visualization system, and shares, in response to the multicast of the identified event, the shared data source with the second visualization system. The unified visualization interface automatically invokes, without software changes, the second visualization system in response to the multicast of the identified event, the invoking based on the shared data source including the characteristics of the first visualization system.

ITERATIVE VISUALIZATION OF A COHORT FOR WEIGHTED HIGH-DIMENSIONAL CATEGORICAL DATA

Visualization of a cohort for high-dimensional categorical data is disclosed. One example is a system including a display module to identify real-time selection of a query data element in an interactive visual representation of high-dimensional categorical data elements comprising a plurality of categorical components. A matrix generator generates a binary distance matrix with columns representing categorical components, and entries in a row indicative of a degree of similarity of respective categorical components of the selected query data element to a data element represented by the row, and determines a category weighting matrix by associating a weight with entries in each column of the binary distance matrix. An evaluator evaluates a weighted similarity score for a data element represented by a row of the category weighting matrix based on entries of the row. A selector iteratively and interactively selects, based on weighted similarity scores, a cohort of categorical data elements.
