Hybrid Runtime Data Object Preventing Intermingling of Data of Different Entities in a Multi-Tenant Environment

Methods, systems, devices, and tangible non-transitory computer readable media facilitating runtime reporting across multiple entities using a multi-tenant database including data of the multiple entities without intermingling the data. In an example embodiment, at a reporting runtime, the disclosed technology can: execute a hybrid class to generate a hybrid runtime data object that can include location-specific reporting data that can correspond to multiple entities and multiple reporting locations; evaluate, with respect to a certain reporting location, a mapping file of the hybrid class to determine whether to retrieve a reporting value of a reporting data field from a first data object corresponding to a first entity or from a second data object corresponding to a second entity; and/or access the first data object or the second data object to retrieve the reporting value based at least in part on evaluation of the mapping file.

Service monitoring interface with an aggregate key performance indicator of a service and aspect key performance indicators of aspects of the service

A method is disclosed that includes receiving a request to display a service-monitoring user interface that illustrates performance of one or more services that are each provided by one or more entities. Each service is associated with a stored service definition that identifies the one or more entities, and each entity is associated with stored entity definition information that identifies machine data produced by or about the entity from one or more sources. The method further includes causing display of the service-monitoring user interface illustrating performance of each service via an aggregate key performance indicator (KPI) that characterizes a respective service as a whole, and a plurality of aspect KPIs that each characterize an aspect of an associated service. Each KPI is defined by a search query that produces a value derived from the machine data identified by the entity definition information, the value indicative of a measure of the service at a point in time or during a period of time. The machine data is produced by one or more components within an information technology environment and reflects activity within the information technology environment.

Feedback loop content recommendation

Media content may be recommended based on feedback weightings. Input data describing the presentation of a media content items in association with content management accounts may be represented as data points. Each data point may identify feedback data for a media content item previously recommended for presentation in association with a content management account. The feedback data may identify a viewer reaction to the recommended media content item. A weighting factor based on the feedback data for the media content item presented in association with the content management account may be applied to produce a recommendation.

A method may include updating database posting logic to obtain an updated database posting logic that, during a posting process to a database, adds a data field to a new line item being posted via the posting process. The method may further include receiving information from a data provider. The method may further include posting, using the updated database posting logic, the information to the database as a line item including various fields including the data field. The method may further include receiving a request to generate a transactional report. The method may further include using the data field to identify the line item. The method may further include generating the transactional report using the line item.

Shear thickening fluid enabled object movement control mechanism

A head unit device for controlling motion of an object includes shear thickening fluid (STF) and a chamber configured to contain a portion of the STF. The chamber further includes a piston compartment and an auxiliary compartment. The head unit device further includes an auxiliary bypass configured within the chamber, and a piston housed at least partially radially within the piston compartment. The chamber further includes a set of fluid flow sensors and a set of fluid manipulation emitters to control the auxiliary bypass to adjust the STF flow between the piston compartment and the auxiliary compartment to cause selection of one of a first range of shear rates or a second range of shear rates for the STF within the piston compartment.

Systems, methods, and instrumentalities are disclosed for switching a control scheme to control a set of system modules and/or modular devices of a surgical hub. A surgical hub may determine a first control scheme that is configured to control a set of system modules and/or modular devices. The surgical hub may receive an input from one of the set of modules or a device located in an OR. The surgical hub may make a determination that at least one of a safety status level or an overload status level of the surgical hub is higher than its threshold value. Based on at least the received input and the determination, the surgical hub may determine a second control scheme to be used to control the set of system modules. The surgical hub may send a control program indicating the second control scheme to one or more system modules and/or modular devices.

CLIENT DEVICES AND DATA STORAGE SERVER FOR SELECTIVE STORING OF DATA

A client device for storing a data set in a database is provided. The data set includes a plurality of initial data elements. The client device is configured to determine a storage location of the database for each initial data element and to obtain storage location configuration information based on the storage location. The client device is further configured to process, based on the storage location configuration information, each initial data element of a first subset of the plurality of initial data elements into a processed data element using one or more data processing operations and to transmit a modified data set to a data storage server for storing the modified data set in the database, wherein the modified data set comprises the processed data elements in the first subset and unprocessed initial data elements in a second subset which is complementary to the first subset.

Methods, Systems and Computer Program Products for Handling Data Records Using an Application Programming Interface (API) and Directory Management System

An application programming interface (API) resident on a computer is provided that, upon receiving a message that a data set associated with an encounter experienced by a subject is available, causes a processor to read a structured file associated with the data set, the structured file having a set of records assigned to a subset of pre-defined fields and a location of one or more unstructured objects, the pre-defined fields being organized according to an ontology having at least records related to the subject, the encounter and the data set; and populate at least first and second independent and distinct relational databases using endpoints of the API. The first relational database excludes records associated with the subject and the encounter and the second relational database includes records associated with the subject and the encounter. The second relational database includes multiple tables that can be accessed by invoking the API.

Query implementation using synthetic time series

Techniques described herein perform implement a query using a synthetic time series (STS), for example applying an STS on time series data to obtain an answer to the query. In an embodiment, a method receives a times series and query relating to the time series. The method translates the query into a synthetic time series. The method executes a reduce operation on the STS and the time series. The method then returns the result of the operation as an answer to the query. A result of the reduce operation is returned as an answer to the query.

In a database environment including a plurality of logical object definitions having relationships defined according to a schema, and logical object instances following the logical object definitions include attribute names and respective attribute values indicating status of an enterprise in an enterprise resource planning system, the method can receive a starting exception definition specifying a first query against the logical object instances and derive a new exception definition based on the starting exception definition and one or more stored, acted-upon exception definition proposals. The first query can include one or more initial situational trigger conditions. The new exception definition can specify a second query against the logical object instances and the second query can include one or more modified situational trigger conditions.
