The information retrieval system comprises a device and a database. The database is configured to store at least one syntactic search index data structure and at least one semantic search index data structure. The syntactic search index data structure is configured to index and store in the database a plurality of terms from the corpus of data objects along with syntactic annotations indicating syntactic information. The at least one semantic search index data structure is configured to index and store in the database the plurality of terms from the corpus of data objects along with semantic annotations indicating semantic information. The device comprises an input unit, a processing unit, and an output unit. The input unit is configured to receive a syntactic query and a semantic query. The processing unit is configured to match the syntactic query against the syntactic search index data structure to obtain a first set of data objects, each of which has a set of terms that are syntactically related to the syntactic query. The processing is configured to match the semantic query against The at least one semantic search index data structure to obtain second set of the data objects, each of which has a set of terms that are semantically related to the semantic query, wherein the second set of data objects is a sub-set of the first set of the data objects. The output unit is configured to output information of the second set of data objects.
Searchable data structure for electronic documents
A method includes obtaining, at a device, a hierarchical structure representing a graphical layout of content items of an electronic document, the content items including at least text. The method also includes generating a word embedding representing a word of the electronic document. The method further includes determining position information of a location of the word in the electronic document. The method also includes determining a descriptor that indicates a relationship of the location to the hierarchical structure. The method further includes providing input data to a machine learning model to generate a semantic region category label of a semantic region of the electronic document. The semantic region includes the word. The input data includes the word embedding, the position information, and the descriptor.
Priming Generative AI Model Leveraging Directed Acyclic Graph-Driven Notebook Environment
An application receives a natural language query from a user into a cell of a notebook environment and responsively determines a set of precedent cells and a profile of the user. The application determines a portion of the data warehouse graph that corresponds to the natural language query. The application primes the large language model with priming context that is based on the portion of the data warehouse graph that corresponds to the natural language query, the precedent cells from which the code cell depends, and the profile of the user, the priming resulting in a primed large language model. The application inputs the natural language query into the primed large language model and receives, as output from the large language model, a response to the natural language query. The application provides the response to the natural language query to the user.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR BUILDING A SEARCH SERVICE APPLICATION
A system for providing a search service is disclosed and includes a processor-based search service application builder component that provides a search model representing a search service application for a first object of a plurality of objects. The search model is based at least on a user-defined end-user input field corresponding to a first attribute of a plurality of attributes associated with the first object and a user-defined search result output field corresponding to a second attribute of the plurality of attributes. The search model is also associated with a backend data store that supports a storage structure configured to store information relating to the first object. The system also includes a processor-based deployment engine that automatically configures a search engine system associated with the backend data store system to generate and/or update search index(es) based on at least one of the first attribute and the second attribute.

Data set discovery engine comprising relativistic retriever
An apparatus in one embodiment comprises a processing platform implementing a data set discovery engine. The data set discovery engine comprises a data set indexer configured to generate similarity indexes for a plurality of data sets, and a relativistic retriever coupled to the data set indexer and configured to obtain a suitability template for a query and to execute the query against one or more of the similarity indexes based at least in part on the suitability template. A given one of the similarity indexes comprises at least first and second auxiliary information generated from respective ones of at least first and second different similarity measures of a plurality of different similarity measures. The first and second similarity measures comprise selected ones of the plurality of different similarity measures that are supported by the data set discovery engine with the supported similarity measures comprising both frequency-based and non-frequency-based similarity measures.
Storage and retrieval of data from a bit vector search index
The technology described herein provides for storing and retrieving data in a bit vector search index. The bit vector search index stores data about terms from documents using bit vectors. Each bit vector comprises an array of bits and corresponds to a different set of terms. Each bit in the bit vector is used to represent whether a document includes at least one term from the set of terms. A band table is used to store bit vector configurations for bands of terms having similar term characteristics. Each term is indexed in the bit vector search index according to a bit vector configuration for a band to which it belongs. When identifying bit vector storage locations for terms, explicit mappings are used for some terms and ad hoc approaches used for other terms. Explicit mappings provide specific locations for terms, while ad hoc approaches use mapping algorithms assigned to bands.
Method and system for configuration management of hierarchically-organized unstructured data using associative templates
Various systems, methods, and computer program products are disclosed for performing configuration management functionality on hierarchically-organized unstructured data using associative templates. Such methods, computer program products, and computer systems include identifying a node in the associative template and setting a configuration parameter to a parameter value, based on a template association. The node in the associative template is a node in a hierarchy of an associative template. The identifying indicates a template association between the node in the associative template and a node in a hierarchy of hierarchically-organized unstructured data (HOUD). The parameter value is maintained in the node in the associative template, and the node comprises the configuration parameter.
