The present disclosure provides a device binding method and apparatus, and an electronic device. The method includes: sending, by a first application program executing a first protocol, a query instruction to a target device, the query instruction being used to query a first device identifier of the target device in a second protocol; receiving, by the first application program, the first device identifier sent by the target device; and providing, by the first application program, the first device identifier, to enable a second application program executing the second protocol to bind a login account of the second application program to the target device based on the first device identifier.

Beverage Brewing System and Method
A beverage brewing device including a scanner to scan codes attached to a container of a beverage solid, and then provides brewing parameters such as temperature and time to a brewing system. The code used may be a UPC code or a custom code. A user of the brewing device can scan the identifiable code, and either obtain brewing parameters from the code or use the code to access brewing parameters from a database. The brewing parameters are then used by the brewing device to brew the beverage. The brewing parameters may be stored locally for the next use. The method scans the code, obtains the brewing parameters and instructs the brewing of a beverage.

Implementations of a system, method and apparatus described herein receive, for a configuration item in a configuration management database, status indicating an operational state and an automation state associated with the configuration item, and determine whether a conflict will occur with at least one of the operational state or the automation state of the configuration item as a result of a process affecting the configuration item. When the conflict will not occur, a change is made to at least one of the operational state or the automation state of the configuration item in accordance with the process. Upon a conclusion of the process, the change is removed. If the conflict will occur, the process not allowed to continue.

Document classification techniques are disclosed that convert text content extracted from documents into graphical images and apply image classification techniques to the images. A graphical image of the text (such as a bar-code) may be generated and applied to improve the performance of document classification, bypassing NLP and utilizing more efficient localized OCR than in conventional approaches.

According to one method, information is input from a mobile device about a specimen sample. The information includes an image of the specimen sample captured using the mobile device including an identifying indicia. The information is uploaded and stored in an encrypted format accessible to authorized and verified users. At least one characteristic of the specimen sample is determined based on the information. Tracking and status information, as well as notifications or reminders, regarding the specimen sample are provided in real-time or near real-time to the mobile device.
Customizing a data discovery user interface based on artificial intelligence
A method includes receiving a first set of documents that correspond to data discovery documents. The method further includes generating a map of terms and words based on the first set of documents, the map of terms and words corresponding to concepts. The method further includes receiving from a first user an initial document relating to a data discovery issue. The method further includes requesting the user to provide an identification of at least one of an initial name of a first person, an initial date, and an initial keyword related to the legal issue. The method further includes generating at least one of a similar name of a second person, a similar date, and a similar keyword based on the map of terms and words. The method further includes identifying a review document based on the review document including at least one of the similar name of the second person, the similar date, and the similar keyword.
