Information processing apparatus, and information processing method

An information processing apparatus including processing circuitry configured to acquire a base group that is a set of documents concerning a prescribed intellectual property right based on a prescribed search query and evaluate, for each document included in the base group, a value that is calculated based on a parameter concerning the document and a first weight linked to patenting of the document, as a first index indicating a relative strength of right of the document in the base group.

Method for determining academic impact, medium, and electronic device

A method for determining an academic impact, including: pre-processing a citing paper to obtain pre-processed data; determining a category of an impact, on the citing paper, of each reference paper and ranking of contribution, to the citing paper, of each reference paper, according to the pre-processed data; determining a local influential factor, on the citing paper, of each reference paper, according to the category of the impact and the ranking of the contribution of each reference paper; and determining a global influential factor of each reference paper according to a global influential factor of the citing paper and the local influential factor.

Systems and methods for generating a two-dimensional graphical grid representation of the treatment of a document

Systems and methods for generating a two-dimensional graphical grid representation of the treatment of a document are disclosed. A method includes receiving a request to generate the two-dimensional graphical grid representation of the treatment of the document with respect to at least one variable. In response to the received request, the method further includes retrieving, by a computer, treatment information associated with the document with respect to the at least one variable from a database. The method further includes generating a message containing the retrieved treatment information of the document with respect to the at least one variable, transmitting the generated message, and providing for display the two-dimensional graphical grid representation of the treatment of the document with respect to the at least one variable based on the transmitted message.

Search of sources and targets based on relative expertise of the sources

A new approach is proposed that contemplates systems and methods to provide a ranking of cited objects and citing subjects identified as results of a search, where the relative expertise of subjects or sources of citations to said targets or objects is considered. The relative expertise is a function of the share of the subject's citations matching the query term or search criteria relative to the share of all subjects' citations matching the query term, weighted by the influence of the subjects. This allows the identification of experts on topics without any pre-defined categorization of topics or pre-computation of expertise. Under this novel approach, expertise can be determined on any query term in real-time.

Artificial intelligence expert system for anomaly detection

An artificial intelligence expert system detects an anomaly between an application and a publication provided by an applicant in a given class. The system calculates an application score then uses a decision tree to determine a publication score based on the presence or absence of tokens in the publication. An anomaly is detected when the ratio of the application score to the publication score is greater than a threshold value. The decision tree is trained using prior applications in the same class. The publication score of each leaf node of the decision tree is set equal to an average application score of the prior applications associated with the leaf node.

System and method for citation processing presentation, and transport

The present invention comprises a system and method for automatically processing one or more citations contained within a document while the document is presented by a document rendering application. The method of the present invention comprises scanning the document to identify an unformatted citation and parsing the unformatted citation to determine one or more citation terms. One or more citation libraries are queried to find citations comprising the one or more citation terms. A citation falling within the scope of the query is selected and inserted into the document.

System and method for indexing and displaying document text that has been subsequently quoted

A computerized system and method is presented for analyzing quotations made in a quoting document of text originally found in a source document. The quoting document and source document can be web pages publicly available on the World Wide Web. The present invention analyzes the quoting document for quoted text, searches the source document for that text, and stores the existence of the quotation in association with the source document. When displaying the source document, quoted text is highlighted. A link is provided between items of quoted text and a list of documents that have quoted that text. From this list the full text of a quoting document may be displayed.

Systems and methods for providing for display a map that graphically represents the association among documents

Systems and methods for providing for display a map that graphically represents the association among documents are disclosed. A method for providing for display a map that graphically represents the association between a first document and a second document that analyzes the first document includes receiving, at a computer, a request to generate the map. The method further includes retrieving, from a database, analysis information related to the way in which the second document analyzed the first document, in response to the received request. The method further includes providing for display the map. The map includes a first node, a second node, and a connector. The first node corresponds to the first document. The second node corresponds to the second document. The connector graphically links the first node and the second node. The second node includes a graphical representation of the analysis information.

ENHANCED GENERATION OF FORMATTED AND ORGANIZED GUIDES FROM UNSTRUCTURED SPOKEN NARRATIVE USING LARGE LANGUAGE MODELS

The disclosed techniques provide enhanced generation of formatted and organized guides from unstructured spoken narrative using a large language model. A system uses unstructured verbal narrative as input in place of written input. The system uses a large language model to organize an unstructured narrative into a structured guide that follows specific formatting requirements. For example, the formatting requirements may define specific headers, steps, bullets, image locations, etc. The formatting requirements may also define category requirements. For example, category requirements may indicate that a structured guide is to include a title, topics for each header, etc. The system can also suggest new categories, relevant explanations, additional image locations, and other references the author may not have considered. The process is automated, resulting in a complete guide having a consistent structure in a particular format.

Citation network analytics

The present disclosure is directed towards systems and methods for linking documents that refer to other documents through implicit linkages. A first document is identified. The first document comprises an authoritative comment regarding a second document and has been explicitly linked to the second document. Then, one or more third documents are identified. The second document cites or is being cited by the one or more third documents and shares common information. Based upon the authoritative comment, the first document is implicitly linked to the one or more third documents via the common information.
