Secure fast channel change
Techniques for secure fast channel change in live content streaming are described. In some embodiments, during content preparation, a packager and/or an encoder encrypts media content items at both the service level (e.g., by encrypting a first portion of the plurality of segments with a service level access key unique to a service) and the channel level (e.g., by encrypting a second portion of the plurality of segments with a channel level access key unique to a channel associated with the service). On the receiving end, a client device (e.g., a media player) requests a service level access key prior to content acquisition. As such, a client can join any channel on a segment protected with the service level key without waiting for a license for that channel first, and the channel license can be acquired in parallel with the content acquisition during channel switching.

A multimedia interaction method, apparatus, a device, and a medium are provided. The method includes: receiving a triggering operation of a user for a subtitle interaction aggregation identifier on a multimedia display interface, where the multimedia display interface displays a multimedia, a subtitle content for the multimedia, and the subtitle interaction aggregation identifier; and displaying at least one subtitle interaction content corresponding to the subtitle interaction aggregation identifier, where the subtitle interaction content indicates an interaction content for the subtitle content. With the technical solution, since the subtitle interaction aggregation identifier is an aggregated representation of multiple subtitle interaction contents, multiple subtitle interaction contents for the subtitle content of the multimedia may be displayed quickly by a triggering based on the subtitle interaction aggregation identifier, which improves display efficiency for the subtitle interaction content.

Transferring playback from a mobile device to a playback device
A first connection state may be entered on a computing device. While the computing device is in the first connection state, actions taken on a playlist on the computing device may be applied to the playlist and not applied to a playback queue associated with a zone. An input may be received via the computing device, indicating a selection of the zone. In response to receiving the input, a second connection state may be entered. Entering the second connection state may comprise establishing a connected state between the computing device and the one or more playback devices. While the connected state is established, one or more actions taken on the playlist on the computing device may be applied to the playlist and transmitted, in a message to the zone over a network. The one or more actions may be one or more corresponding actions applied to the playback queue.

PLAYLIST PROGRAMMING
Systems, device and techniques are disclosed for receiving a request from a user to add a media item to a playlist at a certain playlist position where the media items in the playlist are provided to other users in a media group. Based on a determination that the requesting user has rights to the requested media item, the requested media item may be added to the playlist at the position. When the playlist reaches the position, the user that added the media item to the playlist may be provided with a first version of the media item and the other users in the group may be provided with a second version of the media item. If the user that requested the item to be added to the playlist is determined not to have rights to the media item, the item is added to a position different than the requested position.
