PLAYLIST PROGRAMMING
Systems, device and techniques are disclosed for receiving a request from a user to add a media item to a playlist at a certain playlist position where the media items in the playlist are provided to other users in a media group. Based on a determination that the requesting user has rights to the requested media item, the requested media item may be added to the playlist at the position. When the playlist reaches the position, the user that added the media item to the playlist may be provided with a first version of the media item and the other users in the group may be provided with a second version of the media item. If the user that requested the item to be added to the playlist is determined not to have rights to the media item, the item is added to a position different than the requested position.
Systems and methods for displaying a context image for a multimedia asset
Systems and methods for displaying a context image for a multimedia asset are disclosed. In one embodiment, a system includes a programmable processor, and a display device. In some embodiments, the programmable processor is configured to identify a first multimedia asset being broadcast in a region, determine and retrieve a first context image associated with the first multimedia asset, and direct the display device to display the first context image during the broadcast of the first multimedia asset.

MULTIMEDIA FILE STORAGE AND ACCESS METHOD
The present disclosure describes techniques of storing and accessing multimedia files. The techniques comprise obtaining at least two multimedia files; performing format parsing for each of the at least two multimedia files separately to obtain audio encoding data, video encoding data, and container format data of each of the at least two multimedia files; storing the container format data of each of the at least two multimedia files separately, and storing one copy of the audio encoding data and video encoding data; and generating and storing index data comprising information of identifying encoding offset of the container format data, the audio encoding data, and the video encoding data in each of the at least two multimedia files, and comprising information indicative of storage address of the container format data, the audio encoding data, and the video encoding data of each of the at least two multimedia files.

Cross-platform content muting
Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, facilitate cross-platform content muting. Methods include detecting a request from a user to remove, from a user interface, a media item that is provided by a first content source and presented on a first platform. One or more tags that represent the media item are determined. These tags, which indicate that the user removed the media item represented by the one or more tags from presentation on the first platform, are stored in a storage device. Subsequently, content provided by a second content source (different from the first content source) on a second platform (different from the first platform) is prevented from being presented. This content is prevented from being presented based on a tag representing the content matching the one or more tags stored in the storage device.

Providing a summary of a multimedia document in a session
The present disclosure provides method and apparatus for providing a summary of a multimedia document in a session. In some implementations, a message may be received from a user in a session and the session is between the user and an electronic conversational agent. The multimedia document may be obtained based at least on the message. The emotion information in the multimedia document may be extracted. The summary of the multimedia document may be generated based at least on the message and the extracted emotion information. A response including the generated summary of the multimedia document may be provided to the user.

METHODS AND APPARATUS TO MONITOR ON-DEMAND MEDIA
Methods, apparatus, systems, and articles of manufacture are disclosed to monitor on-demand media. An example apparatus populates a reference library with a reference profile for on-demand media in response to publication of the on-demand media by generating one or more reference signatures for the on-demand media, collecting reference metadata associated with the on-demand media, and associating the one or more reference signatures and the reference metadata in the reference library to generate the reference profile. Additionally, the example apparatus collects one or more sample signatures generated at a media presentation environment. The example apparatus also records an exposure for the on-demand media based on a match between the one or more sample signatures and the one or more reference signatures.
