Image obtaining and processing apparatus including beacon sensor
Provided is a monitoring system including an image obtaining apparatus and an image processing apparatus. The image obtaining apparatus includes: a camera; a beacon sensor; a processor configured to match beacon information obtained by detecting, by the beacon sensor, a beacon attached to an object existing in a monitoring region, to an image of the monitoring region captured by the camera; and a memory storing the image matched with the beacon information.
IMAGE-BASED POPULARITY PREDICTION
A machine may be configured to access an image of an item described by a description of the item. The machine may determine an image quality score of the image based on an analysis of the image. A request for search results that pertain to the description may be received by the machine, and the machine may present a search result that references the item's image, based on its image quality score. Also, the machine may access images of items and descriptions of items and generate a set of most frequent text tokens included in the item descriptions. The machine may identify an image feature exhibited by an item's image and determine that a text token from the corresponding item description matches one of the most frequent text tokens. A data structure may be generated by the machine to correlate the identified image feature with the text token.
DYNAMIC SEARCH INPUT SELECTION
Described is a system and method for enabling dynamic selection of a search input. For example, rather than having a static search input box, the search input may be dynamically positioned such that it encompasses a portion of displayed information. An image segment that includes a representation of the encompassed portion of the displayed information is generated and processed to determine an object represented in the portion of the displayed information. Additional images with visually similar representations of objects are then determined and presented to the user.
Use of on-screen content identifiers in automated tool control systems
An inventory control system comprises an object storage device, a display device, and one or more processors. The object storage device includes a plurality of compartments, in which each compartment has a plurality of storage locations for storing objects. The display device is configured to display information about the object storage device. The one or more processors are configured to establish a description database of objects configured for storage in the inventory control system. The one or more processors retrieve object keywords corresponding to objects stored in the plurality of storage locations of one of the plurality of compartments. The one or more processors also generate a text block based on the retrieved object keywords. On the display device, the one or more processors display a representation of the plurality of compartments of the object storage device with the text block applied to the one of the plurality of compartments.
Providing a response in a session
The present disclosure provides method and apparatus for providing a response to a user in a session. At least one message associated with a first object may be received in the session, the session being between the user and an electronic conversational agent. An image representation of the first object may be obtained. Emotion information of the first object may be determined based at least on the image representation. A response may be generated based at least on the at least one message and the emotion information. The response may be provided to the user.
Restoring integrity of a social media thread from a social network export
The disclosed technology addresses the need in the art for a service that can ingest a social network export and restore the integrity of threads within the social network export. The present technology can unite images in the social network export with the caption from the initial post, and with any comments within the thread. Likewise, images in the social network export can be enhanced to include metadata that reflects when the image was posted and any other contextual information that the social network provides in export file.
Systems and methods for screenshot linking
A system for analyzing screenshots can include a computing device including a processor coupled to a memory and a display screen configured to display content. The system can include an application stored on the memory and executable by the processor. The application can include a screenshot receiver configured to access, from storage to which a screenshot of the content displayed on the display screen captured using a screenshot function of the computing device is stored, the screenshot including an image and a predetermined marker. The application can include a marker detector configured to detect the predetermined marker included in the screenshot. The application can include a link identifier configured to identify, using the predetermined marker, a link to a resource mapped to the image included in the screenshot, the resource accessible by the computing device via the link.
Coalescing Notifications Associated with Interactive Digital Content
The technology described herein is capable of generating and presenting graphical user interfaces for displaying shared content, configuring space objects (also simply called spaces), posting digital content items to various spaces, inviting other users to contribute digital content items to various spaces, forking digital content items posted in one space or post object to another space or post object, contextual searching, posting rich comments in association with a post including graphical and textual data, and so forth.
