Method and systems for providing personalized supplemental audio streams
The application aids users by providing supplemental audio content. For example, the application determines a subject of content provided to user equipment during a first time period of the content. The application retrieves a profile associated with the user equipment and retrieves supplemental audio related to the profile and related to the subject of the content. The application detects a supplementation point in the content corresponding with audio content similar to a supplementation signature and transmits the supplemental audio to the user equipment for output at the supplementation point.
Music composition aid
Disclosed herein are computer-implemented method, computer-readable storage medium, and DAW embodiments for implementing a music composition aid. An embodiment includes retrieving a first constraint value, receiving a selection of a set of musical elements, and accepting a second constraint value corresponding to the set of musical elements. Some embodiments further include invoking an iterator function, using at least the second constraint value as an argument, and generating an output of the iterator function, limiting a size of the output of the iterator function, according to the lesser of the first constraint value or a transform of the second constraint value. Output of the iterator function may include, of the set of musical elements, a subset determined by the second constraint value. The size of the output may be no more than the first constraint value. Further embodiments may render the output of the iterator function visually and/or audibly, for example.
System and method for data augmentation for multi-microphone signal processing
A method, computer program product, and computing system for receiving a signal from each microphone of a plurality of microphones, thus defining a plurality of signals. One or more inter-microphone gain-based augmentations may be performed on the plurality of signals, thus defining one or more inter-microphone gain-augmented signals.
CONTACTLESS CARD FOR MULTIMEDIA APPLICATIONS, MULTIMEDIA FILE CONFIGURATION AND MULTIMEDIA FILE PLAYBACK
A device with an identifier is described. The identifier includes a complete link for access to a digital playback platform of a multimedia file. The identifier is a readable identifier including a near-field communication (NFC) transceiver module, a QR code, or a barcode. Multimedia file configuration and multimedia file playback methods and systems on the digital playback platform are also described.
Tagging an image with audio-related metadata
In one aspect, an example method to be performed by a computing device includes (a) receiving a request to use a camera of the computing device; (b) in response to receiving the request, (i) using a microphone of the computing device to capture audio content and (ii) using the camera of the computing device to capture an image; (c) identifying reference audio content that has at least a threshold extent of similarity with the captured audio content; and (d) outputting an indication of the identified reference audio content while displaying the captured image.
CONTENT PROVIDING SYSTEM, CONTENT PROVIDING METHOD, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
There is provided a content providing system in which a script that is generated by a creator and includes identification information of content and comment information is stored in a predetermined storage medium to be browsable by a user, the content providing system including a control unit that performs control to execute reading, according to a script selected by the user, content indicated by content identification information included in the script by using a right that the user has already obtained by a contract with a specific service, and provide the content to the user, and control to read a comment according to the comment information included in the script and provide the comment to the user at least one of before or after the provision of the content, in which the control unit controls the provision of the content or the comment according to a context of the user.
Processing Voice Commands
Recorded background noises, and other contextual data, may be used to assist in resolving ambiguity in spoken voice commands. The background noises may comprise sounds from entities in a room other than the user issuing the voice commands. One such entity may be a content item being watched by the user, and the captured background noises may comprise audio of the content item. The content item may be identified based on the captured audio of the content item in the background noises, and the identification may be used to interpret the ambiguous voice command. Additional contextual information associated with the voice commands (e.g., identifications of the users in the room) and/or the content item (e.g., the video quality of the content item, a service outputting the content item, a genre of the content item, etc.) may be used to identify the content item.
Generating sentiment metrics using emoji selections
Methods, devices and systems for measuring emotions expressed by computing emoji responses to videos are described. An example method includes receiving user input corresponding to an emoji at a selected time, assigning at least one meaning-bearing word to the emoji, wherein the at least one meaning-bearing word has an intended use or meaning that is represented by the emoji, associating a corresponding vector with the at least one meaning-bearing word, wherein the corresponding vector is a vector of a plurality of vectors in a vector space, and aggregating the plurality of vectors to generate an emoji vector that corresponds to the user sentiment.
Color Treatment and Color Normalization for Digital Assets
Devices, methods, and non-transitory program storage devices are disclosed to provide for the application of color treatments and/or color normalization operations to digital assets (DAs) in a set of DAs that are to be displayed as part of a multimedia presentation. The determination of the color treatment may be based on comparing one or more characteristics of an audio media item associated with the set of DAs to a corresponding one or more characteristics of a plurality of predetermined color treatments. Color normalization may be applied to the set of DAs prior to the determined color treatment. Techniques disclosed herein may also determine one or more parameters for a multimedia presentation of the set of DAs based on a characteristic of the associated audio media item. The parameters for the multimedia presentation may comprise one or more of: preferred DA sequences, portions, clusters, layouts, themes, transition types, or transition durations.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR CONTENT ITEM DISTRIBUTION AND INTERACTION
A content interaction system comprising at least one processor and memory hardware. The memory hardware stores a content item database configured to store a set of content items, a user database configured to store a set of user identifiers corresponding to account holders, and instructions for execution by the at least one processor. The instructions include, in response to a user device navigating to a first screen, obtaining a set of parameters corresponding to a first user identifier associated with the user device from the user database, implementing a machine learning algorithm to retrieve a set of content items from the content item database based on the set of parameters, and transforming a user interface of the user device based on the set of content items.
