The method is applied to a client and includes displaying a first list page in the screen display range, where the first list page includes at least two list items; and in response to detecting a first trigger action of a user on one of the at least two list items, switching, in the screen display range, to display a second list page corresponding to the triggered list item. The content recommendation strategy adopted by the second list page is a recommendation strategy determined based on the associated content of the triggered list item.

Provided are systems and methods for providing content identified in a playlist associated with a profile. A content consumption system monitors a profile and determines a segment of a content item that is of interest to the profile. The segment of the content item is added to a playlist, which can then be looped.

Systems and methods for incorporating social content items into a produced video are provided. The system presents a producer interface to a user that allows the user to query for social content items. The user may then select and arrange social content items in an on-air queue. In an on-air mode, the system generates a broadcast-ready on-air format of the social content items and provides a video stream including the broadcast-ready social content items in the on-air queue to a video production system. The broadcast-ready social content items are incorporated into a produced video by the video production system. The user may navigate through the social content items in the on-air queue while on camera as part of the produced video.

Systems and methods for incorporating social content items into a produced video are provided. The system presents a producer interface to a user that allows the user to query for social content items. The user may then select and arrange social content items in an on-air queue. In an on-air mode, the system generates a broadcast-ready on-air format of the social content items and provides a video stream including the broadcast-ready social content items in the on-air queue to a video production system. The broadcast-ready social content items are incorporated into a produced video by the video production system. The user may navigate through the social content items in the on-air queue while on camera as part of the produced video.

Techniques for searching page interaction are described herein. The disclosed techniques include in response to a first preset operation on a search control in a current display interface, switching the current display interface to a search interface and displaying at least one subject of recommended content in the search interface and displaying a dynamic thumbnail of at least one video corresponding to each subject of recommended content under the subject of recommended content; in response to a second preset operation on a target subject of recommended content, jumping to a detail page corresponding to the target subject of recommended content; and in response to a third preset operation on a dynamic thumbnail of a target video, jumping to a play interface of the target video.

Techniques for searching page interaction are described herein. The disclosed techniques include in response to a first preset operation on a search control in a current display interface, switching the current display interface to a search interface and displaying at least one subject of recommended content in the search interface and displaying a dynamic thumbnail of at least one video corresponding to each subject of recommended content under the subject of recommended content; in response to a second preset operation on a target subject of recommended content, jumping to a detail page corresponding to the target subject of recommended content; and in response to a third preset operation on a dynamic thumbnail of a target video, jumping to a play interface of the target video.

Techniques are described that provide a gallery of media files via a messaging application. The messaging application may include one or more messaging threads between a user and one or more other users. The user may share a media file with another user via a message associated with a message thread. The media files may include photographs, videos, links, screenshots, documents, graphic interchange format (GIF) images, and other media content shared between a user and one or more other users. A communication platform may determine that the message includes a media file and may associate the media file with media galleries associated with the user and the other user. The media galleries may enable both users to easily access shared media content and to quickly identify a particular media files of interest.

In an approach to improve file recall between storage devices by optimizing file recall for multiple users. Embodiments of the present invention obtain one or more similarities among one or more users based on one or more usage points and divide the one or more users into a plurality of clusters based on a content of the one or more usage points. Further, embodiments select a cluster from the plurality of clusters based on cluster importance, and select the content used by more than a predetermined percentage of the weighted users pertaining to the selected cluster as an automated recall subject. Additionally, embodiments recal one or more selected content from a secondary storage device to a primary storage device.

Embodiments of the present invention obtain one or more similarities among one or more users based on one or more usage points and divide the one or more users into a plurality of clusters based on a content of the one or more usage points. An electronic device and method are disclosed. The electronic device includes a display, a processor and memory. The processor may implement the method, including analyzing, by a processor, a first video to identify any characters included in the first video, displaying one or more icons representing one or more characters identified in the first video via a display, receiving, by input circuitry, a first user input selecting a first icon representing a first character from among the one or more icons, based on the first user input, selecting image frames of the first video that include the first character from among image frames included in the first video, and generating, by the processor, a second video including the selected image frames. A second embodiment includes automatically selecting images from a gallery including one or more characters for generation of a video.
