In response to that a user selects a reference video for performing an activity, the computer system identifies a search query of a reference video. The computer system identifies personalized parameters of the user, based on a knowledge corpus user preferences of performing activities, and the search query. The computer system identifies appropriate videos and video transcripts in an online video repository and identifies textual contents through document and text search, based on a prediction about how the user is to perform the activity. The computer system draws series of images based on the textual contents. The computer system normalizes contents from the appropriate videos and the series of images and normalizes voices in the contents from the appropriate videos.

Systems and methods are described herein for providing a search result based on an ambiguous voice query. The system comprises receiving an ambiguous voice query relating to an object from a user, retrieving a viewing history of the user for about a list of media assets viewed by the user, determining, from the list of media asset, a media asset that is likely to contain the object based at least in part on metadata of the media asset and the ambiguous voice query, searching content of the determined media asset to identify a segment within the media asset that contains the object, and generating a display of information about the object identified from the segment.

The method includes: acquiring a face image, the face image comprising a face of at least one user (S1); acquiring, according to a face recognition algorithm, a face feature set of the at least one user from the face image (S2); comparing the face feature set with face feature sets in an archive (S3); and if the face feature set of the at least one user matches the face feature sets in the archive, displaying a first video recommendation set, and if each face feature set does not match the face feature sets in the archive, display a second video recommendation set (S4). Using the method to recommend videos to users reduces operation steps of the users choosing to watch videos and provides convenience for the users to use.
