SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CREATING, MANAGING, AND DISPLAYING USER OWNED COLLECTIONS OF 3D DIGITAL COLLECTIBLES
A system and method for creating, managing, and displaying collections of 3D digital collectibles comprising a virtual, three dimensional, n-sided structure including a digital media file or set of digital media files representing an event rendered on a representation of a first surface thereof, and data relating to the event rendered on at least a second surface thereof, where the digital media file may be a video clip of the event that can be played automatically via a media player associated with the display. The system may provide a graphical user interface that displays a set of user tools to create the collections by selecting individual 3D digital collectibles, and a user interface to display collections to other users and serially play the digital media files of the 3D digital collectibles of the collection.

According to an illustrative embodiment, an information processing apparatus is provided. The information processing apparatus includes a storage for storing content identification and content type information in association with each other, the content identification identifying a content that a renderer acquired from a server and reproduced; an input unit for receiving a reproduction request specifying the content type information; and a transmission unit for retrieving the content identification associated with the specified content type information from the storage and transmitting to the renderer an instruction for reproduction, the instruction for reproduction including the content identification.
System and method for switching between media items in a plurality of sequences of media items
An electronic device with one or more processors, memory, and a touchscreen plays a first media item in a full-screen mode on the touchscreen. In response to detecting a contact on the touchscreen, the first media item shrinks into a region of the touchscreen and continues to play in the region, while a new media item is displayed outside of the region. In response to detecting movement of the contact, the shrunken first media item moves away from the region and the new media item moves into the region.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR DISPLAYING A PLURALITY OF VIDEOS
A method for displaying a plurality of videos is disclosed. Methods, systems, and media for providing media guidance are provided. In some embodiments, the method comprises: receiving a request to browse through related content; receiving a plurality of content clips, wherein each content clip corresponds to a portion of a corresponding content item; causing a first content clip to be presented; in response to determining that presentation of the first content clip has been completed, causing a second content clip to be presented; receiving a user input indicating a user preference related to the second content clip; in response to receiving the user input, requesting a third content clip based on the user preference related to the second content clip; receiving the third content clip, wherein the third content clip has been identified based at least in part on metadata associated with the second content clip and metadata associated with the third content clip; and causing the third content clip to be presented.

In one example embodiment, thumbnail management for video content includes detecting a plurality of scene change points from the video content, determining a number of analysis windows based on the plurality of detected scene change points, selecting a frame in each of the analysis windows, and storing the selected frame as the thumbnail for the respective analysis window.
USER INTERFACE WITH METADATA CONTENT ELEMENTS FOR VIDEO NAVIGATION
A video navigation and search tool includes a user interface that facilitates user interactions with indexed video content stored in a database. The user interface includes a library of thumbnail images that each individually depict a different subject associated in memory with a different detection identifier (ID). Each of the thumbnail images in the library is an image cropped from a single frame of a video file. Responsive to receiving a user selection of one of the thumbnail images associated with a first detection ID, the video navigation and search tool retrieves context metadata identifying frames in the video file indexed in the database in association with the first detection ID and presents video segment information on the user interface. The presented video segment information identifies one or more segments in the video file including the frames associated with the first detection ID.
System and method enabling visual filtering of content
There is presented a system and method enabling visual filtering of content. The system comprises a server, a content database storing content units and accessible through the server, and a filtering and display application. The filtering and display application is configured to enable visual filtering of the content units by filtering a plurality of graphical representations corresponding to a plurality of content units stored by the system, to extract a first plurality of graphical representations for displaying to a user, displaying the first plurality of graphical representations as active graphical representations selectable by the user in a first featured display, and dynamically filtering the first plurality of graphical representations and replacing the first featured display with another featured display of a first subset of active graphical representations selectable by the user according to an input received from the user.
