DATABASE SYSTEM FOR MARKING CODES FOR LIQUID FOOD PACKAGES

A database system can comprise a plurality of code databases storing marking codes that uniquely identifies packages of liquid food and comprises package production data which uniquely identifies production of the individual package. The respective code database stores a respective subset of the marking codes. An input sub-system of the database system is configured to receive a current marking code. The database system comprises a set of resource locators. The respective resource locator is configured to: receive the current marking code from the input sub-system, extract the package production data from the current marking code, identify a current code database among the plurality of code databases based on the package production data, and re-direct the current marking code to the current code database.

Example embodiments allow for networks of hybrid controllers that can be computed efficiently and that can adapt to changes in the system(s) under control. Such a network includes at least one hybrid controller that includes a dynamic sub-controller and a learned system sub-controller. Information about the ongoing performance of the system under control is provided to both the hybrid controller and to an over-controller, which provides one or more control inputs to the hybrid controller in order to modify the ongoing operation of the hybrid controller. These inputs can include the set-point of the hybrid controller, one or more parameters of the dynamic controller, and an update rate or other parameter of the learned system controller. The over-controller can control multiple hybrid controllers (e.g., controlling respective sub-systems of an overall system) and can, itself, be a hybrid controller.

INTERSPERSED MESSAGE BATCHING IN A DATABASE SYSTEM

A message batching configuration may be determined for transmitting a message to recipients. The message batching configuration may include two or more message batches, a respective recipient count for each message batch, a respective time delay between each message batch, and a performance metric for evaluating the message. The message is transmitted in accordance with the message batching configuration. The transmission of subsequent message batches is halted when it is determined that the designated performance metric fails to meet a designated performance metric threshold.

Compute-efficient effective tag determination for data assets

Techniques described herein are directed to determining an effective tag for data assets. For instance, each tag associated with a data asset may be associated with certain attributes. Non-limiting examples for such attributes may include a confidence level associated with a source that applied the tag, an applied date at which the tag was applied to the data asset, and/or a hierarchical depth of the data asset to which the tag was applied, as well as additional and/or alternative types of attributes. When a request to determine a tag for a data asset is received, the attributes for all the tags applied to the data asset may be retrieved and/or analyzed to determine which of such tags effectively classifies the data asset. The determined effective tag may be returned to the requesting entity.

Provided are an electronic device and a method for controlling same. The present method for controlling the electronic device may allow for on the basis of an image obtained by a camera of the electronic device, acquiring information associated with the user, identifying at least one advertisement category among a plurality of advertisement categories; when an event for displaying an advertisement occurs, transmitting information on the at least one advertisement category to an advertisement platform server; and receiving an advertisement in the at least one advertisement category from the advertisement platform server.

ALGORITHMIC TCAM BASED TERNARY LOOKUP

An algorithmic TCAM based ternary lookup method is provided. The method stores entries for ternary lookup into several sub-tables. All entries in each sub-table have a sub-table key that includes the same common portion of the entry. No two sub-tables are associated with the same sub-table key. The method stores the keys in a sub-table keys table in TCAM. Each key has a different priority. The method stores the entries for each sub-table in random access memory. Each entry in a sub-table has a different priority. The method receives a search request to perform a ternary lookup for an input data item. A ternary lookup into the ternary sub-table key table stored in TCAM is performed to retrieve a sub-table index. The method performs a ternary lookup across the entries of the sub-table associated with the retrieved index to identify the highest priority matched entry for the input data item.

PROJECTION ALGORITHMS FOR DISCRETE FOURIER TRANSFORM TWIDDLE FACTORS GENERATION
20220334839 · 2022-10-20 ·

The present invention is related to Discrete Fourier Transform (DFT) Twiddle Factors (TFs) generation algorithms. It presents New Projection Algorithms (NPAs) to generate any required TF of the DFT matrix by providing only a small stored portion of the TFs that are stored in a Memory Storage (MS). The present invention presents how to exploit the existence of symmetries and the existence of similarities among the TFs of the DFT matrix to construct a methodology of operation to be able to formulate the NPAs. The use of the NPAs will avoid the need of retrieving that required TF from pre-saved lookup tables of the DFT matrix and also will avoid the need to calculate it with slow complicated algorithms like CORDIC as used by prior arts.

System and method in a database system for creating a field service work order

A method in a database system is disclosed. The method comprises generating a task template object from a platform entity with polymorphic lookup capability that can map to multiple tenant domains wherein the task template object contains one or more task completion storage records for storing task-specific information, converting the task template object into a work-type object by storing task-specific information in the one or more task completion storage records wherein the work-type object comprises a work-type object identifier (ID), a first record for recording the database ID of one or more work order objects mapped to the work-type object, and a first task completion storage record for storing a first type of task-specific information. The method further comprises generating a work order object for a task and providing the work order object with access to the task-specific information by linking the work-type object to the work order object.
