Apparatus and method for recognizing driving lane of vehicle
An apparatus and method for recognizing a driving lane of a vehicle are provided. The apparatus includes an information acquisition device that acquires forward information of a road on which the vehicle is driving, and a processor that recognizes an entrance section and an exit section on a front left side of the vehicle based on the forward information, and determines a driving lane of the vehicle by correcting a number of lanes of the road in the entrance section and the exit section.

In some examples, image content moderation may include classifying, based on a learning model, an object displayed in an image into a category. Further, image content moderation may include detecting, based on another learning model, the object, refining the detected object based on a label, and determining, based on the another learning model, a category for the refined detected object. Further, image content moderation may include identifying, based on the label, a keyword associated with the object, and determining, based on the identified keyword, a category for the object. Further, image content moderation may include categorizing, based on a set of rules, the object into a category, and moderating image content by categorizing, based on aforementioned analysis the object into a category. Yet further, image content moderation may include tagging, based on fusion-based tagging, the object with a category and a color associated with the object.
FEATURE DATASET CLASSIFICATION
Apparatuses and methods of operating such apparatuses are disclosed. An apparatus comprises feature dataset input circuitry to receive a feature dataset comprising multiple feature data values indicative of a set of features, wherein each feature data value is represented by a set of bits. Class retrieval circuitry is responsive to reception of the feature dataset from the feature dataset input circuitry to retrieve from class indications storage a class indication for each feature data value received in the feature dataset, wherein class indications are predetermined and stored in the class indications storage for each permutation of the set of bits for each feature. Classification output circuitry is responsive to reception of class indications from the class retrieval circuitry to determine a classification in dependence on the class indications. A predicated class may thus be accurately generated from a simple apparatus.
System for identifying a defined object
System/method identifying a defined object (e.g., hazard): a sensor detecting and defining a digital representation of an object; a processor (connected to the sensor) which executes two techniques to identify a signature of the defined object; a memory (connected to the processor) storing reference data relating to two signatures derived, respectively, by the two techniques; responsive to the processor receiving the digital representation from the sensor, the processor executes the two techniques, each technique assessing the digital representation to identify any signature candidate defined by the object, derive feature data from each identified signature candidate, compare the feature data to the reference data, and derive a likelihood value of the signature candidate corresponding with the respective signature; combining likelihood values to derive a composite likelihood value and thus determine whether the object in the digital representation is the defined object.
LANE MARKING
Systems and methods for the detection and analysis of road markings and other road objects are described. A method for detection of road markings comprises identifying image data including lane markings associated with a road segment, defining a plurality of subsections for the road segment, identifying boundary recognition observations for the lane markings from the image data corresponding to the at least one of the plurality of subsections for the road segments, calculating one or more clusters for the boundary recognition observations according to color or intensity, and outputting a lane marking indicator indicating the color or the intensity, for the at least one of the plurality of subsections for the road segments, in response to the one or more clusters.

DOCUMENT PROCESSING USING HYBRID RULE-BASED ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (AI) MECHANISMS
A hybrid rule-based Artificial Intelligence (AI) document processing system processes a non-editable document with at least one invoice to accurately extract data from tables in the invoices. The non-editable document is preprocessed for conversion into a markup format and pages including the invoice are identified. The invoice is processed via a document process by parsing the pages in different directions to generate a first set of predictions and via a block process wherein logical information blocks from the invoice are processed to generate a second set of predictions. The missing entries from a selected table are identified by applying rules to the first set of predictions and the second set of predictions. Any discrepancy between the missing entry values between the first and second set of predictions are resolved and the resulting data is exported to downstream systems for further uses.
System and method for discriminating and demarcating targets of interest in a physical scene
Captured samples of a physical structure or other scene are mapped to a predetermined multi-dimensional coordinate space, and spatially-adjacent samples are organized into array cells representing subspaces thereof. Each cell is classified according to predetermined target-identifying criteria for the samples of the cell. A cluster of spatially-contiguous cells of common classification, peripherally bounded by cells of different classification, is constructed, and a boundary demarcation is defined from the peripheral contour of the cluster. The boundary demarcation is overlaid upon a visual display of the physical scene, thereby visually demarcating the boundaries of a detected target of interest.
Training diverse and robust ensembles of artificial intelligence computer models
Mechanisms are provided to implement a hardened ensemble artificial intelligence (AI) model generator. The hardened ensemble AI model generator co-trains at least two AI models. The hardened ensemble AI model generator modifies, based on a comparison of the at least two AI models, a loss surface of one or more of the at least two AI models to prevent an adversarial attack on one AI model, in the at least two AI models, transferring to another AI model in the at least two AI models, to thereby generate one or more modified AI models. At least one of the one or more modified AI models then processes an input to generate an output result.
Gesture recognition based on skeletal model vectors
A system for recognizing gestures generates a skeletal model from video data of a subject. A defined subset of attributes of the skeletal model are mapped to defined positions of a vector. A gesture is recognized by evaluating a neural network using the vector as input. The neural network, trained using training vectors generated according to the definitions of skeletal model attributes and vector positions, classifies a gesture based on the input vector.
