Password-less software system user authentication

Data is received as part of an authentication procedure to identify a user. Such data characterizes a user-generated biometric sequence that is generated by the user interacting with at least one input device according to a desired biometric sequence. Thereafter, using the received data and at least one machine learning model trained using empirically derived historical data generated by a plurality of user-generated biometric sequences (e.g., historical user-generated biometric sequences according to the desired biometric sequence, etc.), the user is authenticated if an output of the at least one machine learning model is above a threshold. Data can be provided that characterizes the authenticating. Related apparatus, systems, techniques and articles are also described.

Authentication based on a physical key

A device may obtain registration data associated with a registration of an individual. The registration data may include an image that depicts a physical key and a reference object. The device may process the image to identify a first feature of the physical key and a first measurement of the first feature based on the size of the reference object. The device may store first feature data based on the first feature and the first measurement. The device may obtain second feature data based on a second feature of the physical key and a second measurement of the second feature identified from an insertion of the physical key into a keyhole of an authentication mechanism. The device may determine whether the first feature data corresponds to the second feature data. The device may authenticate the individual based on determining that the first feature data corresponds to the second feature data.

Method and device for authenticating a user

A method and a device for authenticating a user. A signal representative of at least one character traced by the user on a surface of a transmitter device is received by the authentication device. The transmitter device includes an antenna able to transmit a radio signal to a terminal of the user via a channel using the electromagnetic wave conduction capabilities of the body of the user when the hand of the user traces the at least one character on or close to the surface of the transmitter device. The authentication device checks whether the received signal corresponds to a previously stored control signal and, in the event of a positive check, confirms authentication of the user.

Augmented reality dynamic authentication

A system for performing authorization of a user in an augmented reality environment comprises an augmented reality user device, an automatic teller machine, and an authentication server. The automatic teller machine has a keypad with unmarked buttons. The augmented reality user device includes a display configured to overlay virtual objects onto a field of view of a user. The augmented reality user device receives a virtual keypad overlay, which assigns values to the unmarked buttons of the keypad. Using the overlay, the augmented reality user device displays the assigned values on the buttons of the keypad. The automatic teller machine detects an input sequence entered on the keypad and sends the input sequence to the authentication server. The authentication server determines an authentication code by combining the input sequence with the virtual keypad overlay, and compares the determined authentication code with an authentication code stored in a database.

POINTING DEVICE BIOMETRICS CONTINUOUS USER AUTHENTICATION

There is provided, in accordance with some embodiments, a method comprising using one or more hardware processors for receiving a behavioral biometric model that characterizes a human user according to pointing device data of the human user, where the pointing device data comprises screen coordinate and time stamp pairs. The method comprises an action of monitoring an input data stream from a pointing device in real time, wherein the input data stream covers two or more spatial regions of a display screen, and an action of segregating the input data stream into one or more subset streams that is restricted to one of the plurality of spatial regions. The method comprises an action of computing a similarity score based on one or more comparisons of the behavioral biometric model and the one or more subset streams, and an action of sending the similarity score to a user authorization system.

Embodiments of the present disclosure provide methods, systems, apparatuses, and computer program products that are configured to provide authenticated access to a service application. The embodiments disclose an apparatus and system configured to launch an authenticated service application session in response to capturing authentication success rendering comprising visual authentication indicia. The authentication success rendering is a captured via a user device display, and includes visual authentication indicia. To facilitate rendering of the authentication success rendering, embodiments output a browser sign-in session request configured to launch a browser sign-in session associated with a browser application. Additionally, to facilitate capturing the rendering, embodiments initiate a display recorder module configured to capture, during the browser sign-in session and via the user device display, authentication success rendering comprising visual authentication indicia. Embodiments may be configured to parse the captured authentication success rendering to identify the visual authentication indicia, and decode the visual authentication indicia to identify user authentication data. Finally, embodiments may execute a service application sign-in protocol using the user authentication data to launch the authenticated service application session.

SECURITY VERIFICATION METHOD AND RELEVANT DEVICE

The present disclosure provides a security verification method and a relevant device, to increase the difficulty of cracking. The method includes: receiving, from a verification requester, a request for pulling a sliding verification code; acquiring the sliding verification code which includes a slider and a second endpoint image obtained by performing filter processing on a first endpoint image; and returning the sliding verification code to the verification requester. The first endpoint image and the slider are generated from the same original image, and the slider and the second endpoint image are returned to the verification requester finally. The second endpoint image is obtained by performing image processing on the first endpoint image, and after the image processing, in an area outside the slider placement area, pixel values of pixels in the second endpoint image are different from pixel values of corresponding pixels in the original image.
