In the present disclosure, multiple pieces of temperature data may correspond to one piece of compressed data (for example, 1 bit), so that each piece of temperature data only occupies a small storage space, and starting time data and multiple pieces of compressed data are stored in a temperature recorder together, thereby effectively improving the storage performance of the temperature recorder, and achieving rapid collection of the temperature data. The blockchain-based verification for the collected temperature data ensures the security and authenticity of temperature data collection and prevents data from being tampered with.

At least a portion of the selection parameters and, for each selection parameter, data identifying the first content platform from which the selection parameter was received are transmitted to a second content platform. Data specifying a given first content platform selected based on the selection parameters is received from the second content platform.

Digital or “smart” contracts execute in a blockchain environment. Any entity (whether public or private) may specify a digital contract via a contract identifier in a blockchain. Because there may be many digital contracts offered as virtual services, the contract identifier uniquely identifies a particular digital contract offered by a virtual machine, vendor or supplier. The blockchain is thus not burdened with the programming code that is required to execute the digital contract. The blockchain need only include or specify the contract identifier (and perhaps one or more contractual parameters), thus greatly simplifying the blockchain and reducing its size (in bytes) and processing requirements.

A new evaluation score for the evaluation entity is calculated using the evaluation score and the evaluation value. The new evaluation score for the evaluation entity is securely committed to a new data block on the first blockchain or the second blockchain.

A process for preserving chain of custody for digital evidence captured at a portable device. The portable device transmits a request to upload the digital evidence to the cloud server via an intermediary storage device. The request includes digitally signed evidence metadata with data integrity code and authentication credentials. The portable device receives a response indicating approval to upload the digital evidence to the cloud server via the intermediary storage device. The portable device transmits the digital evidence to the intermediary storage device for uploading to the cloud server, and further transmits a request for approval to delete the digital evidence from the portable device. The portable device deletes the digital evidence only after receiving a response from the cloud server indicating an approval to delete the digital evidence from the portable device.
