A portable, electronic device configured to transform between a smartphone usage mode and a keyboard-based usage mode. The device includes (i) a base section and (ii) a top section that includes a touchscreen display that sits over the base section when the device is in the smartphone mode. A sliding carriage system enables the top section to both (i) slide back over the base section, moving parallel to a top surface of the base section, and then fully expose the keyboard, and (ii) then pivot so that the display is at a conventional reading angle to the keyboard.

A display device includes a first display and a second display. The first display includes a first body and a first magnet disposed in the first body. The first body has a first side and a slot located at the first side. The first magnet is disposed corresponding to the slot, and the first magnet is adjacent to the first side. The second display is detachably mounted to the first display. The second display includes a second body and a magnetic hook. The second body has a second side and a recess located at the second side, and the magnetic hook is movably disposed in recess. The first side of the first body abuts against the second side of the second body, and the slot is aligned to the recess. The magnetic hook is driven by a magnetic force of the first magnet to be engaged with the slot.

A screen protector attachment device for releasably attaching any of a variety of screen protectors to a viewing display of an electronic device. A screen protector attachment device includes a base bracket having a magnet embedded therein, and a screen foil bracket having a magnet embedded therein wherein the base bracket comprises one of a planar bracket, an angled bracket, a curved bracket, a corner bracket, or a flexible bracket, configured to accommodate electronic devices having either a full viewing display or a display with a peripheral frame. A protector screen is affixed to one or more screen foil brackets that are each magnetically coupled to corresponding base brackets attached about the viewable display of electronic devices.

A mount for a peripheral device including a first plate having an opening; a second plate coupled to the first plate via a first hinged joint so as to be pivotable between a closed configuration and an open configuration; and a levelling plate disposed in the opening and coupled to the first plate via a second hinged joint so as to be pivotable between a flushed configuration and an angled-off configuration. The first hinged joint and the second hinged joint being parallel and at opposite portions of the first plate. A privacy filter includes a base having a shape corresponding to a shape of an adherend and formed in a sheet form, a micro-louver portion stacked on one face of the base, wherein the micro-louver portion has a louver pattern in which a light transmitting layer and an opaque layer are alternately arranged with each other in a repeated manner, a first coating formed on one face of the micro-louver portion, a second coating formed on an opposite face of the base to one face of the base, and a foam pad stacked on one face of the second coating, wherein the foam pad is to be adhered to the adherend, and has a predetermined thickness.

A foldable touch screen display device made up of flexible or tiled display segments that can be folded from a compact state to an expanded state which also includes a 360 degree camera system. The form factor of the compact state is roughly the size of a typical handheld phone or smaller. The form factor of the expanded state is roughly the size of a larger phone or tablet computer, which may also include the mechanical functionality of a laptop. The device form factor may also be a flip phone configuration. Both folded states may include an integrated speaker and microphone. The 360 degree camera utilizes the inherent folded segment positions and their respective cameras such that they can be configured at different angles to achieve the appropriate camera array geometry. The device may further include sensors to indicate the position of each display segment. In one embodiment, a module attached to, situated within, or otherwise associated with at least one segment of the flexible display or rigid display may contain all or substantially all processing and memory, along with a communications system, which may be used in any folded state.
