Annunciator drawer
A dual-screen user device and methods for revealing a combination of selected desktops and applications on single and dual screens are disclosed. Desktops and applications can be shifted between screens by user gestures, and/or moved off of the screens and therefore hidden. Hidden desktops and screens can be re-displayed by other gestures. The desktops and applications are arranged in a window stack that represents a logical order of the desktops and applications providing a user with an intuitive ability to manage multiple applications/desktops running simultaneously. One embodiment provides an annunciator window extending across both screens in a dual screen configuration. The annunciator window provides alerts, notifications, and statuses of the device in an increased area thereby enhancing viewability of the information in the window. The annunciator window can be expanded over a selected screen to view full contents of the window without having to minimize or close running applications.
System, method and device for presenting different functional displays when orientation of the device changes
Different functional views for a mobile device are provided depending on orientation of the device. The mobile device includes an enclosure and a display disposed within the enclosure, wherein the display presents a functional view to a user when the device is positioned in a first orientation and a second functional view when the display is rotated to a second orientation.
FOLDABLE ELECTRONIC APPARATUS AND INPUT METHOD THEREOF
An input method applied to a foldable electronic apparatus with pivotally connected first and second bodies is provided. The first body includes a display and a first G sensor. The second body includes a touch input portion and a second G sensor. First and second Euler angles of the first and second bodies are respectively detected by the first and second G sensors. A placement state of the foldable electronic apparatus is determined according to the first and second Euler angles. When the placement state is determined as a landscape state, the display displays a horizontal frame, and an input signal is executed according to the horizontal frame. When the placement state is converted to a portrait state, the horizontal frame is rotated to a portrait frame, the input signal is executed according to the portrait frame, and vertical and horizontal coordinates of the touch input portion are swapped.
ORIENTATION-AGNOSTIC FULL-SCREEN USER INTERFACE DISPLAYS FOR ELECTRONIC DEVICES
A system and method for control of user interfaces on electronic and/or computerized devices. The system and method display images, both still and video images, in an orientation-agnostic manner that is independent of a physical orientation of the display screen. This provides an interesting visual display effect whereby the image appears to remain in a fixed orientation (e.g., upright) relative to three-dimensional space, untethered to any position or orientation of the display screen and/or device, while the display screen and/or device is changed in position and/or orientation, such that the portion of the viewed image changes according to the dimensions and orientation of the screen relative to an apparent fixed orientation and/or position of the underlying image. Such a system and method for control of user interfaces provides for more efficient use of a display screen having a relatively limited size, as is common for smartphones and tablet computers.
Apparatus having angled springs
In some examples, an apparatus can include an arm, a cam connected to the arm, a first spring located around a first strut, where the first spring is oriented at a first angle relative to a base of the apparatus and the first strut is connected to the cam, a second spring located around a second strut, where the second spring is oriented at a second angle relative to the base of the apparatus and the second strut is connected to the cam, where the first spring and the second spring linearly compress in response to rotation of the arm from a vertical orientation to a horizontal orientation relative to the base of the apparatus.
DETECT MECHANISM USING ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS
In some examples a computing device can comprise a back plate and an electrical connection. The electrical connection is not in contact with a detect mechanism if a first voltage is generated; and the detect mechanism is in contact with the electrical connection if a second voltage is generated.
DEVICE CONTROL METHOD AND APPARATUS, STORAGE MEDIUM, AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE
The present disclosure discloses a device control method and apparatus, a storage medium, and an electronic device. The device control method can be applied in an electronic device including a retractable display screen. The device control method includes: identifying a use scenario of the electronic device; and controlling, based on the use scenario, the retractable display screen to spread out or retract. The present disclosure can improve operability of the electronic device.
IMAGE CAPTURE METHOD AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE THEREFOR
A flexible electronic device is provided. The flexible electronic device includes a first housing, a second housing, a hinge structure arranged between the first housing and the second housing, a flexible display, at least one sensor, at least one processor, and a memory. The flexible electronic device can determine, when an image capture input on the flexible display is detected, a form by using the at least one sensor, determine, when a first form is determined, whether different functions are being executed in a first area and a second area of the flexible display, and capture, when it is determined that different functions are being executed, at least a portion of the area from which the image capture input has been detected.
INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD AND APPARATUS, ELECTRONIC DEVICE, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
Information processing method and apparatus, electronic device, and storage medium are provided. The method includes obtaining a trigger operation; responding to the triggering operation and calling the multitasking manager; and displaying the multitasking manager. The multitasking manager includes at least one identification card obtained based on a target strategy. Each identification card includes at least one operation button. An operation button of the at least one operation button generates a control instruction for an application program corresponding to the identification card including the operation button to respond.
Display of virtual room
In one embodiment, a method includes providing, to each of a number of client devices, at least part of a graphical user interface (GUI) corresponding to a virtual room. The virtual room contains a number of users. The method further includes providing, to each of the client devices, a first portion of the GUI identifying at least some of the users in the virtual room. The method further includes providing, to each of the client devices, a second portion of the GUI, where the second portion of the GUI displays: (1) one or more user interactions from one or more of the users in the virtual room; and (2) for each user interaction, an identification of each particular user who generated the that user interaction.
