DISPLAY DEVICE AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING SAME
Provided is a display device and a method for controlling same. The display device of the present disclosure may include a display, a communication interface, a motor configured to rotate the display, and a processor configured to control the display to display an image content on the display disposed in a first orientation, display a user interface (UI) for rotating the image content and the display, receive a signal, from an external device through the communication interface while the UI is displayed, for rotating at least one of the image content or the display, and based on the received signal, rotate the image content displayed on the display or control the motor to rotate the display to a second orientation.
Selectively Obscuring and/or Revealing Sensitive Information in a Display of a Computing Device
A computer-implemented method may include (1) providing, on a display screen of a computing device, a display that obscures an item of information in a secure field in a display layout without obscuring an entirety of the display; (2) detecting, by the computing device and after providing the display, a user action or user orientation; (3) in response, causing the display to show the item of information in the secure field; and/or (4) after causing the display to show the item of information in the secure field, (i) detecting, using at least a camera of the computing device, a change in orientation of the user relative to the computing device, and (ii) in response to detecting the change in orientation of the user, causing the display to again obscure the item of information in the secure field without obscuring the entirety of the display.
INFORMATION PROCESSING DEVICE AND CONTROL METHOD
To change the screen display orientation so that the user can view the display correctly when the user places the display screen horizontally for use, an information processing device includes: a display; a touch sensor which detects a contact position of a pen on the screen of the display; an angle detection unit which detects a pen angle, which is the angle of the pen when the pen comes in contact with the screen; and a display control unit which changes screen display orientation of the display according to the pen angle detected by the angle detection unit.
FOLDABLE DEVICE
A foldable device can include a processor; memory accessible to the processor; a foldable frame that includes a hinge assembly that defines a folding axis offset from a center of the foldable frame; and a foldable display supported by the foldable frame and operatively coupled to the processor.
MOBILE TERMINAL, ELECTRONIC DEVICE HAVING MOBILE TERMINAL AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING ELECTRONIC DEVICE
An embodiment relates to an electronic device which comprises a case and a mobile terminal comprising a terminal body. A connection port provided on one side of the terminal body, a controller and a first display part the electronic device comprising: a second display part for displaying a game executed in the mobile terminal; and a wiring part for electrically connecting a first body and a second body. Wherein the controller controls the first display part and second display part, such that an integrated display part comprising the first display part and second display part is formed, and divides a first image such that the first image displayed on the first display part is displayed on the integrated display part in a divided manner, the first image comprises a first sub-image and a second sub-image, and the first image and second sub-image comprise images overlapping each other.
APPLICATION SELECTOR FOR POINT-OF-SALE DEVICES
A point-of-sale device including an adjustable screen, an accelerometer, and a processor is provided. The adjustable screen is arranged in a cashier position or a customer position. The accelerometer generates orientation data corresponding to the adjustable screen. The processor determines, via an accelerometer driver, an adjustable screen position based on the orientation data. The processor then generates, via the accelerometer driver, a position change notification if the adjustable screen changes position. The processor then provides the position change notification and the adjustable screen position to an application selector. The processor then launches, via the application selector upon receiving the position change notification, an application based on the adjustable screen position. In one example, the launched application is a point-of-sale application if the adjustable screen position is the cashier position. In another example, the launched application is a self-checkout application if the adjustable screen position is the customer position.
Method for displaying multiple application windows by mobile terminal, and mobile terminal
Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method for displaying multiple application windows by a mobile terminal, and a mobile terminal, to display multiple application windows on one display screen based on display resource statuses of the application windows. In one implementation, a current placement direction of the mobile terminal is obtained. A window width and height of a first application window in the current placement direction is determined. If the window width is greater than the window height, a landscape display resource of the first application in the current placement direction is loaded when a user interface of the first application is displayed in the first application window. If the window width is less than the window height, a portrait display resource of the first application in the current placement direction is loaded when a user interface of the first application is displayed in the first application window.
Device orientation based gaming experience
Disclosed are various methods for determining a wagering game to play on a client device. In some embodiments, the method includes receiving data describing an orientation of a client device and determining, based at least upon the orientation of the client device, a number of symbols to display in connection with a wagering game. The number of paylines to provide may be determined based on the orientation of the client device. An outcome of the wagering game may be determined based at least in part on the determined number of symbols and the determined number of paylines.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE COMPRISING DISPLAY AND SCREEN OPERATION METHOD THEREOF
Disclosed is an electronic device comprising: a display, a sensor configured to detect geometric deformation of the electronic device, at least one processor, and a memory operatively connected to the at least one processor and storing at least one application. The memory may include one or more instructions which, when executed, cause the at least one processor to: control the display to display an execution screen of the at least one application on the display in response to execution of the at least one application in the memory; check a rotation mode setting of the electronic device; obtain display characteristic information of the display in response to a geometric deformation event detected by the sensor; determine a display mode of the execution screen based on the display characteristic information and the checked rotation mode setting and map same to the at least one application; and control the display to display the execution screen on the display based on the mapped display mode.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR ADJUSTING WINDOW, ELECTRONIC DEVICE, AND COMPUTER READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM
A method for adjusting a window includes: in response to detecting a first operation for triggering a specified position of the window, obtaining at least one candidate proportion of the current window based on a type of the window, and obtaining an actual proportion of the window that varies with the first operation; in response to detecting a second operation for stopping triggering the window, obtaining a difference between the at least one candidate proportion and the actual proportion, and determining a candidate proportion with the smallest difference as a target proportion; and adjusting a proportion of the window from the actual proportion to the target proportion.
