The mount includes: a body; a polygonal boss extending from the body and configured to insert into the rectangular bore; a set of locking jaws arranged on the polygonal boss configured to transiently mate with the set of undercut sections to constrain the polygonal boss within the rectangular bore; and a second set of magnetic elements arranged in a second pattern about the polygonal boss and configured to transiently couple to the first set of magnetic elements to transiently retain the mount against the device case and to drive the set of locking jaws toward the set of undercut sections.
Enhancing a Virtual Communication with a Mobile Communication Device
In an example implementation, a mobile communication device assembly includes a housing having an opening configured and sized to support a display screen of a mobile communication device. A controller is mounted in the housing and configured to communicably couple to the mobile communication device. An angular adjustment assembly is mounted in the housing and including a first motor electrically coupled to the controller; a first gear assembly driveably coupled to the first motor; and a support member coupled to the first gear assembly and extendable, with the first gear assembly, from a first position flush with the housing to a second position angularly extended from the housing.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR DETECTING THE PRESENCE OR ABSENCE OF A PROTECTIVE CASE ON AN ELECTRONIC DEVICE
Various embodiments for the automatic detection of the presence of a protective case on an electronic device are provided herein. Generally, the electronic device includes one or more sensors; a device memory storing an application; a device processor, which upon execution of the application, is configured to: monitor, via at least one first sensor, a trigger condition for detecting the presence of the protective case; detect the trigger condition; in response to detecting the trigger condition, cause the electronic device to vibrate for a pre-determined period of time; collect, via at least one second sensor, sensor data during the pre-determined time; extract at least one feature from the sensor data; based on the extracted at least one feature, determine whether the protective case is applied to the electronic device; and generate an output indicating whether the protective case is applied to the electronic device.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE INCLUDING AIR VENT HOLE
According to various embodiments of the present disclosure, an electronic device may include: a housing including a first support member, and a side structure surrounding at least a portion of an area in which the first support member is provided; a first opening extending from an outer surface of the side structure to an internal space of the housing through at least a portion of the side structure; a second opening provided at one side of the first opening and extending from the outer surface of the side structure to the internal space of the housing through at least a portion of the side structure; a vent hole extending from an inner wall of the second opening and having one end exposed to one surface of the first support member; and a waterproof member at least partially accommodated in the second opening. Various other embodiments are possible.
PROTECTIVE CASE WITH INTEGRATED HAND STRAP
The present disclosure relates to a resilient protective case for mobile computer devices. In particular, the protective case includes a unitary body having a one piece assembly. The unitary body includes an outer frame having retaining members for securing the mobile computer device therein and a backside support member disposed between two side portions of the outer frame. The backside support member includes an upper slot and a lower slot. An integrated strap is disposed in the backside support member, separating the upper slot from the lower slot.
Camera-Compatible Handle Accessory for Mobile Computing Devices
An accessory for a mobile computing device having a camera with a field of view (FOV), includes: an adapter including: an inner wall having a first opening; a retention mechanism configured to releasably retain the mobile computing device against the inner wall with the camera positioned over the first opening; an outer wall joined to the inner wall by a set of side walls, the outer wall having a second opening with a second perimeter larger than a first perimeter of the first opening; a set of channel walls extending between the first perimeter of the first opening and the second perimeter of the second opening, the set of channel walls defining an open channel permitting the camera FOV to traverse the adapter substantially unobstructed; and a handle mount disposed on the outer wall.
Mobile device mounting system
A mobile device mounting system includes a device case and a mount. The device case includes: an insert including a rectangular bore and defining a set of undercut sections about the rectangular bore; and a first set of magnetic elements arranged in a first pattern about the rectangular bore.
