Hydraulic damper with valve block
A hydraulic actuator includes a housing and with a chamber, which is arranged or formed in the housing and in which a piston is mounted movably and divides the chamber into a flexion chamber and an extension chamber. A channel for hydraulic fluid leads from the flexion chamber and the extension chamber into the housing in order to produce a fluidic connection between the flexion chamber and the extension chamber. At least one valve is arranged in the fluidic connection. The channels lead from the housing to a valve block in which the at least one valve is arranged and is fluidically coupled to the channels, and the valve block is connected to the housing.
MODULAR ADJUSTABLE PROSTHETIC VOLUME COMPENSATION SYSTEM
Systems and methods for modular adjustable prosthetic volume compensation are disclosed herein. In one embodiment, a system for adjusting fit of a prosthetic device includes: a pump having a bleed actuator, a plunger and a pressure bulb. The system also includes a bladder fluidically coupled to the pump. The bladder lines a posterior section of an interior of a prosthetic device. A volume of the bladder is changeable by a pumping action of the pump. The volume of the bladder at least partially determines a space available inside the prosthetic device. The bleed actuator is configured to decrease a volume of the bladder. The plunger in operation squeezes the pressure bulb of the pump.
Arm prosthetic device
A prosthetic arm apparatus including a plurality of segments that provide a user of the prosthetic arm apparatus with substantially the same movement capability and function as a human arm. The segments are connectable to one another and connectable to a prosthetic support apparatus that may be adorned by the user. Each segment of the plurality of segments provides a portion of the movement capability, enabling the plurality of connected segments connected to the harness mount to provide substantially the same movement capability as that lacking in the user.
Running blade with deployable heel attachment
Provided herein is a convertible prosthetic running blade having an adjustable, shiftable heel that can be stowed when running and deployed when walking. The shifting can be performed manually and easily by the wearer without the use of tools. The prosthetic running blade generally comprises a foot body having a toe end and an opposing heel end, and a heel attachment adjacent the heel end, which is shiftable from a running position to a walking position. The foot body is generally in the form of an elongated running blade design, which may have similar shape and construction as traditional c-shape or j-shape running blades, although other shapes and constructions may also be used.
INTERCHANGEABLE DISTAL END FOR A PROSTHETIC SOCKET SYSTEM
A prosthetic socket system having an interchangeable distal end, includes a prosthetic socket defining a substantially rigid base, and a funnel formed from a polymeric material and removably attached to the base of a prosthetic socket. The funnel is arranged to be positioned in the base, and is configured and dimensioned to accommodate a distal end of a residual limb.
PROSTHETIC SOCKET SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Systems and methods are described herein for a prosthetic device that includes a premade outer shell socket with an inner surface contour. A prosthetic insert socket is manufactured via a manufacturing process, such as three-dimensional printing, to have an outer contour that corresponds to the inner surface contour of the premade outer shell socket. The prosthetic insert socket is manufactured to have an inner contour that corresponds to a residual limb surface contour of a patient.
Prosthetic Wrist
A prosthetic wrist for terminal devices preserves free rotation under high rotational or axial loads.
Device for the exo-prosthetisation of limbs and other percutaneous applications
A percutaneous collar is made up of a central rigid ring and a flexible mesh inside a microporous silicone disc. The volume of the disc has a three-dimensional network of interconnected micropores forming microchannels connecting both external faces of the disc through the external micropores to the internal flexible mesh wherein the flexible mesh is formed by crossed longitudinal and radial elements or plates which form a plurality of holes.
TRACTION SYSTEM FOR AN AMBULATORY SUPPORT
A traction system for an ambulatory support such as a prosthetic foot blade or a crutch includes a sole plate, a latch assembly, and a strap. The sole plate is couplable to a distal end of the ambulatory support to extend under a bottom side of the ambulatory support and a latch assembly. The latch assembly includes a front catch and a rear catch both fixable at a top side of the ambulatory support with the front catch nearer to the distal end of the ambulatory support than the rear catch, and a lever having a front end and a rear end, the front end releasably latchable to the front catch and the rear end releasably latchable to the rear catch when the lever is pivoted about the latched front end. The strap is secured to the lever and to the sole plate.
PROSTHETIC LEG AND PROSTHETIC LEG CONNECTOR
A prosthetic leg and a prosthetic leg connector are provided, which are capable of enhancing the strength of a plate spring while reducing the weight thereof, as well as adjusting an attachment position of a socket with respect to the plate spring. The prosthetic leg comprises a connector and a plate spring. The plate spring includes a grounding portion coming into contact with the ground, a connecting portion connected to the connector, and a curved portion curving between the grounding portion and the connecting portion. The curved portion curves in only one direction, the grounding portion is formed at one end of the curved portion, and the connecting portion is formed at another end of the curved portion, and includes a connecting surface formed on an inside of a curve of the curved portion. The connector includes an attachment surface that is connected to the socket.
