PRINTING SYSTEM AND METHOD

A printing system and method print different colors onto a target object to form a machine-readable data representation having a symbol contrast of at least 40%. The printing system and method direct print heads to print the different colors by printing a base layer of a first color of the different colors on the target object and printing an upper layer of a different, second color of the different colors on top of the base layer of the first color, or by printing print the machine-readable data representation as an interdigitated data representation by printing the different colors onto the target object so that none of the different colors is printed on top of another color of the different colors.

A code includes a first part printed by using a first pigment, and a second part printed by using a second pigment which is easier to discolor than the first pigment, wherein the code is decodable by using information about discoloration of the second pigment.

Method for labelling products with an optical security feature with a temporal dimension

The present invention is based on a method for marking products using two or more ink formulations, each containing one or more photoluminescent dyes emitting radiation in the range of 380-3000 nm under photon excitation and distinguished by different fluorescence lifetimes, for storing information in serialization and/or track & trace systems and for document security.

The information code has an information code area constituted of colored information cells with two or more colors, the information code area having the specific information recorded using the information cells as information units, and a teacher code area having teacher cells with the same colors and the same number of colors as the information cells so as to identify the colors of the information cells. In the information code, the teacher code area is placed away from the information code area or inside the information code area.

An image label is used to present a barcode and characters and images. The label is printed label with a pre-determined color among various colors such that the characters and images resist subsequent erasure due to friction or chemical materials, etc. A laser beam is projected onto a surface of the barcode. A loss layer is used to form an image in response to the projection of the laser beam. A loss sheet includes a transparent sheet that is placed on the loss layer. A dark sheet is attached at the lower part of the loss sheet, and includes a color ink layer that expresses a pre-determined color among various colors and is attached to the upper part of the loss layer. The color ink layer which has the pre-determined color among the various colors is furnished at the upper part of the transparent sheet.

Distributing structure risk assessment using information distribution stations

One or more aspects of the present application relate to systems and methods for collecting, processing and generating information regarding risk assessments related to fire events. More specifically, one or more aspects of the present application relate to processing of inputs to generate assessments corresponding to a characterization of risk for individual structures within a defined region. Other aspects of the present application relate to processing of inputs to generate assessments corresponding to a modeling or characterization of fire behavior risk within a defined region. Such assessments of structural risk or fire behavior risk can be utilized in accordance with fire mitigation or personnel organization response to structural risk or fire behavior risk.
