APPARATUS FOR EJECTING AT LEAST ONE INTEGRATED CIRCUIT CARD
An apparatus is described. In an embodiment, the apparatus comprises a housing; a tray; an ejector; a push member having two positions, the push member is configured to receive an external force for moving the push member and to operate the ejector to eject the tray to an ejected open position when the push member is moved to a second position and to maintain in the second position; and a switch comprising two electric position; the switch is configured to switch to a first electric position when receiving the external force, and the push member is configured to maintain the switch in the first electric position when the push member is moved to the second position causing the tray to eject; when the tray is returned to a retracted closed position, the push member is moved to a first position causing the switch to switch to a second electric position.
System and method for providing user-accessible card slot
Systems and methods for reducing problems and disadvantages associated with providing a user-accessible card slot are provided. A removable card carrier a configured to mechanically interface an information handling system may include a body and a cover. The body may be adapted to hold a card. The cover may be movably coupled to the body such that exterior surfaces of the cover and the information handling system are substantially flush with each other when card carrier is disposed in the information handling system.
SINGLE-CARD HOLDER, ELECTRONIC DEVICE, AND CARD HOLDER RECOGNITION METHOD
This application relates to the technical field of card holder structures, and provide a single-card holder, an electronic device, a card holder recognition method, and a card holder assembly method The single-card holder includes a card holder body and a filler. The single-card holder has an identifier region for forming an identifier. The card holder body includes a first slot and a second slot. The first slot is configured to mount a card member. The second slot is the same as or different from the first slot. The filler is filled in the second slot, and at least corresponds to part of the identifier region. The electronic device includes a card base and the single-card holder. The single-card holder matches the card base.
Internal card reader skimmer disrupter
A dual antiphase read-head arranged card reader is provided. The card reader includes a first read-head arrangement and a second read-head arrangement. Electromagnetic noise is applied to both the first and second arrangements. Waves associated with the electromagnetic noise on the second arrangement is transformed and applied to the first arrangement canceling the noise on a first read head of the first arrangement. The first read head reads magnetically encoded information on a magnetic strip of a card inserted into a card slot of the card reader free of noise. However, the noise remains present such that any skimmer read head of a skimmer inserted into the card slot is unable to read the magnetically encoded information off the magnetic strip of the card.
Duplex card scanner
A card scanner has a card support mechanism for receiving a card and a camera system. A first mirror is mounted so that a first image of a first side of the card reflects to the camera system when the card is within the card support mechanism. A second mirror mounted is so that a second image of a second side of the card reflects to the mechanism camera when the card is within the card support mechanism. Once the card is within the scanner, the camera system captures the first image of the first side of the card and the second image of the second side of the card.
Card and host apparatus
A host apparatus, into which a card having a nonvolatile semiconductor memory is inserted, issues a check command to the card. The check command instructs to send information on whether the card supports a termination process in which the card shifts into a state ready for a stop of power supply from the host apparatus.
Anti-skimming card reader
Methods and devices are provided for reading both chip and magnetic stripe cards, and in particular for preventing use of a magnetic stripe when a chip is present, in various settings such as fuel dispensers, ATMs, and retail settings. For example, a card reading device is provided that includes a housing and at least one card slot. A smart card reader and a magnetic stripe card reader are disposed within the housing. In one embodiment, a gate is configured to prevent insertion of a card into a rear portion of the card slot when a chip is detected to prevent the magnetic stripe card reader from reading a magnetic stripe. In another embodiment, a first card slot has a first depth that prevents insertion of a magnetic stripe but allows reading of a chip, and a second slot has a depth that allows insertion of a magnetic stripe.
Card processing system
A card processing system may include a card reader read data recorded in the card or record data to the card; and a host control section to control the card processing system. The card reader may include a card insertion part include an insertion port and a control section. The card insertion part may include a light emitting part. The control section may be connected with the host control section and be configured to perform light emission control which controls an emission color and an emitting method. The host control section may be configured to specify a host-side combination of an emission color and an emitting method and be configured to perform the light emission control. The host control section may previously set a predetermined combination of an emission color and an emitting method based on the host side combination of the emission color and the emitting method.
Smart card connection circuit of electronic device and electronic device
A smart card connection circuit of an electronic device which includes a card holder, a travel switch, and a switching unit; a contact of the travel switch is located in the card holder, and an output end of the travel switch is connected to a control end of the switching unit; and when a smart card at a preset position in the card holder leaves the preset position, the smart card leaves the contact of the travel switch, the travel switch controls the switching unit to switch to a second output end, and each signal cable pin on the card holder is grounded by using the switching unit before a power cable pin on the card holder is grounded by using the switching unit. The present invention is applied to electronic devices such as a mobile phone and a tablet computer.
