NEURAL NETWORK CLASSIFIER TRAINED FOR PURCHASING DIFFERENTIATION
Systems and methods for self-checkout at a point-of-sale are provided. The system and method includes using a plurality of radio frequency identification (RFID) transceivers within a store, and an RFID reader configured to receive an RFID code from an RFID tag activated by the plurality of radio frequency identification (RFID) transceivers. The system and method also includes using a classifier configured to determine whether the RFID tag is inside or outside a designated area, wherein the classifier is trained in a manner that a number of items incorrectly identified as being purchased is below a threshold to minimize customer dissatisfaction (CDS) determined as the ratio of the value of items charged to the customer but not purchased by a customer to the total charge to the customer.
SELF CHECKOUT SYSTEM
Systems and methods for is provided for self-checkout at a point-of-sale. The system and method includes a plurality of radio frequency identification (RFID) transceivers, an RFID reader, wherein the RFID reader is configured to receive a response with an RFID code from each of a plurality of RFID tags activated simultaneously by at least one of the plurality of radio frequency identification (RFID) transceivers, and decode the RFID code from the response received from each of the RFID tags, and a classifier configured to determine whether each of the plurality of RFID tags is inside or outside a walk-through checkout area inside a store, wherein the system calculates an amount charged to a customer based on the cost of the items identified as within the walk-through checkout area.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR DATA EXCHANGE WITH ROBOTIC SURGICAL TOOLS USING NEAR FIELD COMMUNICAITON (NFC)
In this patent disclosure, various embodiments of using near-field communication (NFC) to facilitate the transfer of data and power between a robotic surgical system and a surgical tool attached to the robotic surgical system are disclosed. In one aspect, a process for automatically managing surgical tool attachment in a robotic surgical system can begin by detecting an attachment of a surgical tool. The process next establishes a secure near-field communication (NFC) link between a first NFC module embedded in the robotic surgical system and a second NFC module embedded in the surgical tool. Next, the process requests tool calibration data from the surgical tool via the secure NFC link. The process subsequently uses the received tool calibration data to initialize the surgical tool so that the surgical tool is ready for use.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PROACTIVE INFORMATION DISCOVERY WITH MULTIPLE SENSES
According to certain aspects of the disclosure, a computer-implemented method may be used for analytics integration into electronic mediums. The method may include determining at least one insight discovery function from a plurality of insight discovery functions on a user device and enabling a software module based on the selection of the at least one insight discovery functions. Additionally, the method may include determining at least one key term based on the enabled software module, and determining at least one electronic data card associated with the at least one key term. Additionally, the method may include presenting the at least one data card to the user device based on a user interaction with the at least one insight discovery function on the user device.
TRAY
A smart tray for displaying and selling commodities, wherein the tray has at least one panel, and is adaptable to a size and a shape of at least one commodity such that each of the at least one panel can engage with the at least one commodity.
SYSTEM AND METHOD OF SHARING A USER PROFILE
The present invention is directed to a secured system for sharing a user profile comprising an NFC secured tag, the NFC secured tag containing a unique security code, the unique security code associated with a user profile, the NFC secured tag configured to be read by an NFC enabled electronic device; a wearable accessory including the NFC secured tag; a database storing the user profile; a server in electric communication with the database, the server including a processor and a memory in communication with the processor, wherein the memory stores a set of instructions executable by the processor, the set of instructions when executed by the processor, cause the processor to read the unique security code by the NFC enabled electronic device from the NFC secured tag; receive the unique security code from the NFC enabled electronic device; query the unique security code in the database; retrieve the user profile associated with the unique security code from the database; and present the user profile onto the NFC enabled electronic device.
SECURE MOBILE LOCKBOX
A system and method for holding, transporting, and tracking electronically tagged objects maintained in a portable carrier housing includes a locking mechanism for enabling limited authorized access using a proximity sensor recognizing an identity code of an authorized user, a location tracker for detecting the location of the portable carrier, and an inventory logger registering placement and removal of the electronically tagged objects within and out of the portable carrier housing, registering the location of the portable carrier housing at a time of placement or removal of the electronically tagged object, and registering the identity code of the authorized user within proximity of the proximity sensor. The system further includes a transmitter for uploading data from the inventory logger to a database and a receiver for at least receiving instructions for locking the portable carrier housing when detecting an attempted unauthorized access or detecting a condition indicative of unauthorized access.
WIRELESS TAG READING APPARATUS AND CONTROL METHOD FOR A WIRELESS TAG READING APPARATUS
In accordance with an embodiment, a wireless tag reading apparatus includes an antenna, first and second power feeding ports, and a controller. The first power feeding port feeds electric power into the antenna so as to emit the first linearly polarized wave from the antenna. The second power feeding port feeds electric power into the antenna so as to emit the second linearly polarized wave from the antenna. The controller sets a ratio of a time of power feeding from the first power feeding port to a time of power feeding from the second power feeding port to take a value according to a ratio of the number of wireless tags existing in the direction of the first linearly polarized wave to the number of wireless tags existing in the direction of the second linearly polarized wave.
Programable, Refillable Medication Package With Scheduled Metered Dispensing and Med Unit Sensor
A programmable, refillable medication dispenser with scheduled metered medication unit dispensing, includes a main housing, a powered CPU with countdown timer, a multi-unit medication removable refillable cartridge with a (first) lock, a medication release control gate positioned at a medication outlet and connected to a (second) lock being a gate control mechanism, and an in-chamber medication unit sensor. A pharmacist will insert a medicine cartridge into the main housing, locking it in, and will program the CPU to permit a patient to activate dispensing according to a predetermined schedule, and then only when a medication unit is sensed in the chamber. A patient may receive the dispenser and activate medication dispensing according to the programmed schedule and dispense by the timer schedule, only when a medication unit is sensed in the chamber.
