METHOD FOR VALIDATING RADIO FREQUENCY IDENTIFICATION NUMBER
20210248328 · 2021-08-12 ·

Methods for producing and validating RFID transponders (e.g., ISO 11784/11785 compliant transponders) with identification number authentication capabilities. A signature indicator and a partial-signature trailer are introduced to the ISO telegram. An encrypted signature or partial signature is introduced to the internal memory of ISO compliant transponders. The encrypted signature can prevent fraudulent duplications of ISO 11784/11785 transponders by allowing users to securely validate the transponders' authenticity.

SYSTEM FOR TRANSMITTING PAYMENT INFORMATION USING MOBILE TERMINAL AND METHOD THEREOF

In order to process a mobile transaction offline, a user terminal transmits a mobile transaction code and a merchant terminal ID to a payment information transmission server and the payment information transmission server transmits a payment information message including the mobile transaction code to a merchant terminal, so that it is possible to process mobile transactions through a unified user interface despite different payment plans of various payment service providers.

SEAMLESS APP DOWNLOAD

A system and method for seamless app download is described herein. The system and method described herein make it as easy as possible for a customer to download an app on their phone from the car and securely login to that app from the car. A method described herein involves a process where a generic or personalized audio ad is delivered to the listener to motivate them to upgrade their plan to listen to that channel.

RADIO TAG COMMUNICATION DEVICE, RADIO TAG COMMUNICATION METHOD, AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
20210232882 · 2021-07-29 ·

According to one embodiment, a radio tag communication device includes an antenna configured to transmit an interrogation signal and receive a response signal from a radio tag transmitting the response signal in response to the interrogation signal. A radio tag communication control unit of the device is configured to cause the antenna to repeatedly transmit the interrogation signal from a start time of an object conveyance until a reception strength of the response signal received by the antenna is equal to or greater than a predetermined threshold, and then perform writing on the radio tag via the antenna once the reception strength of the response signal received by the antenna is equal to or greater than the predetermined threshold.

RFID data collecting device, and RFID data collection system

To provide a safe RFID data collecting device and an RFID data collection system with which there is no leakage of information being written to an RFID tag or information being read from the RFID tag, even if communication with the RFID tag is intercepted. This RFID data collecting device includes an RFID reader 10, a wired and wireless LAN connecting unit 20, a portable telephone communication unit 30, and a system control unit 40 including a processor 41 and a memory 42, wherein: the system control unit 40 is provided with a common key system encryption/decryption function; data written to an RFID tag 80 are encrypted before being written; data read from the RFID tag 80 are decrypted after being read; and a common key for encryption/decryption is saved in a SIM card 32 provided in the portable telephone communication unit.

Duplex long range backscatter wireless communication systems and methods

Systems and methods for a full-duplex backscatter system. An example method includes outputting, via a transmitter of the backscatter system, a single tone carrier for transmission via an antenna of the backscatter system. A tunable impedance network is tuned via a microcontroller to reduce self-interference associated with the signal tone carrier by at least a threshold level, with the tunable impedance network including passive elements which are configured to be tuned, and with the self-interference reduction by the threshold level being in the analog domain. Backscatter data packets are received via a receiver from backscatter tags, with the backscatter data packets being associated with an offset frequency and are decoded by the receiver.

Accurate images in graphical user interfaces to enable data transfer

Systems, methods, and computer-readable media for providing accurate images of cards. An application executing on a mobile device may receive authentication credentials for an account, determine a card associated with the account, and determine a card manufacturer identifier (CMID) of the card. The application may receive, from a digital asset management system based on the CMID, a plurality of metadata attributes of the card and one or more images of the card. The application may determine, based on the metadata attributes and attributes of the mobile device, a first orientation of the card to enable near-field communication (NFC) data transfer between the card and the mobile device. The application may select a first image of the card. The application may generate a graphical user interface (GUI) including the first image and an indication specifying to tap the card to the mobile device according to the first orientation.

Pallet sled and delivery system

A pallet sled includes a pair of tines extending forward from a base. A load wheel supports each of the pair of tines. The load wheels are each configured to move away from the respective tine to lift the respective tine upward relative to a support surface on which the load wheel is supported. A processor on the pallet sled records usage of the sled, such as lift cycles, location over time, battery condition, lift height, weight lifted, distance traveled, and the like. A communication circuit may be configured to send data from the pallet sled to a remote server. An identification reader may be configured to read an identification tag of an object supported on the pair of tines, such as an rfid tag on a pallet.

Identifying an asset sort location

Systems and methods for facilitating the sorting of assets to sort locations. In various embodiments, a sort employee scans an asset indicia using a user device, which stores asset data corresponding to the stored asset. As the sort employee nears a sort location (e.g., a delivery vehicle) with the asset and the user device, the user device automatically communicates wirelessly with a sort location receiver to associate the asset data with data indicative of the sort location where the user deposits the asset. In various embodiments, a device may determine whether the user device is proximate the appropriate sort location for the item, and may generate an alert upon a determination that the user device is proximate an incorrect sort location.

SELF-SERVICE MODULAR DROP SAFES WITH TECHNOLOGY SHELF REPLACEMENT CAPABILITY

Novel modular smart management devices in the form of drop safes include the modular components of a chassis, door and technology cabinet. The drop safes enable retailers to make cash deposits quickly and safely within or near their own facilities. Various technology, including RFID readers, RFID tags, and other equipment allow the drop safes to identify each deposited bag. Employees utilize specialized apps on their mobile devices to facilitate deposit creation and other tasks. Novel methodologies for accessing the drop safes for emptying employ single-use, time-expiration type authorization codes along with other security measures to minimize risk and to provide other benefits. Novel structures along with methodologies for replacing, on-site, modular components with auto-detection of functionality during initialization and re-initialization enables for efficient replacement and upgrading of components, including the upgrading of safes to provide additional functionality.
