A scanning device includes a base, an upper cover pivotally covered to the base, a motor mounted to the base, two roller assemblies, a sensor mounted in the first channel, and a card supporting mechanism. A first channel, a scanning channel and a second channel are formed between the upper cover and the base. The scanning channel has a scanning read line. The first channel, the scanning channel and the second channel are communicated with one another. The two roller assemblies are connected with and driven by the motor. The card supporting mechanism is mounted to the base. The card supporting mechanism includes a blocking board movably disposed behind the second channel along the longitudinal direction, and a front surface of the blocking board is parallel to the scanning read line and orthogonal to the second channel.

A card processing apparatus includes a card insertion opening, and a card insertion detection sensor. A magnetic card is to be inserted in the card insertion opening. The card insertion detection sensor is configured to detect the magnetic card inserted in the card insertion opening. A magnetic head is provided near the card insertion opening and is configured to detect a change in an electromagnetic field and output a magnetic signal. A control unit is configured to: receive the magnetic signal from the magnetic head when the card insertion detection sensor detects the magnetic card; receive magnetic signal from the magnetic head when the card insertion detection sensor does not detect the magnetic card; acquire the magnetic signal when the magnetic signal includes a predetermined pattern; and discard the magnetic signal when the magnetic signal does not include the predetermined pattern.

An electronic card receiving device, including a housing, a card stand, a rotating shaft, and a contact element, is provided. The housing includes a front plate having an opening. The card stand is disposed in an inner space of the housing and includes a plate section, a connecting section, and a hook section. The connecting section is connected between the plate section and the hook section. A terminal of the hook section protrudes toward the opening. The rotating shaft is attached to the plate section and is lower than the opening. An axis of the rotating shaft is substantially parallel to the front plate. The rotating shaft rotates to drive the card stand to oscillate between an initial configuration and a card-reading configuration. The contact element is disposed on the plate section of the card stand. A method of using an electronic card receiving device is also provided.
