Embodiments may include a reception processor that receives image data corresponding to an image including a plurality of image objects. A controller may determine whether image objects are in contact with a boundary of a printing area of medium, and, based on a result of the determination, may perform expansion processing on one of the plurality of image objects that is in contact with the boundary of the printing area of the medium to expand image objects in contact with the boundary of the printing area and does not perform expansion processing on image objects not in contact with the boundary of the printing area of the medium such image objects not in contact with the boundary of the printing area are not expanded. Expansion image data including the expanded image objects and image objects on which expansion processing is not performed may be generated and output.

An information processing apparatus prints, when a first product is read by a reading apparatus, a first work instruction sheet including information about all products to be delivered to a first destination of the read first product, prints, if all products to be delivered to the first destination are read by the reading apparatus, a first shipping label for delivery to the first destination, determines, if a second product to be delivered to a second destination different from the first destination is read by the reading apparatus, whether any other product is to be delivered to the second destination, and prints, if it is determined that there no other product is to be delivered to the second destination, a second shipping label for delivery to the second destination.

An image forming apparatus includes a storage section that stores a medium setting including information representing a printing area on a printing medium, a printing section that performs printing on the printing medium based on the medium setting stored in the storage section, a determining section that determines whether a first medium setting included in a print job sent from an information processing apparatus and including information representing a printing area on a printing medium differs from a second medium setting stored as the medium setting in the storage section, and a controller that changes the medium setting stored in the storage section from the second medium setting to the first medium setting, when the determining section determines that the first medium setting differs from the second medium setting.

A label issuing system includes a label issuing apparatus and a label printer. The label issuing apparatus includes a printer interface and a processor. The processor is configured to generate print data for an image including a first region with first information and a second region with a first code symbol and a second code symbol each representing the first information but being of different sizes. The processor controls the printer interface to transmit the print data to the label printer. The label printer is connectable to the printer interface and configured to print the image on a label based on the print data received through the printer interface symbol.

A graphics adaptation method for printable ceramic supports. Images are printed on sample ceramic supports starting from an original image file. A sample printed image is acquired. Sample points representative of the sample image are selected. Original points present in the original image file are also selected. A point-based matching is sought between the sample points and the original points, on the basis of which the original image file is modified and an adapted image file is determined, thus adapting the graphics of the original image file to the graphics of the sample image. A graphics adaptation system based on the method is also described.

A non-transitory computer-readable recording medium for an information processing apparatus contains instructions which cause, when executed by a controller, the information processing apparatus to perform identifying a sheet size of a sheet which is used for printing based on identifying data, the identifying data being received through the input interface and identifying the sheet size based on the received identifying data, receiving image data which is output by the application, when the received image data represents an image in which a first object is arranged, when the size of the image is a first size, and when the identified sheet size is a second size, extracting object image data representing the first object from the image data received in the receiving process, generating printing data, and outputting the generated printing data to be transmitted to the printer through the communication interface.

A printing apparatus includes a transport roller applying a transport force to a label sheet having a backing sheet to which a label is attached, a printing head performing printing on the label sheet, a detaching roller configured to apply to the backing sheet a tension for detaching the label from the backing sheet at a detaching unit that detaches the label from the backing sheet and apply a transport force to the backing sheet from which the label was detached, and a control unit controlling the transport roller and the detaching roller, wherein the control unit controls driving of the transport roller and the detaching roller such that a front tension, which is a tension applied to the label sheet at the position of the transport roller, when the label sheet is back-fed to upstream in the transport path, is smaller than a front tension when the label sheet is front-fed to downstream.

An information processing device includes: a generation unit generating a sample image showing each of a first surface and a second surface that are next to each other of a label attachment target object having a plurality of surfaces, and a first image and a second image allocated to the first surface and the second surface, respectively, in association with each other; and a display processing unit performing control to display, on a display unit, a print setting screen for a printer printing a label, the print setting screen including the sample image.

An advertising system and its method of use are disclosed. The advertising system includes at least one sensor coupled to a fixed location, where the at least one sensor is configured to generate an impression based on at least one characteristic of a proximate automobile, at least one processor configured to receive the impression, at least one server, having an advertising database and a user database, and at least one delivery mechanism. Preferably, the advertising database contains information relating to at least one advertisement and the user database is configured to check if the at least one characteristic matches an existing entry for a user, and either associate that impression with a user or create a new entry for the impression.
