Color Correction Device, Printing System, Color Correction Method, And Non-Transitory Computer-Readable Storage Medium Storing Program
A color correction device includes: a color conversion unit configured to convert an input value in an input color space into an output value in an output color space; a selection unit configured to receive a selection, as a target color component, of one or more color components among a plurality of color components used in a printing device; and a correction unit configured to correct the output value in a manner of reducing the target color component when the input value represents a color not including the target color component.
LIGHT SCANNING APPARATUS AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A light scanning apparatus satisfies the following conditions: 0.60 (dY.sub.max/d)/(dY.sub.0/d)0.98; and 0.50<Sk/ft<1.00, where, when a deflecting unit rotates at a constant angular velocity, represents a scanning angle between a principal ray of a light flux immediately after deflected by the deflecting unit and an optical axis of an imaging optical system, Y.sub.0 represents an on-axis image height, Y.sub.max represents a first outermost off-axis image height on a side opposite to a light source with respect to the optical axis of the imaging optical system in a main scanning cross section, ft represents a focal distance of the imaging optical system in the main scanning cross section, and Sk represents a distance between a rear-side principal plane of the imaging optical system and a scanned surface on an optical path of a principal ray of the light flux that travels to the on-axis image height.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR THREE-DIMENSIONAL PRINT ORIENTED IMAGE SEGMENTATION
A system and method for converting imaging data, for example, medical imaging data, to three-dimensional printer data. Imaging data may be received describing for example a three-dimensional volume of a subject or patient. Using printer definition data describing a particular printer, 3D printer input data may be created from the imaging data describing at least part of the three-dimensional volume.
MEDIA CAPTURE AND MERCHANDISE PRODUCTION SYSTEM AND METHOD
A system and method for capturing media and for printing the captured media onto an article of merchandise. The system includes a mobile application that overlays one or more print dielines corresponding to the printable areas of one or more types of merchandise onto an associated camera display. In this way, the system provides, prior to the capturing of the photograph, a visual indication of the subject matter within the photograph (e.g., within the overlaid print dielines) that will be cropped and printed onto the merchandise. As such, a user may properly arrange the subject matter of the photograph (e.g., people) within the print dieline prior to capturing the photograph. The system subsequently communicates the portion of the photograph within the print dieline to a printing system to print the portion onto the merchandise. The system derives the print dielines from graphic files that correspond to the merchandises' printable areas.
Non-transitory computer readable recording medium that records a program for causing a computer of an information processing apparatus to generate printable data utilizing cached commands, and information processing apparatus that generates printable data
A non-transitory computer readable recording medium recording a program for causing an information processing apparatus to function as: a control circuit that determines whether a rendering command of a document created using presentation software is a first-page rendering command, when determined as the first-page rendering command, caches it, generates first-page printable data based on the first-page rendering command and caches it, and when determined as a rendering command of one of second and subsequent pages, determines whether at least parts thereof and the first-page rendering command are in common, and generates, when determined that at least parts thereof and the first-page rendering command are in common, printable data of the one of second and subsequent pages using the first-page printable data; and a communication interface that transmits the printable data to an image forming apparatus.
IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS, IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD, AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER-READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM
There is provided an image processing apparatus that comprises at least one processor and at least one memory coupled to the at least one processor. The at least one memory stores instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the at least one processor to generate first bitmap data and second bitmap data different from the first bitmap data based on PDL data, acquire, based on an analysis result of the first bitmap data, a gamut mapping table that associates the second bitmap data with a print color gamut, correct the second bitmap data based on the gamut mapping table, and generate quantized image data based on the corrected second bitmap data.
Printer control system, printing system, printing data creation method, and printing method
A printer control system for controlling an inkjet printer that prints an image having a predetermined thickness on a print medium includes: an image data creating/editing portion, configured for creating and editing an image data; and a printer control portion, configured for converting the image data sent from the image data creating/editing portion into a printing data and sending the printing data to the inkjet printer. When a portion for allowing the image to have a thickness in the image printed on the print medium is defined as a thick portion, the image data sent from the image data creating/editing portion to the printer control portion includes at least one of: a thickness information regarding a thickness of the thick portion, and a shape information regarding a shape of an end portion of the thick portion.
Host computer, control method of a host computer, and medium
A printer driver enables appropriately executing real-time commands without causing operating errors even when print data is compressed for transmission to a printer. A driver causing a host computer that connects to a printer to execute a process, including causing the host computer to generate first commands executed by the printer in the order received, and second commands executed with priority over the first commands; generate print data including the first commands and send the print data to the printer; and execute a compression process converting data of the first commands contained in the print data to compressed data not containing a data train identical to a second command when generating the print data.
PRINT FRAMES CREATION
An example system includes a controller. The controller is to determine a first end point of a previous frame in a first image. The first image is to be printed on a first ribbon. The controller is to determine a second end point of the previous frame in a second image to be printed on a second ribbon. The controller is to create a current frame containing first image data from the first image starting after the first end point, second image data from the second image starting after the second end point, and third image data from a beginning of the first image. The system includes an image engine to form an image corresponding to the current frame on a medium.
INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, CONTROL METHOD THEREFOR, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
By executing parallel processing while keeping a certain parallel number with respect to one user according to a status of processing for converting print data, an information processing apparatus controls the job order and monopolization of computing resources while effectively utilizing scalability of a cloud service.
