A server includes: a storage control section storing, in a storage section, relationship information that indicates a relationship between attribute information indicating an attribute of a user of a device and consumption information indicating consumption of a consumable product of the device; an acquisition section acquiring the attribute information of a first user; and a predicted consumption calculation section calculating, based on the attribute information of the first user and the relationship information, predicted consumption of the consumable product of the device used by the first user.

A sensor circuit for a replaceable print apparatus component comprises an interface to transmit signals with respect to a print apparatus logic circuit, and further comprises, connected to the interface, at least two sensor cell arrays, each array including nominally the same cells, the cells of one array being nominally different than the cells of the other array, and at least one single cell sensor that is nominally different than the other cells.

A management server includes a printing-device management unit that receives consumables information indicating respective usage statuses of a plurality of consumables being used by a printing device from one or more printing devices, an order-timing estimating unit that calculates an estimated order timing at which each of the consumables is to be ordered based on a temporal variation in the usage statuses of each of the consumables, and a consumables-order planning unit that, when there are a plurality of estimated order timings within a predetermined period for one printing device, or when there are a plurality of estimated order timings within a predetermined period for a plurality of printing devices included in a certain neighboring area, changes and outputs a price of consumables associated with the estimated order timings corresponding to delivery statuses of the consumables.

In an example, a printing device may include a cartridge including a print substance, a belt, and a controller including a processing resource and a memory resource. The processing resource may execute instructions to deposit a plurality of patches of the print substance from the cartridge onto the belt to determine a cartridge density based on a density of a sub-set of patches of the plurality of patches; and adjust a print substance output of the cartridge based on the determined density of the print substance in the cartridge.

Examples of a print liquid supply unit are described herein. In some examples, the print liquid supply unit includes a regulator assembly. In some examples, the regulator assembly includes an at least partially expandable or contractible pressure chamber. In some examples, the print liquid supply unit includes a port. In some examples, the print liquid supply unit includes sensor circuitry positioned between the regulator assembly and the port in a print liquid reservoir.

Examples of a print liquid supply unit are described herein. In some examples, the print liquid supply unit includes a first housing component that is welded to a second housing component along a supply joint. In some examples, the print liquid supply unit also includes a conductor situated through the supply joint from an outside of the supply unit to an inside of the supply unit. In some examples, the conductor is sealed in the supply joint with a sealing material.

According to one embodiment, an image forming apparatus includes a printer unit that includes a driving member related to the supply of the developer, a storage unit that stores correction information regarding the correction of a supplied amount of the developer and a remaining amount of the developer, and a control unit. The control unit acquires driving information regarding the driving of the driving member. The control unit acquires the correction information in accordance with the remaining amount of the developer and estimates the remaining amount of developer based on the driving information and the correction information when the remaining amount of the developer stored in the storage unit satisfies a predetermined condition regarding the remaining amount, and estimates the remaining amount of the developer based on the driving information when the remaining amount of the developer stored in the storage unit does not satisfy the predetermined condition.

An image processing apparatus includes circuitry. The circuitry acquires colorant set information indicating at least one colorant set that reproduces a spot color. The circuitry classifies, according to colorant mounting information indicating a colorant mounted on an image forming apparatus, the at least one colorant set into first and second colorant sets. The spot color is reproduceable with the first colorant set without a replacement of the colorant mounted on the image forming apparatus. The spot color is reproduceable with the second colorant set with a replacement of the colorant mounted on the image forming apparatus. The circuitry displays the at least one colorant set on a display on which the at least one colorant set is identifiable as one of the first colorant set and the second colorant set. The circuitry receives a selection of the first colorant set that is used to reproduce the spot color.

An image forming apparatus includes a memory and a controller. The memory stores first mode information indicating whether the apparatus is set to a contract mode or a normal mode, and second mode information indicating whether a print permission mode is active or inactive. The controller sets the second mode information to active information indicating that the print permission mode is active in a state in which the first mode information indicates the normal mode, sets the second mode information to inactive information indicating that the print permission mode is inactive in a state in which the first mode information indicates the contract mode, and rewrites the second mode information to the active information when an instruction to activate the print permission mode is received in a state in which the first mode information indicates the contract mode and the second mode information is set to the inactive information.

An image processing apparatus includes a printer to perform printing using an expendable supply for at least one of a plurality of different colors, and a controller to, when receiving, via a user interface, an ordering operation to order a particular type of supplies selected on an order screen, place an order for the particular type of supplies to an information processing device via a communication interface, and store history information on the particular type of supplies into a memory, the history information indicating an order history of the particular type of supplies and containing information generated based on a most recent order date of the particular type of supplies, and in response to a display trigger, read out the history information on the particular type of supplies from the memory, and display the read history information on a display such that the particular type of supplies is identified.
