MANAGEMENT SYSTEM, METHOD, MANAGEMENT SERVER, AND COMPUTER-READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM STORING PROGRAM
A printing apparatus management server manages a plurality of printing apparatuses, obtains, in response to a request from a voice device management server, information of a predetermined printing apparatus registered, from the plurality of printing apparatuses, as a printing apparatus to be used in the printing apparatus management server, transmits, to the voice device management server, the obtained information of the predetermined printing apparatus, obtains remaining amount information transmitted from the predetermined printing apparatus, and transmits the obtained remaining amount information to the consumable item management server. Voice notification to a user is performed, via a voice device configured to communicate with the voice device management server, based on the obtained remaining amount information, and processing for placing an order for the consumable item is performed based on a voice instruction from the user accepted by the voice device.
PRINT SUBSTANCE OUTPUT ADJUSTMENTS
In an example, a printing device may include a cartridge including a print substance, a belt, and a controller including a processing resource and a memory resource. The processing resource may execute instructions to deposit a plurality of patches of the print substance from the cartridge onto the belt to determine a cartridge density based on a density of a sub-set of patches of the plurality of patches; and adjust a print substance output of the cartridge based on the determined density of the print substance in the cartridge.
PRINT LIQUID SUPPLY UNITS
Examples of a print liquid supply unit are described herein. In some examples, the print liquid supply unit includes a first housing component that is welded to a second housing component along a supply joint. In some examples, the print liquid supply unit also includes a conductor situated through the supply joint from an outside of the supply unit to an inside of the supply unit. In some examples, the conductor is sealed in the supply joint with a sealing material.
SENSOR CIRCUITRY
Examples of a print liquid supply unit are described herein. In some examples, the print liquid supply unit includes a regulator assembly. In some examples, the regulator assembly includes an at least partially expandable or contractible pressure chamber. In some examples, the print liquid supply unit includes a port. In some examples, the print liquid supply unit includes sensor circuitry positioned between the regulator assembly and the port in a print liquid reservoir.
DEVICE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM, SERVER, AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING DEVICE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
A server includes: a storage control section storing, in a storage section, relationship information that indicates a relationship between attribute information indicating an attribute of a user of a device and consumption information indicating consumption of a consumable product of the device; an acquisition section acquiring the attribute information of a first user; and a predicted consumption calculation section calculating, based on the attribute information of the first user and the relationship information, predicted consumption of the consumable product of the device used by the first user.
MANAGEMENT APPARATUS AND MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
Provided is a management apparatus includes: an acquisition unit acquiring remaining-quantity information indicating a remaining quantity of a consumable included in the image forming apparatus; a database storing the remaining-quantity information and image forming apparatus identification information in association with each other, and storing user identification information and a usage history of the image forming apparatus by the user in association with each other; a calculation unit reading the usage history from the database based on externally-designated user identification information, calculating a predicted usage quantity of the consumable in an image forming apparatus having externally-designated apparatus identification information based on the read usage history, reading the remaining-quantity information from the database based on the externally-designated apparatus identification information, generating required information on the consumable based on the read remaining-quantity information and the calculated predicted usage quantity; and a notification unit notifying the required information generated by the calculation unit.
Image forming apparatus, recording medium, and control method for visually displaying unresolved errors
An image forming apparatus includes a CPU. When an error occurs, the CPU notifies a user or the like of the error and adds information about the error to an error table. When the error is resolved, the CPU deletes the information about the resolved error from the error table. The CPU refers to the error table and displays, on a display, a home screen in which a badge indicating the number of unresolved errors in each operation mode is displayed. When a mode selection button on which the badge is displayed is touched, the CPU re-notifies the user of the unresolved errors.
LIQUID SURFACE DETECTOR, IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS, AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING LIQUID SURFACE DETECTOR
A liquid surface detector includes an electrode pad, a coil, a memory, and a detection control circuit. The electrode pad is attached to an outer side surface of a tank of the image forming apparatus. The coil is connected to the electrode pad. The memory stores initial values. The detection control circuit determines a capacitance (first capacitance) of a first resonance circuit including the coil and the tank with the electrode pad. When determining a liquid surface level value, the detection control circuit subtracts an error value from the first capacitance so as to determine a first corrected capacitance, and determines the liquid surface level value based on the first corrected capacitance and the initial value.
INFORMATION PROCESSING DEVICE, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER-READABLE RECORDING MEDIUM THEREFOR
An information processing device according to aspects of the present disclosures configured to determine whether a managed device is a mobile device or a stationary device. When it is determined that the managed device is the mobile device, a first threshold value is set as a threshold value, and when it is determined that the managed device is the stationary device, a second threshold value is set as the threshold value. When it is determined that the remaining amount of the consumable is equal to or less than the threshold value, the information processing device issues a notification regarding the remaining amount of the consumable associated with the managed device. The notification is issued earlier in a case where the threshold value is the first threshold value than in a case where the threshold value the second threshold value.
Image forming apparatus and control method for image forming apparatus
An image forming apparatus on which a replaceable container storing a recording material is mounted includes an image forming unit configured to form an image using the recording material, a determination unit configured to determine whether the container satisfies a predetermined condition, an acquisition unit configured to acquire an amount of the recording material used for image formation in a predetermined period and stored in the container determined as a container that satisfies the predetermined condition, a memory configured to accumulate information indicating the amount of the recording material acquired by the acquisition unit, and a prediction unit configured to predict a number of days about replacement of the container, based on the information indicating the amount of the recording material and accumulated in the memory.
