Systems for contactless authentication and event processing are provided. In some examples, functionality of a self-service kiosk may be requested. In response, a user may be authenticated and a first interactive user interface may be generated and displayed by the self-service kiosk. A second, different interactive user interface may be generated and transmitted for display by an event processing device. A user may select an option displayed by the event processing device. The user selection may be made via the second interactive user interface. The user selection may then cause the self-service kiosk to execute the selected function.

Credit card with chromogenic features

A credit card with an obscurable account identifier. The credit card further comprises a substrate defining a first surface with a chromogenic feature wherein the chromogenic feature is capable of changing from a first state and a second state based on an activating trigger. In the first state, the chromogenic feature appears with a first optical property that obscures the account identifier, and in the second state, the chromogenic feature appears with a second optical property that reveals the account identifier.

A method implemented in an electronic entity capable of implementing a plurality of applications includes the following steps: detecting an electrical signal (D; D′); reading, in a memory of the electronic entity, information relating, among the plurality of applications, to a previously selected application; and transmitting a command (CMD) to deliver an indication associated with the application to which the read information relates. An associated electronic entity is also described.

COMMUNICATION DEVICE TO SENSE ONE OR MORE BIOMETRIC CHARACTERISTICS OF A USER

A communication device for sensing one or more biometric characteristics of a user. The device includes a cover structure, a layer of output pixel elements, a layer of biometric input pixel elements, and a processor. The cover structure includes an exterior surface. The layer of output pixel elements is positioned below the exterior surface and configured to provide an output through the exterior surface toward the user. The output pixel elements being at least one of light emitting pixel elements and piezoelectric-out pixel elements. The layer of biometric input pixel elements is positioned below the exterior surface to receive a reflected biometric input passing from the user through the exterior surface. The biometric input pixel elements being at least one of light detecting and piezoelectric-in pixel elements. The processor is connected to the biometric input pixel elements to process the reflected biometric input.

An circuit includes a first inductive coil and a second inductive coil each including a plurality of metal traces. The first and second inductive coils are each configured to receive a first signal from an electromagnetic field and generate respective first and second output voltages. Each of the first inductive coil and the second inductive coil are configured to inductively couple to the electromagnetic field. A first circuit element is configured to receive the first output voltage and generate a first response at a first power level of the first output voltage. A second circuit element is configured to receive the second output voltage and transition to an active state to perform one or more functions when the second output voltage exceeds a second power level. The first and second power levels are related to movement of the first and second inductive coils through the electromagnetic field.
