Method for connecting an item of dishware to an information carrier, and apparatus comprising an item of dishware and an information carrier
The present invention concerns a method of connecting an item of dishware (1) to a contactlessly readable electronic information carrier (2) comprising the steps: providing the item of dishware (1), wherein the item of dishware (1) comprises a material selected from a group consisting of glass, ceramic and plastic or a combination thereof, and attaching the information carrier to the item of dishware. Contactlessly readable electronic information carriers applied to a self-adhesive carrier film are known. They can also be adhesively bonded to an item of dishware for identification thereof. In comparison according to the invention the above-mentioned method is further developed in that it further includes the steps: applying a cover layer of printing ink in such a way that the cover layer at least portion-wise covers a surface of the information carrier and the cover layer extends over a portion, which is not covered by the information carrier, on the surface of the item of dishware.
METHOD FOR ESTIMATING A QUANTITY OF A BLOOD COMPONENT IN A FLUID RECEIVER AND CORRESPONDING ERROR
A method and system for communicating estimated blood loss parameters of a patient to a user, the method comprising: receiving data representative of an image, of a fluid receiver; automatically detecting a region within the image associated with a volume of fluid received at the fluid receiver, the volume of fluid including a blood component; calculating an estimated amount of the blood component present in the volume of fluid based upon a color parameter represented in the region, and determining a bias error associated with the estimated amount of the blood component; updating an analysis of an aggregate amount of the blood component and an aggregate bias error associated with blood loss of the patient, based upon the estimated amount of the blood component and the bias error; and providing information from the analysis of the aggregate amount of the blood component and the aggregate bias error, to the user.
Cards and devices with multifunction magnetic emulators and methods for using same
A payment card (e.g., credit and/or debit card) is provided with a magnetic emulator operable of communicating information to a magnetic stripe reader. Information used in validating a financial transaction is encrypted based on time such that a validating server requires receipt of the appropriate encrypted information for a period of time to validate a transaction for that period of time. Such dynamic information may be communicated using such an emulator such that a card may be swiped through a magnetic stripe reader—yet communicate different information based on time. An emulator may receive information as well as communicate information to a variety of receivers (e.g., an RFID receiver).
Unique Secured Product Identification
A unique secured product identification method, system, and apparatus for product such as precious gemstones prevent counterfeiting by incorporating a marked product with fake identification (ID) mark or fake barcode. Authentication process requires at least two identifying data sets, an overt mark or overt data and covert data. The overt data may be a unique product identifier like a barcode. Covert data may be any additional data derived from the specific product. Additional data points come from a created data point not originally part of the product, or a unique data point already existing in the product but not existing in any other similar product. Product is authenticated when the combination of data sets compared to original data sets creates positive product identification. Authentication may be done with centralized, or de-centralized databases. A partially or non-automated method may be implemented, for example, where a barcode links to a database.
Method for connecting an item of dishware to an information carrier and apparatus comprising an item of dishware and an information carrier
According to the invention there is provided a method of connecting a crockery item to a contactless readable electronic information carrier comprising the steps: providing the crockery item, the crockery item comprising a material selected from a group consisting of glass, ceramic and plastic or a combination thereof, applying a carrier layer to a surface of the crockery item, applying the information carrier to a surface of the carrier layer, that is remote from the surface of the crockery item, wherein a base surface of the information carrier is smaller than a surface of the carrier layer, and applying a cover layer of printing ink in such a way that the cover layer at least portion-wise covers a surface of the information carrier, that is remote from the carrier layer, and the surface of the carrier layer, wherein the carrier layer includes a plastically deformable material, wherein application of the information carrier to the carrier layer includes impressing the information carrier into the carrier layer.
Working device, working vehicle, working machine, and management system
A working device includes: a working portion configured to perform work; a frame supporting the working portion and being configured to be coupled to a vehicle body; and a wireless tag attached to the working portion or to the frame, having: a storage part configured to store at least identifying information; and a communication part configured to transmit the identifying information.
PRODUCT HAVING DUAL LAYER IDENTIFICATION CODES, PRODUCT TRACEABILITY AND ANTI-COUNTERFEIT AUTHENTICATION METHOD AND APPARATUS
The present application provides a product having dual layer identification codes, a product traceability and anti-counterfeiting authentication method and apparatus. The method includes: receiving a query request sent from a user by scanning a first identification code on a product; providing basic information, a logistic state, and user scanning information of the product matching the first identification code to the user; receiving an authentication request sent from a user by scanning a second identification code on the product; and providing an anti-counterfeiting authentication result of the product matching the second identification code to the user. By the present disclosure, the anti-counterfeiting effect can be guaranteed on a basis of reducing a difficulty in user query.
Method and System for Counting and Identifying Variety of Devices
The invention relates to a method and system that uses ultra-high frequency (UHF) radio frequency identification (RFID) for counting and identifying a variety of objects during medical or surgical operations. The method includes passive UHF RFID tag, a RFID scanner to communicate with host equipment and storage in a database cloud. The method includes a water-proof antenna and microchip supported by a substrate with covering overlay materials. The invention further discloses a tracking method for counting process, with software implementation, to assist the count-in count-out function to track multiple medical devices, resulting in reduction of counting errors during surgical procedures when the current UHF RFID process is utilized.
