A step count measuring apparatus that measures the step count based on a degree of acceleration is provided. The step count measuring apparatus includes a local maximum/minimum value detection unit configured to detect at least one of a local maximum value and a local minimum value of the acceleration during a predetermined time, a threshold value determination unit configured to determine a threshold value based on at least one of the local maximum value and the local minimum value detected by the local maximum/minimum value detection unit, and a step count measuring unit configured to measure the step count based on the acceleration and the threshold value that has been determined by the threshold value determination unit.

Counting system

A counting system has a dispensing assembly, a singulator assembly, a counting assembly, and a control system. The dispensing assembly distributes particles to the singulator assembly which separates the particles into a singulator path and delivers the singulated particles to the counting assembly where the particles are counted and the count displayed on an input and display device.

Electric Plug-In Connector Having a Plugging Cycle Counter

An electric plug-in connector comprising: an electric contact structure accommodated in an enclosure; and a plugging cycle counter including a piezoelectric sensor mechanically connected to the contact structure and/or to the enclosure. The piezoelectric sensor senses joining of the electric contact structure to a corresponding electric contact structure.

TOOL TRACKING AND DATA COLLECTION ASSEMBLY

Tooling and corresponding tool assembly configurations equipped with exemplary designs of tracking assemblies configured to track information, such as use history, and perform a variety of processing and storage functions relative to the same for more efficient use and maintenance of the tooling over their lifetimes. The tracking assemblies can have retrofit-ready constructions.

Passive micromechanical counter

A passive micromechanical counter for counting and storing a number of mechanical pulses includes at least one memory cell, the memory cell having a cell input, a latching mechanism and an electromechanical coding unit, the cell input being designed to mechanically transmit the mechanical pulse to the latching mechanism, and the latching mechanism being designed to store the number of mechanical pulses transmitted by means of its discrete latching position. It is provided that an electrical digital signal can be generated by applying an electrical voltage to the electromechanical coding unit, the electrical digital signal representing the discrete latching position of the latching mechanism.

Counting machine and methods of counting items

In some embodiments, a counting machine may include a counting area configured to count a plurality of items. The counting area may include a fixed pressure plate, a movable pressure plate, and one or more sensors configured to measure the distance between the fixed pressure plate and the movable pressure plate, and a processor configured to determine the number of items in the counting area by comparing a sampled thickness value to the thickness of the items located between the fixed pressure plate and the movable pressure plate.

A finger-wearable anti-stress device having a ring and a main body is provided. The ring extends along and about a rotation axis and delimits a finger seat suitable for housing at least partially a finger of a user. A ring seat is provided in the main body, in which the ring is rotationally engaged with respect to the main body to allow rotation of the main body with respect to the ring and about the rotation axis due to a torque imposed by the finger of the user on the ring. The finger-wearable anti-stress device has a revolution counter sensor configured to count a number of complete relative rotations between the ring and the main body.
