DONNING STATION FOR PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT
A medical gown includes a main body having a neck edge, a first side edge, and a second side edge. The first side edge may extend from the neck edge. The second side edge may extend from the neck edge, opposite the first side edge. The neck edge may define a neck engagement feature between the first and second side edges. The medical gown may further include a first strap feature coupled with the main body and defining a first loop with the first side edge. The medical gown may further include a second strap feature coupled with the main body and defining a second loop with the second side edge.
Disinfection method and apparatus
Photosensitizers are incorporated into articles, such a personal protective equipment. A method of applying continuous and consistent light includes fitting the articles with light sources and optical fibers to apply light to the areas of the articles incorporated with the photosensitizers. Photosensitizers can be applied to articles by various applicators in either a gel or solution. A gel can be particularly effective when used on hydrophobic surfaces. Photodynamic reactor systems can be used to determine the effective doses of photosensitizers and the light dosimetry which can then be applied for use with the articles.

The post-surgical patient gown has a pair of large abdominal pockets coupled to a front side of the body covering garment body, a plurality of zippered openings positioned on the front side of the body covering garment body, a pair of front slits with buttons positioned on either side of a centerline of the front side of the body covering garment body, each front slit being located above a corresponding large abdominal pocket, a pair of side slits with buttons positioned adjacent to each of the pair of sleeves along a vertical line separating the front side of the body covering garment body from a rear side of the body covering garment body, and a rear vertical opening runs the vertical length of the rear side of the body covering garment body.
Apparatus and method for stabilizing a human anatomical joint
A garment of the present invention comprises a closed tensionable loop for stabilizing a human knee. The loop is arranged to freely move along a conduit within the garment and is provided with a tensioner. The conduit crosses over itself between the lateral and a medial side on the anterior of the leg at least one of above and below the knee to provide compression on the ligaments of the knee when the loop is tensioned. The conduit circles the lower leg at a distal region of the triceps surae, thereby providing an anchor to the lower leg. An anchor is provided at or above the thigh. A method for stabilizing the knee using the tensionable loop involves positioning the garment so as to ensure that the conduit follows a predetermined path on the leg that places the loop over at least one of the two collateral ligaments of the knee and the tensioner is operated to adjust the compression on the ligaments.
CLINICAL GARMENT WITH A CONVECTIVE DEVICE
Aspects of the present disclosure relate to a warming device that includes a clinical garment and a first pneumatic convective device. The clinical garment includes an inner surface for facing the patient and having an inner surface area. The clinical garment has a hemline and forms a longitudinal axis. The first pneumatic convective device can have an air-permeable layer having a pneumatic surface area, the pneumatic surface area is at least 25% of the inner surface area in a deployed state. The warming device can include a first inlet for admitting a stream of pressurized, warmed air into the first pneumatic convective device. The second end of the first pneumatic convective device extends past the hemline when in the deployed state, and, when the first pneumatic convective device is in a folded state, the second end extends no greater than 3 inches past the hemline.
MEDICAL GARMENT FOR CHEST DEVICES AND PROCEDURES
Embodiments of the disclosure include a medical garment that resembles a shirt. The medical garment includes a body that includes a front portion attached to a back portion by one or more non-partable seams. The medical garment includes first and second sleeves on opposite sides of the medical garment. The first and second sleeves are coupled to the front portion and the back portion of the medical garment. The medical garment includes a partable seam having a zippered opening formed in the medical garment that extends from a collar area of the medical garment toward a bottom part of one of the sleeves where the sleeve attaches to the body. The partable seam also includes a zipper to close the zippered opening and hold the zippered opening in a closed position. The medical garment is configured to expose the patient's chest area when the zippered opening is in an open position, and resembles a standard shirt when the zippered opening is in the closed position.
