DIRECT TRUCK ASSIGNMENT SYSTEM
A direct truck assignment system, device and method that allows for efficient assignment of a driven or autonomous vehicle from amongst a group of available, unassigned delivery vehicles within a container loading area, and arranging the assignment and transportation of a container directly with the selected vehicle, eliminating the need for prior matching and assignment before the truck(s) arrive at the container loading area or the need for a third party intermediary in the delivery assignment and vehicle engagement processes.
Managing and tracking shipments
The present invention extends to methods, systems, and computer program products for managing and tracking shipments. Aspects of the invention provide an automated tracking and management system that allows interested parties (e.g., customers, truckers, carriers, consignees, manufacturers, importers, exporters, freight forwarders, etc.) to manage and track shipments across various different and diverse transportation legs between an origin and a destination. The tracking and management system (or “the system”) facilitates more efficient shipment logistics for interested parties in a number of ways. The system can provide truckers with information about a container (e.g., empty or full) or pallet or other shipment that is to be picked up at a location for further transportation.

Apparatus, method, and computer-readable medium for making a product while riding on a mobile object
An information processing apparatus includes a control unit configured to execute: acquiring information regarding a request of a user making a product while riding on a mobile object; acquiring information regarding an article used in making the product; acquiring information regarding a location of the article; and generating an operation command of the mobile object such that the mobile object carrying the user travels via the location of the article.
Secure Shipping Interactions Using Blockchains
Technologies are shown for securing private information during shipping of an item storing shipping information at a blockchain address that includes a recipient geolocation address and generating a shipping label that includes a machine-readable pointer to the blockchain address. The label can be scanned to obtain the blockchain address and request the shipping information. In response to a request, the recipient geolocation address or a next intermediate shipper can be provided. The recipient can be notified to obtain authorization to release the recipient geolocation address or provide an alternative geolocation for delivery.
System and method for managing retail product returns
The present application generally relates to methods and systems for facilitating the return and exchange processes of unwanted retail products, and it more specifically relates to coordinating the pickup, drop-off, and delivery of unwanted products from the customer to the retailer. The methods and systems of the present application being designed to facilitate the product return and exchange processes without the need for the customer's credit card or other payment information. The methods and systems of the present application being designed to facilitate earlier confirmation to the retailer that the product has been picked up from the customer.

Process of combining multiple carriers for international shipping
Disclosed is a method process of online rating for international import and export shipments. The rating combines multiple carriers together in order to provide one cohesive international service. The consumer can obtain a door to port or door to door rate when employing a pick up carrier, such as a trucking company, and an airline or ocean carrier as well as a destination delivery company. The method provide a real time monetary rate costs based upon the closest terminal and determines which terminal to terminal rate to use for the air or ocean portion as well as providing a pick up rate for that service. The process further estimates the multiple ocean and air rate costs from various vendors associated with a shipment and stores these rate costs through a database to be used at a later date for verification.
Systems and methods for return logistics for merchandise via autonomous vehicle
An autonomous robotic vehicle includes a conveyance system, a securable compartment configured to autonomously lock and unlock, a customer identification reader, at least one processor, and a memory storing instructions which, when executed by the at least one processor, causes the autonomous robotic vehicle to, autonomously: travel to a destination location of a customer; capture, by the customer identification reader at the destination location, a customer identification object; determine that the captured customer identification object matches an identity of the customer; unlock the securable compartment based on the determination; capture, by the product identification reader, a product identifier; and accept a product to be returned by locking the securable compartment. The securable compartment contains a product identification reader.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PRESENTING AUTONOMOUS DELIVERY MECHANISMS AND NON-AUTONOMOUS DELIVERY MECHANISMS
A system presents a plurality of objects on a delivery user interface. The system updates content of a memory resource as one or more objects are added to the memory resource. In response to determining that the content of the memory resource is finalized, the system determines a selection of a particular autonomous delivery mechanism and a particular non-autonomous delivery mechanism based on filtering conditions associated with the content of the memory resource. The system presents the selection of the particular autonomous delivery mechanism and the particular non-autonomous delivery mechanism on a delivery user interface. The system determines that a delivery mechanism is selected from the selection. The system receives one or more status updates associated with the selected delivery mechanism, and displays the one or more status updates on the delivery user interface.
