Systems and methods for managing and/or facilitating return shipment of items
Systems and methods which facilitate return shipment of items, such as to provide for the return of goods from a purchaser to a merchant, are shown. Embodiments provide shipping management functionality for managing return requests, processing of return requests, authorizing returns, tracking of the processing of a return request, and/or tracking of return shipments. A shipping management system of embodiments operates to make shipping functionality and/or information utilized with respect to return shipments, which may not otherwise be readily available to the return shipper, conveniently accessible for use by the return shipper. Embodiments provide for some or all return shipping fees to be borne by the merchant rather than the return shipper.
DEVICE DETECTING SYSTEM
A device detecting system is provided. The device detecting system includes a bar code scanner, a plurality of device accommodating spaces, a screen, and a server. The server obtains bar code information via the bar code scanner and opens one of the device accommodating spaces based on the bar code information to accommodate an electronic device. The server performs a test procedure on the electronic device to generate a test result, and displays the test result and operation information corresponding to the test result on the screen.
System and method for managing retail product returns
The present application generally relates to methods and systems for facilitating the return and exchange processes of unwanted retail products, and it more specifically relates to coordinating the pickup, drop-off, and delivery of unwanted products from the customer to the retailer. The methods and systems of the present application being designed to facilitate the product return and exchange processes without the need for the customer's credit card or other payment information. The methods and systems of the present application being designed to facilitate earlier confirmation to the retailer that the product has been picked up from the customer.

Alternate transaction return promotion opportunity
An intent to return a product from a recipient that includes information about the product is received. An optimal social media influencer is selected from a plurality of social media influencers, based on the product information and the location of the product recipient, and information and location associated with respective influencers of the plurality of social media influencers. An agreement document is sent to the selected optimal social media influencer, and the agreement includes terms for the influencer to provide a posting of an activity associated with the product on a social media platform. In response to receiving a response accepting the agreement document, delivery information that includes a destination associated with the selected social media influencer is generated, and the delivery information associated with the selected optimal social media influencer is sent to the recipient of the product from which a shipping label can be printed.

Distributed Ledger Platform for Improved Return Logistics
Aspects of the disclosure relate to return logistics. A computing platform may process a first request, resulting in first information indicating a first transfer of resources from a buyer of an item to a seller. The computing platform may record, in a distributed ledger, the first information. The computing platform may receive a second request corresponding to another sale of the item, and may process the second request, which may result in second information indicating a second transfer of resources from another buyer to the seller. The computing platform may record, in the distributed ledger, the second information, and may cause the item to be sent from the buyer to the other buyer. The computing platform may identify, using the distributed ledger, that the item has been received by the other buyer, and may cause a third transfer of resources from the seller to the buyer.
Systems and methods for return logistics for merchandise via autonomous vehicle
An autonomous robotic vehicle includes a conveyance system, a securable compartment configured to autonomously lock and unlock, a customer identification reader, at least one processor, and a memory storing instructions which, when executed by the at least one processor, causes the autonomous robotic vehicle to, autonomously: travel to a destination location of a customer; capture, by the customer identification reader at the destination location, a customer identification object; determine that the captured customer identification object matches an identity of the customer; unlock the securable compartment based on the determination; capture, by the product identification reader, a product identifier; and accept a product to be returned by locking the securable compartment. The securable compartment contains a product identification reader.
Distributed warehousing
Distributing warehousing of products by receiving, by a distributed warehousing system, a first notification that a product was delivered to a first customer at a first location. The technology receives a designation of the delivered product for return, and then identifies a second delivery location for the designated product, the second delivery location being a location of a second customer. A second notification of pickup of the designated product from the first location is then received by the technology. The technology then directs delivery of the product to the second location, without an intermediate storage of the product at a brick-and-mortar distribution facility, in response to receiving the second notification, and receives a third notification that the product was delivered to the second location.
