One embodiment in the form of a method includes receiving, via a network, a dynamic mobile document request associated with a registered user and including a token associated with data to be included in the dynamic mobile document. The method may then retrieve data for the dynamic mobile document from a database based at least in part on the token and an identifier of the registered user and then continue by transmitting, via the network, the retrieved dynamic mobile document data and data indicating how the dynamic mobile document is to be provided to the registered user to a dynamic mobile document generation service, the dynamic mobile document generation service to generate and provide the dynamic mobile document to the registered user.

A parking assignment system that comprises: a parking assignment device; a computer system running software comprising a parking assignment algorithm wherein the parking assignment algorithm is stored on a computer readable medium; and a sensor; wherein said computer system is in communication with said sensor; wherein said computer system is in communication with said parking assignment device; wherein said parking assignment algorithm is configured to optimally assign a parking space; wherein said parking assignment device is configured to accept input that comprises data from said sensor and communicate said data from said sensor to said computer system; wherein said computer system is configured to use said data from said sensor to track available parking spots; and wherein said computer system is configured to accept input comprising a user's parking preferences and assign an optimal parking space according to said parking assignment algorithm.

Systems and methods for interaction-based validation of electronic tickets. In some embodiments, the system renders a first visually illustrative scene on an interactive display screen of a mobile device, the first visually illustrative scene responsive to a pre-determined gesture performed at a predetermined location on the interactive display screen. Upon a user interacting with the first visually illustrative scene, an app on the user's mobile device extracts user interaction information. In response to determining that the user interaction information matches with a predetermined gesture performed at the predetermined location, the system renders a second visually illustrative scene on the interactive display screen of the mobile device.

A method for providing an electronic ticket by a security element associated with a mobile terminal. The ticket is stored in the mobile terminal and designed to access a service via an access control device. The method includes the following acts by the security element: receiving the electronic ticket originating from the mobile terminal; temporarily storing the electronic ticket in the security element; providing the electronic ticket for the access control device; authenticating taking into account at least one item of data contained in the ticket and one item of data linked to the security element; and deleting the ticket from the memory of the security device.

An electronically-facilitated event-based sports pool with decreased house liability. Pool tickets are sold in respect of each scoring interval in the subject sports competition to purchasors, each corresponding to a potential subject sports competition outcome and wager amount. Following a scoring interval if no successful wagers/pool tickets were sold, the pot is reserved for the next scoring interval. If there are no paying wagers identified in the last chronological scoring interval in the subject sports competition, the total wager pool including any retained player proceeds portion from the chronologically preceding scoring interval are retained by the operator of the pool. The system and method can be integrated with pre-existing results tracking and account funding systems, for easy integration into existing gaming outlets.

An electronic-ticketing approach in which a user of a mobile device receives a voucher code at a Ticket Vending Machine (TVM) in a transit station, enters the voucher code into the user's mobile device, and sends it to a control unit to receive an electronic ticket from the control unit delivered to the user's mobile device. The voucher code is a randomly-generated, alpha-numeric code that can be displayed on TVM displays and also can be easily be printed on TVM receipts. When the control unit receives the voucher code, it links the electronic ticket to the user before delivering the ticket to the user's mobile device so as to keep a track of the user's usage of the ticket. A software module provides a user app portion for the user's mobile device and a server app portion for the control unit, both of which operate in conjunction with each other.

A method for utilizing IoT information to generate queue related augmented reality (AR) information associated with a transportation system. In an embodiment, the method includes at least one computer processor identifying a plurality of users within a staging area of a transportation system. The method further includes determining groups of users from among the plurality of users, based on a transportation route respectively associated with transportation information corresponding to respective users. The method further includes identifying a first vehicle that a first user is scheduled to board, based on an indication of the first vehicle in the transportation information associated with the first user. The method further includes determining AR information related to queues associated with boarding the first vehicle and transportation information corresponding to groups of users within a proximity of the queues associated with boarding the first vehicle, and presenting to the first user, the AR information.

This invention discloses a novel system and method for distributing electronic ticketing such that the ticket is verified at the entrance to venues by means of an animation or other human perceptible verifying visual object that is selected by the venue for the specific event. Tins removes the need to use a bar-code scanner on an LCD display of a cell phone or other device and speeds up the rate at which human ticket takers can verify ticket holders.

In general, one aspect disclosed features a system, comprising: a hardware processor; and a non-transitory machine-readable storage medium encoded with instructions executable by the hardware processor to perform operations comprising: identifying a seat in which a passenger is seated in a conveyance having multiple seats based on wireless signals exchanged with a device of a passenger; determining a payment status of the ticket of the passenger using the wireless signals; and generating a map of the conveyance indicating the seat in which the passenger is seated and the payment status of the ticket of the passenger.
