Method and system for using recycling to improve blockchain mining
A method for awarding blockchain mining fees based on recycling efforts includes: receiving recycling data for each of a plurality of mining systems including an amount of recycled materials associated with the respective mining system; receiving validation data for each mining system from third party entities including, for each mining system, a confirmation of the amount of recycled materials for the respective recycling data; selecting one of the mining systems, which is weighted based on the amount of recycled materials for the respective mining system compared to a total amount of recycled materials for all mining systems; and receiving a new block generated by the selected mining system including a block header and a plurality of blockchain data values including a blockchain data value corresponding to a blockchain transaction for payment of mining fees for the new block to a wallet associated with the selected mining system.
ELECTRONIC PAYMENT SYSTEM AND METHOD SUITABLE FOR OTT ENVIRONMENT
The present disclosure relates to a payment system and method using a real-name account of a seller, the system and method being expanded from universal payment gateway (PG) platforms to the over the top (OTT) platform market and, more specifically, a payment system and method in which a payment exclusive account (hereinafter, payment account) opened in the real-name of a seller is used by default so that, in non-face-to-face electronic commerce, transactions may be conducted in real-time through live broadcasts between a plurality of unspecified sellers and a plurality of unspecified buyers at home and abroad, thereby enabling convenient, speedy, and safe processing with reduced processing costs.
Method and apparatus for ordering goods, services and content over an internetwork using a virtual payment account
A virtual payment system for paying for goods, services and content ordered over an internetwork is disclosed. The virtual payment system includes a commerce gateway. Buyers and sellers becomes registered participants by applying for virtual payment buyer and seller accounts. Once an account is established with the commerce gateway, a digital certificate is stored on the registered participant's computer. A buyer can then order a product, i.e., goods, services or content from a seller and charge it to the virtual payment account. When the product is shipped, the seller notifies the commerce gateway, which applies the charges to the buyer's virtual payment account. The buyer can settle the charges using a prepaid account, a credit account, or by using reward points earned through use of the virtual payment account. A buyer may create sub-accounts.
DYNAMIC THIRD-PARTY INCENTIVIZATION OF SAVINGS BEHAVIOR
Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for third-party sponsorship of incentives to beneficiaries via secure and continuous data retrieval across several sources of record. These sources of record may have multiple data layers across different servers and regulatory coverages. To incentivize beneficiaries to create mutually acceptable outcomes for both beneficiaries and sponsors, criteria with varying levels of detail may be established for the apportionment of incentives. To qualify beneficiaries, a multi-tier processor may retrieve securely from various internal and external data sources, confirm, qualify, quantify, and issue actions that result in the transfer of incentive from a sponsoring entity's account to an end beneficiary account. To enable such a processor to run across multiple sponsors and associated beneficiaries, the data architecture and retrieval process may provide incentive apportionment with full accuracy and scalability while segregating data storage and processing to achieve better security and privacy.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR RECEIVING A DEBT PAYMENT
A method of determining a likelihood that a debt payment will be made or received, the method comprising sending a message to a debtor mobile computing device comprising a link to a debtor portal; displaying on the debtor mobile computing device an indication of the debt owing; displaying on the debtor mobile computing device a proposed payment plan for settlement of the debt; and receiving an indication that the debtor accepts the proposed payment plan is disclosed. The method may use Next Best Action (NBA) modelling. The message sent may be a SMS message and it may include an indication of the debt owing. The method may further comprise offering a discount to the debtor if the discounted amount is paid that day. The offer of a discount may initiate an automated negotiation process with the debtor.
Interactive banking using multiple checking accounts
A financial institution computing system associated with a financial institution includes an account management circuit. The account management circuit is configured to receive, by the network interface, a customer request to establish a checking account at the financial institution, create first and second checking accounts for the customer, the first checking account having a payment card associated therewith, the second checking account not having any payment cards associated therewith, receive, by the network interface, information regarding a funding amount for the first and second payment accounts, receive, by the network interface, information regarding a first expense of the customer, and fund the second account with a first portion of the funding amount based on the information regarding the first expense.
Image data extraction for transaction management
Techniques are described for migrating information from a first account to a second account, based on analyzed image(s) of document(s). Image(s) of a document may be generated using an image capture device of a smartphone or other portable computing device. The image(s) may be analyzed, through pattern recognition analysis or barcode scanning, to extract the information from the image(s). The information may then be employed to schedule a transaction, such as payment of a bill described in the information. In some instances, the extracted information may be used as part of an account migration process, in which transactions are migrated from a first account to a second account.
Systems and methods for providing shared promotion redemptions
Systems, apparatus, methods, and non-transitory media for programmatically grouping consumers are discussed herein. Some embodiments may include a system configured to provide to shared promotion redemptions. The system may include a merchant device with processing circuitry configured to associate multiple consumer accounts with a point-of-sale order. Based on receiving redemption data from a consumer device associated with one of the consumer accounts, the system may be further configured to allow the consumer device to share a selected promotion. For example, the system may determine payment share amounts for each consumer account based on a transaction price of the point-of-sale order and the redemption value of the promotion selected for shared redemption.
