Systems and methods for providing multi-factor authentication for vehicle transactions
Methods and systems are employed for completing a transaction via an internet-connected vehicle by leveraging a multi-factor authentication to compare vehicle identification information and user identification information based on stored information. In addition, methods and systems are provided for completing a transaction via an internet-connected vehicle by automatic enforcement of business rules (e.g., parental control spending tools, or employee spending tracking tools).
Method and Apparatus for Parking Lot Metering
A method and apparatus for parking lot metering. The present invention allows multi-space meters to separately manage and control premium parking spaces, such as those for charging electric vehicles or those which supply electric power for engine block heaters in both pay-by-space and pay-an-display systems. Such premium spaces can be managed together over large areas (e.g., a city or region), or may be managed over smaller areas (e.g., the domain of an individual kiosk), or individually per parking space. Management includes pricing, time limits, hours, seasons of operation, and restrictions by vehicle type, and alternative pricing and restrictions for non-premium hours.
REAL-TIME FULLY AUTOMATED INCENTIVE-TO-NEEDS MATCHING AND DELIVERY
Generating an asset ontology. Obtaining current transaction information associated with a current transaction, the current transaction information being obtained in response to the current transaction being processed by a point of sale system. Updating a subscriber profile based on the current transaction information. Selecting one or more subscriber roles based on the updated subscriber profile. Identifying one or more assets based on the one or more subscriber roles and the asset ontology. Selecting one or more incentives based on the one or more assets. Providing the one or more incentives to a subscriber system, thereby causing the subscriber system to present the one or more incentives at substantially the same time as the current transaction is processed by the point of sale system.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR INTENT-BASED ATTRIBUTION SCHEDULE
Disclosed are methods and systems to provide a streaming service platform that allows communication sessions and payments to an artist based on user-centric royalty models and additional payment requests by users including a method that comprises: determining characteristics of the output of media content selected for output in association with a user account over a period of time, determining, based on the characteristics of the output, an intent value associated with the user account in relation to the media content, and generating an attribution schedule indicating a degree of attribution for the entity based on the determined intent value. The method may further comprise determining that the period of time has lapsed and facilitating a transfer of funds to an entity account associated with the entity utilizing the attribution schedule and based on the period of time lapsing.
TECHNIQUES AND SYSTEMS TO PERFORM AUTHENTICATION AND PAYMENT OPERATIONS WITH A CONTACTLESS CARD TO PROVIDE ITEMS AND SERVICES
Embodiments discussed herein are generally directed to systems, devices, methods, and techniques to perform authentication and payment operations with a contactless card to provide items and services.
Integrating authenticated pay television streams into mobile in-game sports gaming applications
In a system for integrating authentication of pay television streams for a sports gaming event using a graphical interface of a computing device application, the system including: a processor configured to: receive authentication information from a user; verify the authentication information with a media service provider; display a live video stream on the graphical interface in response to the verification of the authentication information; receive sports data about the sporting event via a network; access a database of historical statistics relating to the sporting event and to players playing in the sporting event; select at least one betting scenario from a betting scenario database based on the sports data and the historical statistics; display the at least one betting scenario on the graphical interface; and receive a response to the at least one betting scenario from the user.
System for recurring auxiliary resource distribution
Systems, computer program products, and methods are described herein for recurring auxiliary resource distribution. The present invention may be configured to detect a trigger event associated with a plurality of sources, where the plurality of sources includes a standard source and an auxiliary source, and where the plurality of sources is associated with a user. The present invention may be configured to transform, using a resource transformation engine and based on the trigger event, a first amount of auxiliary resources in the auxiliary source to a second amount of standard resources, deduct the first amount of auxiliary resources from a first balance of the auxiliary source, and add the second amount of standard resources to a second balance of the standard source. The present invention may be configured to perform a resource distribution using the second amount of standard resources from the standard source.
System and method for transmitting unlock codes based on event triggers
The disclosure generally relates to a system and method for randomly generating unlock codes and identifiers for locks, and creating unlock code and identifier pairs. In an exemplary embodiment, the invention is integrated with, or part of, a distributed management system that controls access to various locations, such as, for example, self-storage units, hotel rooms, apartment buildings, storage containers, short-term housing rentals, lockers, equipment rooms, vaults, hospitals, airports, government facilities, nuclear power facilities, water treatment facilities, weapon storage facilities, aircraft cockpits, and any other setting that requires restricted, selective, or monitored access that can be remotely controlled, whereby users can receive unlock codes electronically on their mobile device.
Measuring apparatus and method for capturing electrical energy transferred from a charging station
The invention relates to means for a calibration standards-compliant determination of the electrical energy transferred from a charging station, which make a measurement at the transfer point, that is to say at the vehicle-side end of the charging cable, unnecessary. Here, the electrical energy transferred from a charging station is determined by a measurement of the energy before the transfer point, wherein the reactive power component from the termination point as far as the transfer point is compensated. The reactive power component is determined from at least one second electrical variable, for example a resistance of a conductor or a conductor shield, which is in a fixed relationship with an analog electrical variable that is relevant to the transferred electrical energy, for example an ohmic total resistance of at least two conductors involved in a charging circuit.
Method for determination of an effective machine use of a machine tool as well as machine tool configured therefore
A method for determination of an effective machine use of a machine tool, as well as a machine tool that is configured for this purpose. The machine tool has multiple machine axes in order to move a workpiece and/or a tool. A rotary drive drives the workpiece or the tool in order to remove material. A control unit of the machine tool determines a use duration characteristic parameter (T) and an output power characteristic parameter (L) and determines therefrom a machine use characteristic parameter (M). The use duration characteristic parameter (T) describes a duration during which the workpiece is machined by the tool. The output power characteristic parameter (L) describes the applied or required power in order to effect the material removal. The machine use characteristic parameter (M) is determined by the control unit, such that it can be transmitted to an external unit for further evaluation or processing.
