Waking up a terminal to receive an ultrasonic signal in reponse to sensor data
A method, a terminal, and a storage medium are provided for controlling a functional circuit. In the method, the terminal acquires sensor data information of a sensor. Further, the terminal wakes up the functional circuit in the terminal to receive an ultrasonic signal in response to determining that the acquired sensor data information meets a preset condition.
Wireless electric vehicle charging managed by a parking manager device
A system for charging an electric vehicle having at least one power induction coil under control of a processor wirelessly charges an electric vehicle, wherein the at least one power induction coil is positioned in proximity to a parking location; and a parking manager device manages permissions for electric vehicles to park in one or more parking locations included in a parking zone associated with the parking manager device, wherein the parking manager also manages permissions for electric vehicles to charge via wireless charging while parked in the one or more parking locations, wherein the parking manager device has a unique address and the zone, parking locations, and charging stations associated with the parking manager device have associated unique sub-addresses associated with the parking manager device unique address.
PRINTING DEVICE CAUSING EXTERNAL DEVICE TO ACQUIRE PAYMENT INFORMATION OF FEE REQUIRED FOR EXECUTING PRINT JOB WITH THE PRINTING DEVICE
A printing device includes: a printing unit; and a controller. The printing unit is configured to print an image on a print medium. The controller is configured to perform: (a) receiving; (b) transmitting; (c) receiving; and (d) transmitting. The (a) receiving receives a print job from an external device. The (b) receiving receives a print job from an external device. The (b) transmitting transmits the print job to a data processing server. The (c) receiving receives, from the external device, destination information representing a destination of payment information of a fee required for executing the print job with the printing unit. The (d) transmitting transmits the destination information to the data processing server to cause the data processing server to provide the payment information to the external device.
CONTROLLER CONFIGURED TO STORE TRANSMISSION ADDRESS INFORMATION TO WHICH PAYMENT PROCESS INFORMATION FOR PRINT JOB IS TRANSMITTED IN ASSOCIATION WITH IDENTIFICATION INFORMATION
A printing device includes a controller configured to perform: (a) storing identification information and transmission address information in association with each other; (b) acquiring, in response to receiving a print job together with the identification information from an external device, the transmission address information stored in association with the identification information in the (a) storing on the basis of the received identification information; and (c) transmitting the transmission address information acquired in the (b) acquiring to a data processing server so that payment process information is transmitted to a transmission address corresponding to the transmission address information, the payment process information being information to pay a fee charged for performing printing based on the received print job.
System and Method for Purchasing Wireless Battery Charge for Electronic Devices
The present invention relates to a smartphone battery wireless charging system and application. The wireless charging application enables customers to purchase battery charge by paying a fee. The requested battery charge is provided wirelessly over-the-air using Wi-Fi by wireless charging base stations or using IoT devices and more. A server determines the battery capacity of the battery of a smartphone and based on the battery charge purchase request, battery charge is transmitted to the smartphone in the form of waves which are received by the smartphone and is converted into electric charge to recharge the battery. A user can pay a fee to receive, for example, 25%, 50%, 75%, or 100% battery charge. The charging of the phone is provided without an external connector thereby enabling individuals to use their phone for extended periods of time without running out of battery charge.
Printing device functionality based on consumption and payment
Examples for determining printing device functionality based on consumption and payment are described herein. In some examples, signals indicative of an amount of utilized print consumable by a printing device and signals indicative of payment for the amount of utilized print consumable are received at a computing device. Signals to cause the printing device to alter a functionality based on the signals indicative of an amount of utilized print consumable and the signals indicative of payment for the amount of utilized print consumable are transmitted by the computing device.
High accuracy geo-location system and method for mobile payment
Location polygons are defined along traffic lanes and parking spaces to facilitate determination of the location of a vehicle relative to features associated with the location polygons. The location polygons are used, in one application, to identity entrance and exit of a special toll lane along a roadway, and to ensure that the vehicle properly enters and exits the tolling lane.
SUPPORTING A USER IN INITIATING OR STOPPING PAYMENTS FOR A PARKED VEHICLE
A method for supporting a user in initiating or stopping one or more payments for a parked vehicle at one or more locations. The method includes determining that a user activity indicative of the one or more payments for the parked vehicle is being performed during one or more time intervals where the one or more payments for the parked vehicle are to be initiated or stopped by: obtaining information relating to the user activity from one or more apps likely related to parking in a mobile communication device during the one or more time intervals, and/or monitoring operations likely related to parking generated by the user activity in the mobile communication device during the one or more time intervals.
Heterogeneous system on a chip scheduler
Described are techniques for scheduling tasks on a heterogeneous system on a chip (SoC). The techniques including receiving a directed acyclic graph at a meta pre-processor associated with a heterogeneous SoC and communicatively coupled to a scheduler, wherein the directed acyclic graph corresponds to a control flow graph of tasks associated with an application executed by the heterogeneous SoC. The techniques further including determining a rank for a respective task in the directed acyclic graph, wherein the rank is based on a priority of the respective task and a slack in the directed acyclic graph. The techniques further including providing the respective task to the scheduler for execution on the heterogeneous SoC according to the rank.
PRINTING SYSTEM EXECUTING TWO OR MORE TARGET JOBS IN RESPONSE TO COMPLETION OF SETTLEMENT OF TOTAL FEE
A printing system includes a printing mechanism. The printing mechanism is configured to perform printing. The printing system stores a plurality of print jobs in a storage, and receives selections of two or more print jobs to be executed as two or more target jobs from among the plurality of print jobs stored in the storage. The printing system determines a total fee to be charged for executing the two or more target jobs, and performs a settlement related process related to settlement of the determined total fee. The printing system executes the two or more target jobs to print images by using the printing mechanism in response to completion of settlement of the total fee.
